Claims (4)
- ハウジングの端子収容室に収容され、かつ前記端子収容室内に充填されたシール部材を貫通して該シール部材に密着されるコネクタ端子の製造方法であって、
金属板を打ち抜いて中間材を成形する第1工程と、
前記中間材にめっきを被覆する第2工程と、を備えたことを特徴とするコネクタ端子の製造方法。 - 前記第1工程において、前記中間材を、前記金属板にプレス加工油を噴き付けつつプレス加工により前記金属板を打ち抜いて成形し、
前記第1工程と前記第2工程との間に、前記中間材に付着したプレス加工油を洗浄する洗浄工程を備えることを特徴とする請求項1記載のコネクタ端子の製造方法。 - 請求項1又は請求項2記載の製造方法で製造されたコネクタ端子と、
前記コネクタ端子を収容する端子収容室を有するハウジングと、
前記コネクタ端子が前記端子収容室内に収容された状態で、前記端子収容室内に充填されるシール部材と、備え、
前記コネクタ端子が、前記シール部材を貫通して該シール部材に密着されることを特徴とするコネクタ。 - 前記中間材は、複数の棒部材と、前記複数の棒部材を連結する連結部と、を有して構成され、この中間材にめっきを被覆した後に、前記棒部材と前記連結部との境界部を切断することで前記コネクタ端子は得られるものであり、
前記棒部材と前記連結部との境界部における前記コネクタ端子の切断面は非めっき部を有し、
前記非めっき部は、前記シール部材と密着しない位置に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項3記載のコネクタ。
