Abstract
Способ кальцинирования в печи известняка включает в себя впрыскивание тонко измельченных частиц (33) известняка в зону (36) в печи (1), в которой температура потока (10) дымового газа при прохождении его через зону (36) оказывается выше минимальной температуры кальцинирования (обычно от 1365°F (740,5°C) до 1430°F (776,7°C) и ниже эффективной температуры использования/сульфатирования негашеной извести (обычно от 1600°F (871,1°C) до 1800°F (982,2°C)). Минимизируются химические реакции между получающимися частицами извести и диоксидом серы с целью образования сульфата кальция. Минимизируются также спекание извести и образование комплексных кальциевых соединений.
