Abstract
전기도전입자는 전기크롬물질로 도포되는 전기도전성의 비금속입자를 구비한다. 그러한 전기도전입자는 전기적으로는 도전성이나 필수적으로 이온적으로 절연성의 복합층을 마련하는데 유용한 중합체 현탄액내에 제공될 수 있다.
복합층(3a)는 이온도전층(4)이 전기크롬물질과 접촉하고 있는 전기크롬 표시장치용의 적층에서 사용될 수 있다. 이온도전층과 전기크롬물질의 계면에 전압을 인가함으로써 전기크로효과가 발생된다. 바람직한 전기도전입자는 안티모니도프 주석산화물의 층과 폴리아닐린 또는 폴리피롤과 같은 전기크롬물질의 층으로 도포되는 이산화티탄늄 입자를 구비하고 있다. 바람직한 현탄액과 적층에서 전기도입자는 광투과성 중합체 매트릭내에 분산되어 있다.
본 발명의 물질은, 예를 들어 프린트 방법에 의해 가요성 표시장치를 매우 빠른 속도로 제조할 수 있게 하여 준다.

Claims (20)
- 전기크롬 물질로 도포되는 도전성 비금속 입자를 구비하는 전기도전입자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 입자는 기판상에 도포되는 전기도전물질을 구비하도록 한 전기도전입자.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 가판은 백색 또는 파스텔 색상의 광물입자인 전기전도입자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 전기도전 물질은 도프된 주석산화물인 전기도전입자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 전기크롬 물질은 폴리어닐린, 폴리피놀, 폴리티오펜, 폴리비닐페로센, 폴리바이오로겐, 텅스텐산화물, 이리디움 산화물, 몰리부덴 산화물, 니켈산화물 및 푸르시언 블루루 구성되는 그룹으로부터 선택되는 전기전도성 입자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 전기크롬 물질의 외부층과 도프된 산화물로서 도포된 이산화티타늄 입자를 더 구비하도록 한 전기전도입자.
- (i) 용융 처리가능한 중합체, (ii)중합가능한 모노머 또는 올리고머, 또는 (iii) 용해되고 또는분산 용융된 처리가능한 중합체, 중합가능한 모노머 또는 올리고머를 함유하는 액체의 필수적으로 절연성의 투명 또는 반투명 매트릭스내에의 제1항에 따른 전기도전 입자의 현탄액.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 중합체는 폴리스틸렌, 폴리아크릴레이트, 폴리우레탄, 폴리올레핀, 폴리에스텔, 폴리아미드, 폴리카보네이트, 스틸렌아크릴로니트릴, ABS 및 그의 혼합물로부터 구성되는 선택되는 가소성 중합체이거나 또는 부틸아크릴레이트 루버, 부타디엔로루버, EPDM루버, EP루버, 스티렌 부타디엔루버 및 니트릴 루버로 구성되는 그룹으로부터 선택되는 탄성중합체 또는 열가소성 탄성중합체인 전기도전입자의 현탄액.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 도전물질은 인디움 도프 주석 산화물, 안티모니도프주석 산화물, 불소 도프 주석산화물로 도포되는 미립자 이산화티타늄인 전기도전입자이 현탄액.
- (a) 전기적으로 도전성이나 필수적으로 이온적으로는 절연성 물질의 하나이상의 영역 층과; (b) 이온도전물질의 층과; (c) 상기 층들 사이의 계면구역에 존재하고 상기 이온절연물질, 상기 이온도전물질 또는 양자의 층에서 내에서 용해되거나 분산되며 또한 상기 계면구역내이 분리 계면층에 존재에 있는 전기크롬물질과;(d) 상기 이온도전층 및 이온절연층 사이에 전위를 인가해서 전기크롬효과를 발생하도록 한 수단을 가지는 세그먼트를 구비하는 전기크롬적층.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 이온절연층에 분산된 상기 전기크롬물질은 투명 또는 반투명 중합체 매트릭내에 분산된 상기 크롬물질로 도포되는 입자상이 도전성 물질로 구성된 전기 크롬적층.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 입자상의 전기도전성 물질은 도프된 주석산화물 입자 또는 도프된 주석산화물 입자나 또는 상기 입자들로 도포되는 도프 주석산화물이고, 상기 전기크롬 물질은 폴리어닐린, 폴리피놀, 폴리티오펜, 폴리비닐페로펜, 폴리바이오로겐, 텅스텐 산화물, 이리다움산화물, 올리부덴산화물, 니켈산화물, 페니시언 블루로 구성되는 그룹으로부터 선택되는 것이고 상기 중합체 매트릭은 광학적으로 투명하거나 또는 불투명한 것으로서 폴리스틸렌, 폴리아크릴레이트, 폴리메타아크릴레이트, 폴리우레탄, 폴리올레핀, 폴리에스텔, 폴리아미드, 폴리카보네이트, 폴리비닐할라이드,폴리비닐아세탈, 폴리비닐에스텔, 폴리비닐알코올, 스틸렌아크릴로니트릴, 공중합체, ABS또는 그들의 혼합물로 구비하며, 또는 폴리프로필렌 및 루버의 혼합물을 구비하는 열가소성 탄성중합체, 또는 아크릴레이트 루버, 부타디엔 루버, EPDM루버, EP루버, 스틸렌부타디엔루버 및 니트릴 루버로 구비하는 탄성중합체이며, 상기 이온도전층은 흡수성 무릴이거나 또는 흡수성 물질을 함유하는 중합체 겔을 구비하며, 상기 흡습성 물질은 보륨화 리듐, 염화칼슘, 그리세린, 소디움디하이드로겐, 포스페이트 및 리튬 트리플루오로 메틸설펄레이트으로 구성되는 그룹으로부터 선택되는 흡습용해물질이며, 상기 전위를 인가하기 위한 수단은 금속, 금속산화물, 카본, 진성 도전성 폴리머 또는 도전성 입조로 충전된 중합체로 되는 하나이상의 전극을 구비하도록 한 전기크롬적층.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 전위는 상기 이온도전층에 의해서 전기적으로 접속되는 상기 이온절연 물질의 분리영역과 접촉산 2개이상의 전극의 수단에 의해서 상기 층들간에 인가되도록 하며 상기 전극사이의 전기저항은 상기 전극으로부터 상기 이온도전층을 통해서 접속되는 상기 이온 절연물질로의 경로에서 가장 적도록 한 전기크롬적층.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 영역 사이의 가장 낮은 전기저항의 경로가 상기 이온도전층을 통해서 있도록 상기 이온절연층의 상기 영역사이에 전기도전도가 있도록 하고 이것에 의해 상기 전기크롬영상이 이 영상을 생성한 전극을 단락시키는 외부수단없이 전압을 제거함으로써 소거될 수 있도록 한 전기크롬적층.
- (a) 가요성 기판상의 패턴에 전극을 형성하는 단계와, (b) 전기적으로 도전성이고 반드시 이온적으로는 절연물질로 하나이상의 구역을 구비하는 층내에 상기 전극을 도프하는 단계와, (c) 이온도전물질의 층을 도포해서 계면구역을 형성하도록 한 단계를 구비하고, 상기 계면구역은 (i) 상기 이온도전물질에 이웃하는 상기 이온절연물질의 적어도 경계층내에서 분산되거나 용해되는 전기크롬물질이나, 또는 (ii) 상기 이온절연물질에 이웃하는 상기 이온도전물질의 적어도 경계층에서 분산되거나 또는 용해되는 전기크롬물질이나, 또는 (iii) 상기 경계면의 양측에서 분산되거나 용해되는 전기크롬 물질이나, (iv) 상기 계면구역내의 분리계면층내에 존재하는 전기크롬물질을 포함하고 이것에 의해서 전위가 이온도전층 및 이온절연층 사이에 인가될 때 전기크롬 효과가 발생하도록 한 가요성 전기크롬표시장치를 제조하기 위한 방법.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상기 전극은 각각 약 1마이크로미터보다 크지 않는 폭과 분리구분을 가지는 복수의 선을 구비한 방법.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상기 이온절연층은 전기도전금속 및 전기크롬물질로 도포되는 광물입자를 구비하는 분산된 전기도전입자를 가지는 투명 또는 반투명의 매트릭스를 구비하도록 한 방법.
