Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA A PREPARAçãO DE ACROLEìNA E/OU áCIDO ACRìLICO A PARTIR DE PROPANO E/OU PROPENO". A invenção refere-se a um método para produzir acroleína e/ou ácido acrílico de propano e/ou propeno, compreendendo as seguintes etapas: (a) separar o propano e/ou propeno de uma mistura gasosa contendo propano ou propeno, por meio de absorção para dentro de um agente de absorção, (b) separar o propano e/ou propeno do agente de absorção, desse modo obtendo-se um gás B, e (c) utilizar o gás B, obtido na etapa (b), para converter propano e/ou propeno em acroleína e/ou ácido acrílico por meio de oxidação. Nenhuma desidrogenação heterogeneamente catalisada de propano é realizada entre as etapas (b) e (c) sem um suprimento de oxigênio.
