(R:La, Ce, Pr, Nd, L : Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu, Y, Sc, Mg, Ca, M : Co, Al, Mn, Fe, Cu, Zr, Ti, Mo,Si, V, Cr, Nb, Hf, Ta, W, B, C, 0.05≤x≤0.4, 0≤y≤0.5, 3.0≤z<4.5)로 표시되는 조성을 나타내고, 합금중의 결정입자의 C축과 수직으로 존재하는 역위상 경계가 C축방향으로 20nm 당 5개 이상, 25개 미만 함유되는 결정을 30용량% 이상, 95용량% 미만 함유하고, 또한 화학식 (1)중에서 L로 표시된 원소를 역위상 영역에 그 첨가량의 60%이상, 95% 미만 배치한 희토류 금속-니켈계 수소흡장합금 및 그 제조법.

희토류금속-니켈계 수소흡장합금 및 그 제조법 및 니켈수소 2차전지용 음극(RARE EARTH METAL-NICKEL HYDROGEN STORAGE ALLOY, PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME, AND ANODE FOR NICKEL-HYDROGEN RECHARGEABLE BATTERY)

Claims (9)

  1. 하기 화학식(1)
    (R1-xLx)(Ni1-yMy)z(1)
    (식 중 R은, La, Ce, Pr, Nd, 또는 이것들의 혼합원소를 나타내고, L은 Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu, Y, Sc, Mg, Ca, 또는 이것들의 혼합원소를 나타내며, M은 Co, Al, Mn, Fe, Cu, Zr, Ti, Mo, Si, V, Cr, Nb, Hf, Ta, W, B, C, 또는 이것들의 혼합원소를 나타낸다. x, y 및 z는 0.05≤x≤0.4, 0≤y≤0.5, 3.0≤z4.5이다.)로 표시되는 조성을 나타내고, 합금중의 결정입자의 C축과 수직으로 존재하는 역위상 경계가C축방향으로 20nm 당 5개 이상, 25개 미만 함유되는 결정을 30용량% 이상, 95용량% 미만 함유하고,또한 화학식 (1)중의 L로 표시된 원소를 역위상영역에 그 첨가량의 60% 이상, 95% 미만 배치한 것을 특징으로 하는 회토류금속-니켈계 수소흡장합금.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 화학식 (1)에서, x 및 z가 0.1≤x≤0.4, 또한 3.0≤z3.5인 것을 특징으로 하는 수소흡장합금.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 화학식 (1)에서 x 및 z가 0.1≤x≤0.3, 또한 3.5≤z4.0인 것을 특징으로 하는 수소흡장합금.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 화학식 (1)에서 x 및 z가 0.05≤x≤0.25, 또한 4.0≤z4.5인 것을 특징으로 하는 수소흡장합금.
  5. 제1항 기재의 회토류금속-니켈계 수소흡장합금의 제조법에 있어서, 로울러 표면 거칠기가 그 로울러 표면 요철의 평균최대높이(Rmax)30~150㎛인 로울러주조장치를 사용하고, 하기 화학식 (1)
    (R1-xLx)(Ni1-yMy)z(1)
    (식 중 R는 La, Ce, Pr, Nd, 또는 이것들의 혼합원소를 나타내고, L은 Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu, Y, Sc, Mg, Ca, 또는 이것들의 혼합원소를 나타내며, M은 Co, Al, Mn,Fe, Cu, Zr, Ti, Mo, Si, V, Cr, Nb, Hf, Ta, W, B, C, 또는 이것들의 혼합원소를 나타낸다. x, y 및 z는 0.05≤x≤0.4, 또한 0≤y0.5, 3.0≤z4.5이다.)로 표시되는 조성의 합금용융물을, 과냉도 50~500℃, 냉각속도 1000~10000℃/초의 냉각조건으로, 0.1~2.0ππ의 두께로 균일하게 응고시킨 후, 얻어진 합금을 진공중 또는 불활성 분위기중에서, 온도 750~950℃, 0.1~12시간 가열하는 것을 특징으로 하는 회토류금속-니켈계 수소흡장합금의 제조법.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 평균최대높이(Rmax)가 60~120㎛인 것을 특징으로 하는 제조법.
  7. 제1항 기재의 회토류금속-니켈계 수소흡장합금과 도전제를 음극재료로서 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 니켈수소 2차전지용 음극.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 상기 회토류금속-니켈계 수소흡장합금이 입도 20~100㎛의 분말인 것을 특징으로 하는 니켈수소 2차전지용 음극.
  9. 제7항에 있어서, 상기 음극재료중의 상기 회토류금속-니켈계 수소흡장합금의 함유비율이 70~95중량%이고, 또한 도전제의 함유비율이 5~20중량%인 것을 특징으로 하는 니켈수소 2차전지용 음극.
