電気化学セル。 - 前記希土類は、イットリウムである、
請求項1記載の電気化学セル。 - 前記コーティング層は、0.01〜10マイクロメートルの厚みを有する、
請求項1記載の電気化学セル。 - 前記電気化学的活物質は、BCC固溶体、AB2、AB5およびA2B7からなる群から選択される一次相構造を有する、
請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の電気化学セル。 - 前記電気化学的活物質は、1つ以上の希土類元素を含む、
請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の電気化学セル。 - 前記電気化学的活物質中の前記希土類元素は、Y、La、Ce、Pr、Nd、他の希土類元素またはそれらの組合せからなる群から選択される、

請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の電気化学セル。 - 前記電気化学的活物質は、Niと、Y、La、Ce、Pr、Nd、他の希土類元素またはそれらの組合せからなる群から選択される1つ以上の希土類元素と、を含み、前記アルカリ性電解質は、2未満のアルカリ金属対Si原子比を有する、
請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の電気化学セル。 - 電気化学セルを形成する方法であって、
電気化学的活物質上に希土類酸化物のコーティングを積層することによって負極を形成するステップと、
前記負極を、シリケートを含むアルカリ性電解質と接触させるステップと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記電気化学的活物質は、BCC固溶体、AB2、AB5およびA2B7からなる群から選択される一次相構造を有する、
請求項12記載の方法。 - 前記電気化学的活物質は、1つ以上の希土類元素を含む、
請求項12または13記載の方法。 - 前記電気化学的活物質中の前記希土類元素は、Y、La、Ce、Pr、Ndまたはそれらの組合せからなる群から選択される、
請求項12または13記載の方法。 - 電気化学セルの高温性能を改善する方法であって、
電気化学的活物質を伝導性基材上に積層し、前記電気化学的活物質を、希土類酸化物を含むコーティング層でコーティングすることによって負極を形成するステップと、
前記負極を、シリケートを含むアルカリ性電解質と接触させるステップと、
前記電気化学的活物質の表面にシリケート皮膜を形成するステップと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記アルカリ性電解質は、2未満、任意選択的に1.9以下のアルカリ金属対Si原子比を有する、
請求項16記載の方法。 - 前記電気化学的活物質は、BCC固溶体、AB2、AB5およびA2B7からなる群から選択される一次相構造を有する、
請求項16または17記載の方法。 - 前記電気化学的活物質は、1つ以上の希土類元素を含む、
