Abstract

　事故発生時における証拠データの消失のリスクを軽減できるドライブレコーダ等を提供することを課題とする。この課題を解決するため、走行時において車両前方部を撮像する撮像手段１４０と、撮像した映像信号から動画データを生成する動画データ生成手段１５０と、動画データを格納しておくための記憶部１７と、動画データを記憶部１７に記録する記録手段１７０と、事故発生を検知するイベント発生検知手段１３０と、映像信号から、所定時間間隔の複数の静止画像から成る静止画像データを生成する静止画像データ生成手段１６０と、イベント発生検知手段１３０が事故発生を検知した時、静止画像データを、無線ネットワークを介して外部装置に送信する第１の送信手段２１０と、第１の送信手段２１０による送信終了後、動画データを送信する第２の送信手段２２０と、を備えた。
