NiaCocMnb1Alb2で表されるものが挙げられるが、当該式中、c、b1及びb2はそれぞれ、0.01≦c≦0.4、0.1≦b1≦0.4、0.35≦b2≦0.45であるのが好ましい。
Claims (7)
- CaCu5型の結晶構造を有し、少なくとも希土類元素とNi元素とを含み、前記希土類元素の一部がY元素で置換された水素吸蔵合金を含有する負極と、
NaOHを2.0M以上含有する電解液と、を備えていることを特徴とするニッケル水素蓄電池。 - 前記水素吸蔵合金がCe元素を含む請求項1記載のニッケル水素蓄電池。
- 前記水素吸蔵合金に含まれるY元素の含有量は、前記水素吸蔵合金に含まれる希土類元素の含有量(原子量換算)の合計を1とした場合に0.1以上である請求項1または2記載のニッケル水素蓄電池。
- 前記水素吸蔵合金中の希土類元素以外の元素の含有量が、希土類元素の含有量に対して原子数換算で5.2倍以上である請求項1から3のいずれかに記載のニッケル水素電池。
- 前記電解液がNaOHを3.0M以上含有する請求項1から4のいずれかに記載のニッケル水素蓄電池。
- 前記水素吸蔵合金がCo元素を含み、Co元素の含有量が希土類元素の含有量に対して原子数換算で0.4倍以下である請求項1から5のいずれかに記載のニッケル水素蓄電池。
- 前記水素吸蔵合金が、Co、Mn、及び、Alからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種の金属元素を含む請求項1から6のいずれかに記載のニッケル水素蓄電池。
