- a sipe (not shown) extending along the extending direction of the shoulder auxiliary groove 44 may be provided.
- lug grooves (central lug groove 21, intermediate lug groove 31, shoulder lug groove 41) are formed in each land portion (central land portion 20, intermediate land portion 30, shoulder land portion 40) as described above.
- the lug grooves (the central lug groove 21, the intermediate lug groove 31, the shoulder lug groove 41) formed in adjacent land portions are configured so that the inclination directions thereof are opposite to each other.
- the present invention mainly defines the structure of the region (side region S) on the outer side in the tire width direction from the ground contact E as described later. Therefore, as long as the shoulder block 42 is defined by the outer main groove 12 and the shoulder lug groove 41 as described above, the structure of the other part (tread pattern) in the ground contact region is not necessarily limited to the embodiment of FIG. Is not to be done.
- the shoulder block 42 extends beyond the ground contact E, and is measured from the position of the ground contact E of the tread portion 1 toward the tire radial direction.
- the ratio h / H of the vertical distance h to the tire cross-section height H is set to 0.2 or more.
- the shoulder block 42 does not extend beyond the tire maximum width position, and the innermost edge in the tire radial direction of the shoulder block 42 is located on the outer side in the tire radial direction than the tire maximum width position.
- the ratio h / H of the vertical distance h to the tire cross-section height H is preferably set to 0.32 to 0.40.
- the shoulder block 42 that is widely formed to the inner side in the tire radial direction, when the inner side in the tire width direction from the contact edge E is the tread side region T and the outer side in the tire width direction is the side side region S, Are formed with a plurality of recesses 45 whose periphery is closed.
- the first shoulder auxiliary groove 43 and the second shoulder auxiliary groove 43 are formed in the tread side region T. 2 to 4, two concave portions 45 are arranged in the side region S side by side in the tire radial direction.
- the second shoulder auxiliary groove 44 communicates with the recess 45 on the outer side in the tire radial direction (on the ground contact end E side).
- the second shoulder auxiliary groove 44 has a groove width and a groove depth with a lug groove (shoulder). Since it is sufficiently smaller than the lug groove 41), it can be considered that the recess 45 is substantially closed.
- the ratio h / H of the vertical distance h to the tire cross-section height H is smaller than 0.2, the portion where the tire contacts mud or the like when the tire enters a deep muddy land should be widely used. It is difficult to improve the traction sufficiently. Conversely, even if the shoulder block 42 extends beyond the tire maximum width position, the portion inside the tire radial direction from the tire maximum width position does not come into contact with mud etc. even if the tire enters a deep muddy ground, etc. The effect of improving traction is not obtained. Further, since the shoulder block 42 exists over a wide area of the sidewall portion 2 and the rubber thickness of the sidewall portion 2 is increased, other tire performance may be adversely affected.
- the plurality of recesses 45 has a ratio Sin / Sout of the total area Sin of the plurality of recesses 45 in each shoulder block 42 to the area Sout of the side region of each shoulder block 0.2 ⁇ Sin / Sout. It is formed so as to satisfy the relationship of ⁇ 0.6. Thereby, even if the recessed part 45 is provided, the rigidity of the shoulder block 42 can be sufficiently ensured, and the traction property by the recessed part 45 can be effectively exhibited while maintaining the block rigidity.
- the ratio Sin / Sout is smaller than 0.2, the volume of the recess 45 is insufficient, and the effect of improving the traction property by providing the recess 45 cannot be obtained.
- Sin / Sout is larger than 0.6, the rigidity of the shoulder block 42 is insufficient, and the traction is deteriorated.
- the area ratio Sin / Sout is preferably set to 0.25 to 0.35.
- the shape on the block surface is not particularly limited.
- a triangular shape, a circular shape, or the like can be adopted.
- mud etc. can be scratched by the straight part, so that the running performance in mudland etc. It will be advantageous to increase.
- the plurality of recesses 45 are arranged side by side in the tire radial direction, but the plurality of recesses 45 can also be arranged in the tire circumferential direction.
- arranging the plurality of recesses 45 side by side in the tire radial direction ensures the circumferential length of the recesses 45 (that is, the circumferential length of mud or the like pressed by the recesses 45). Traction can be improved more effectively.
- Each recess 45 preferably has a depth of 0.5 mm or more. Moreover, it is preferable that the depth of each recessed part 45 is smaller than the groove depth of the part of the shoulder lug groove 41 adjacent to the recessed part 45 in the circumferential direction. As a result, a sufficient volume of the recess 45 can be ensured without reducing the rigidity of the shoulder block 42, which is advantageous in obtaining traction based on the shearing force against the above-mentioned pressed mud or the like. . At this time, if the depth of the recess 45 is smaller than 0.5 mm, the volume of the recess 45 cannot be sufficiently secured, and the effect of enhancing the traction by the recess 45 cannot be sufficiently obtained.
- the depth of the recess 45 is larger than the groove depth of the shoulder lug groove 41 adjacent in the circumferential direction, the rigidity of the shoulder block 42 is lowered, and it becomes difficult to obtain traction on the contrary.

- the width ratio Wb / Wa is preferably in the range of 0.15 to 0.50.
- the narrow-width bent portion 41s By setting the groove width of the narrow-width bent portion 41s in this way, it is possible to balance both the performance of discharging mud and the like by the narrow-width bent portion 41s and the traction property based on the shearing force against the pressed mud and the like. it can.
- the ratio Wb / Wa is smaller than 0.15, the shoulder lug groove 41 is substantially closed, so that the performance of discharging mud or the like is lowered.
- the ratio Wb / Wa is larger than 0.50, the discharge of mud or the like cannot be sufficiently suppressed, and the traction performance based on the shearing force against the mud or the like that has been consolidated cannot be sufficiently obtained.
