【0 0 2 0】 エプロンアツパメンバ 4は、 車両 2の左右両側に配置され前後 方向に延在し、 エプロンアツパメンバ 4の前部は、 車幅方向の内側に向かって折 曲し、 上記したように、 ラジェータサポートアツパ 6 aに連結されている。 一方、 ェプロンァッパメンパ 4の後端側は、 車体の骨格部材の一部であり客室の前部を 形成するフロントポデーピラーアツパーリインフォースメント (フロントピラー、 以下 Aピラーという) 9に連結されている。 また、 エプロンアツパメンバ 4の車 幅方向の内側には、 サスペンションに用いられるショックァブソーバの上部を車 体側で支持するサスペンションタワー 8が設けられている。 このサスペンション タワー 8は、 車幅方向においてェプロンアツパメンバ 4からエンジンルーム 2 a 側に突出し、 車高方向に延在する略筒状を成して、 ショックァブソーバをェンジ ンルーム 2 a側から覆う形状とされ、 当該ショックァブソーバを懸吊する構成と されている。

【0 0 2 2】 カウル部 7は、 ダッシュパネル 3の上端に連結されて車幅方向 に延在し、 カウル部 7の両端部は、 一対の Aピラー 9に連結されている。 カウル 部 7は、 車高方向に立設された前壁 7 a及ぴ後壁 7 bと、 これらの前壁 7 a及ぴ 後壁 7 bの下端部同士を互いに連結する底板 7 cと、 前壁 7 a及ぴ後壁 7 bの上 端部同士を互いに連結する上板 (図では上板が無い状態を示す) とを有し、 フロ ントガラスを下方から支持すると共に、 ェアコンへの空気の供給経路として利用 される。 '

【0 0 4 4】 このように構成された車体の前部構造 4 1において、 車両 4 2 が例えば他の車両等の障害物と、 車両 4 2の前方側で衝突した際に、 ラジェータ サポートアツパ 6 aにかかる荷重 Fは、 エプロンアツパメンバ 4及び第 6の補強 部材 4 3に伝達される。 エプロンアツパメンバ 4に伝達された荷重は、 Aピラー 9に伝達されて車体の骨格部材に分散される。 一方、 第 6の捕強部材 4 3に伝達 ― された荷重は、 ダッシュパネル 3を—介してダッシュパネル支持部材 4 4に伝達さ れ、 ダッシュパネル支持部材 4 4に伝達された荷重は、 力ウル部 7、 Aピラー 9 に伝達されて車体の骨格部材に分散される。 このような車体の前部構造 4 1であ つても、 第 1実施形態の車体の前部構造 1と同様の効果を得ることができる。
【0 0 4 5】 なお、 上記第 4実施形態においては、 特に好ましいとして、 ダ ッシュパネル支持部材 4 4を備える構成としているが、 第 6の補強部材 4 3のみ を備える構成を採用しても良い。
【0 0 4 6】 次に、 本発明の第 5実施形態に係る車体の前部構造について、 図 8を参照しながら説明する。 この第 5実施形態の車体の前部構造 5 1が第 1実 施形態の車体の前部構造 1と違う点は、 カウル部 7におけるカウルパルク 1 2の 後端を支持する部分と Aピラー 9とを連結するカウル支持部材 1 3を備える点で ある。
【0 0 4 7】 このカウル支持部材 1 3は、 カウル部 7の後壁 7 bの後面 (客 室) 側に配置され、 カウル部 7の車幅方向における端部 7 dを Aビラ一 9側から 支持する補強部材である。 力ウル支持部材 1 3の力ウル部 7側の端部 1 3 aは、
力ウル部 7及び力ウルバルタ 1 2を介して第 1の補強部材 1 1の後端部 1 1 bに 連結される。 一方、 カウル支持部材 1 3の Aピラー 9側の端部 1 3 bは、 Aビラ 一 9の車幅方向における内 (客室) 側の面に連結される。 なお、 カウル支持部材 1 3のカウル部 7及ぴ Aピラー 9への連結は、 溶接を採用してもよく、 ポルト等 を用いて連結しても良い。
【0 0 4 8】 このように構成された車体の前部構造 5 1において、 車両が例 えば他の車両等の障害物と、 車両の前方側で衝突した際に、 ラジェータサポート アツパにかかる荷重 Fは、 エプロンアツパメンバ 4及ぴ第 1の補強部材 1 1に伝 達ざれる。 エプロンアツパメンバ 4に伝達された荷重は、 Aピラー 9に伝達され て車体の骨格部材に分散される。 一方、 第 1の補強部材 1 1に伝達された荷重は、 力ウルバルタ 1 2、 力ウル部 7を介して Aピラー 9、 力ウル支持部材 1 3に伝達 され、 力ウル支持咅材 1 3に伝達された荷重は、 Aピラー 9に伝達されて車 ' 骨格部材に分散される。 このような車体の前部構造であっても、 第 1実施形態の 車体の前部構造 1と同様の効果を得ることができ、 加えて、 カウル支持部材 1 3 を備えているため、 カウル部 7を Aピラー 9で一層強固に支持することができる。
【0 0 4 9】 以上、 本発明をその実施形態に基づき具体的に説明したが、 本 発明は、 上記実施形態に限定されるものではない。 上記実施形態においては、 第 2のラジェータ支持部材を、 カウル部 7を介して Aピラー 9に連結する構成、 フ ロアトンネル 1 5に連結する構成としているが、 その他の強度部材を介して車体 の骨格部材と連結する構成としても良く、 ダッシュクロスメンバ等のその他の車 体の骨格部材に連結する構成としても良い。
産業上の利用可能性
【0 0 5 0】 本発明の車体の前部構造によれば、 ラジェータの上部を支持す るラジェータサポートの部分に対する衝突荷重が、 第 のラジェータサポート支 持部材と、 この第 1のラジェータサポート支持部材の車幅方向の内側に配置され た第 2のラジェータサポート支持部材とを介して、 車体の骨格に伝達されるため、
車両前部に作用する衝突荷重を効率良く分散させることが可能となる。 また、 ラ ジエータの上部を支持するラジェータサポートの部分にかかる曲げモーメントが 減少するため、 従前に比して、 より高い衝突荷重に耐えることができる。
Claims
1 . 車両における車幅方向両側に配置され前記車両の客室の前部を形 成する一対のフロントピラーを骨格の一部とする、 その車体の前部構造であって、 ラジェータを支持するラジェータサポートと、
前記ラジェータの上部を支持するラジェータサポートの部分を、 車幅方向両側 から支持して前記フロントピラーに連結する一対の第 1のラジェータサポート支 持部材と、
前記一対の第 1のラジェータサポート支持部材より車幅方向における内側に配 置され、 前記ラジェータの上部を支持するラジエータサポートの部分を後方から 支持して前記車体の骨格に連結する一対の第 2のラジェータサポート支持部材と、 を備えることを特徴とする車体の前部構造。
2 . 前記一対のフロントピラーの前部词士を連結するカウル部を備え、 前記第 2のラジェータサポート支持部材は、 前記カウル部に連結されているこ とを特徴とする請求項 1記載の車体の前部構造。
3 . 前記カウル部における前記第 2のラジェータサポート支持部材を 支持する部分と前記フロントビラーとを連結するカウル支持部材を備えることを 特徴とする請求項 2記載の車体の前部構造。
4 . 前記一対のフロントピラーの前部同士を連結するカウル部と、 このカウル部に連結され前記客室の前壁を構成するダッシュパネルと、 を備え、 前記第 2のラジェータサポート支持部材は、 前記ダッシュパネルに連結されて いることを特徴とする請求項 1記載の車体の前部構造。
5 . 前記ダッシュパネルにおける前記第 2のラジェータサポート支持 部材を連結する部分と前記力ウル部とを連結するダッシュパネル支持部材を備え ることを特徴とする請求項 4記載の車体の前部構造。
6 . 前記第 2のラジェータサポート支持部ネオ.は、 車両の前後方向にお いて前記ラジェータサポートと前記カウル部との間に配置された他の部材を介し
て、 前記車体の骨格に連結されていることを特徴とする請求項 2記載の車体の前 部構造。
7 . 前記他の部材は、 サスペンションに用いられるショックァブソー バを前記車体側で支持するサスペンションタワーであることを特徴とする請求項 6記載の車体の前部構造。
8 . 車両における車幅方向両側に配置され前記車両の客室の前部を形 成する一対のフロントピラーと、 前記客室の下面に形成され車両の前後方向に延 びるフロアトンネルと、 を骨格の一部とする、 その車体の前部構造であって、 , ラジエータを支持するラジエータザポートと、
前記ラジェータの上部を支持するラジエータサポートの部分を、 車幅方向両側 から支持して前記フロントピラーに連結する一対の第 1のラジェータサポート支 持部材と、
車幅方向において、 前記一対の第 1のラジェータサポート支持部材ょり内側に 配置され、 前記車両の前後方向において、 前記ラジェータの上部を支持するラジ エータサポートの部分と前記フロアトンネルとの間に配置される一対の第 2のラ ジエータサポート支持部材と、 を備え、
前記第 2のラジェータサポート支持部材は、 エンジンを間に介して配置される ことを特徴とする車体の前部構造。
