Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un dispositivo integrado de fuente-píxel activo capaz de realizar detección y/o análisis de biomoléculas, tal como la secuenciación de ácido nucleico de una sola molécula; un píxel activo del dispositivo integrado incluye un pocillo de muestra en el que se puede difundir una muestra por analizar, una fuente de excitación para proveer energía de excitación al pocillo de muestra y un sensor configurado para detectar la emisión de la muestra; el sensor puede comprender dos o más segmentos que producen una serie de señales que son analizadas para diferenciar entre etiquetas que están unidas o asociadas con la muestra e identificarlas; la diferenciación de etiquetas puede estar basada en el espectro y/o tiempo; la identificación de las etiquetas se puede usar para detectar, analizar y/o secuenciar la biomolécula.
