Abstract

En este documento se proporcionan procesos y sistemas de emisión cero de dióxido de carbono (CO2) para llevar a cabo los procesos, que comprenden a) calcinar piedra caliza en una planta de cemento en un horno eléctrico para formar una mezcla que comprende óxido de calcio y una primera corriente gaseosa que comprende dióxido de carbono limpio, en el que el dióxido de carbono limpio no comprende componentes gaseosos o no gaseosos de la combustión del combustible; b) tratar la mezcla que comprende óxido de calcio con una solución de sal que contiene N en una o más condiciones de disolución para producir una primera solución acuosa que comprende sal de calcio; y c) poner en contacto la primera solución acuosa con la primera corriente gaseosa que comprende dióxido de carbono limpio bajo una o más condiciones de precipitación para producir un material de precipitación que comprende vaterita, aragonito, calcita o combinaciones de los mismos.
