PRINCIPALMENTE PRODUCTOS ALIMENTICIOS TANTO EN FORMA LIQUIDA COMO SOLIDA, A UNA PRESION DIFERENTE DE LA PRESION ATMOSFERICA. LA INVENCION SE REFIERE EN FORMA ESPECIAL, MEDIANTE ESTE PROCESO, A LA OBTENCION DE TAJADAS DESHIDRATADAS DE BANANOS Y DE OTRAS FRUTAS Y VEGETALES, ASI COMO DE POLVO DE BANANO, FRUTAS Y VEGETALES HECHOS A PARTIR DE LAS MISMAS. PARA EL SECADO O TRATAMIENTO CON CALOR, LOS PRODUCTOS A SECAR SE INTRODUCEN EN RECIPIENTES DE TRANSPORTE, LOS QUE LUEGO SE INTRODUCEN A LA CAMARA DE TRATAMIENTO, PASANDO POR CAMARAS DE CARGA DE TIPO EXCLUSA Y SE RETIRAN DE LA CAMARA DE TRATAMIENTO PASANDO POR CAMARAS DE DESCARGA DE TIPO EXCLUSA. DENTRO DE LA CAMARA DE TRATAMIENTO SE ENCUENTRA POR LO MENOS UNA FUENTE DE MICROONDAS. ADEMAS PUEDE PREVERSE UNA FUENTE DE RAYOS INFRARROJOS. DESPUES DEL TRATAMIENTO CON CALOR O SECADO PUEDE PREVERSE UN PERIODO DE DESCANSO.
