Abstract

Un método para la recuperación de energía térmica a partir de la producción de al menos un material de carbono sólido comprende hacer reaccionar al menos un material de óxido de carbono y al menos un material reductor gaseoso a una temperatura mayor o igual a aproximadamente 400°C, a una presión mayor o igual aproximadamente 1 x 105 pascal y en presencia de al menos un material catalizador para producir al menos un material de carbono sólido y una corriente efluente gaseosa que comprende vapor de agua; se extrae energía térmica de la corriente efluente gaseosa que comprende vapor de agua; se exponen otros métodos para generar energía térmica recuperable, como lo es sistema de producción de carbón sólido que tiene recuperación de energía térmico.
