Abstract

본 발명은 공기여과기 특히 내연기관의 흡입공기용 여과기에 관한 것이다. 상기 공기여과기는 여과기유니트를 구비한 하우징(10)을 가지고 있는 하우징은 불순공기유입구(11)와 정화공기출구(12)와 여과기유니트(17)를 안내하기 위한 개구를 가지고 있다. 여과기유니트(17)는 지지요소(18)와 여과기요소(19)로 되어 있으며 패킹요소(15)를 개제시켜서 밀폐면에 접하게 되어 있다. 하우징(10)은 여과기유니트(17)에 대한 지지요소(16)를 가지고 있으며 여과기 유니트는 지지요소에 대하여 회전운동을하며 회전-또는 선회운동에 의하여 최종위치로 도달한다.

Description

공기여과기{AIR FILTER}
US PS 40 06 000에는 주로 원통형하우징으로 되어 있는 흡입공기여과를 위한 한가지 공기여과기가 공지되어 있는데 하우징에 절선방향으로 위치한 외기흡입구를 가지고 있으며 이 하우징 내에는 반경방향에 따라 관류되는 여과기요소가 들어 있다.
하우징 자체는 베이그넷타입 끼워 맞춤(bayonet type fitting)으로 원통형 흡입공기 수집통에 연결 가능하다. 이러한 흡입 수집통에는 여과기요소 교환시에 불순물과 분진이 흡입공기 조인트 내로 유입되는 것을 방지하는 안전 카트리지(통)가 들어 있다.
안전카트리지와 여과기요소 사이의 기밀은 베이오넷조인트의 고정에 의하여 여과요소의 축방향 으로의 이동이 안전카트리지통 방향으로 이루어짐으로서 여과기요소의 전면이 안전카트리지(통)의 전면에 접하게 됨으로서 이루어 진다.
이러한 축방향 이동은 하우징 전면에 위치한 조정나사로 이루어지며 이는 여과기요소의 엔드프레이트에 축방향 운동을 시켜준다.
이러한 공지된 장치의 단점을 든다면 여과기요소의 조립분해를 위하여 하우징 주위에 충분히 큰 자유공간이 있어야 한다는 점이다.
우선-베이오넷조인트를 풀기위하여 일정한 축방향 운동이 가능해야 한다. 둘째로 이러한 조정나사 영역에서 수동조작을 위하여 충분한 공간이 있을때만이 여과기요소의 축방향 이동을 위한 조정나사의 필요한 회전이 가능하다. 이에 따라서 흡입공기여과기의 이러한 구조는 협소한 장소에 설치애야 할 곳에는 적합하지가 않다.
DE 39 18 347에는 내연기관용 흡입공기 여과기가 공지되어 있는데 이에 의하면 조립 분해시 하우징의 근소한 축방향 이동만이 필요할 뿐이다. 추가로 필터링저그(filtering jug)가 감안되어 크로스헤드에 삽입되고 경사운동으로 홀더부분에 고정시킬 수 있다.
대단히 협소한 장소에서도 여과기 요소의 교환이 가능하다고 하지만 진동 또는 충격을 받으면 하우징이 공진(共振) 상태로 되어 기밀유지에 문제가 발생할 우려가 있다.
본 발명은 주 청구범위의 상위개념에 따르는 내연기관용 공기여과기 특히 흡입공기여과기에 관한 것이다.
도 1은 여과기요소가 조립되어 있는 상태의 공기여과기 단면도이며,
도 2는 개방상태의 공기여과기 옵션형이며,
도 3은 도 2에 도시되어 있는 닫힌상태의 옵션형이다.
이에 따라서 본 발명에서 상기 단점을 배제하고 자유공간이 협소하고 공간요소가 미미한 경우에도 확실한 입자분리를 보장하는 조밀한 여과기 구조를 창안하기 위한 과제를 기반으로 하고 있다.
본 과제는 주 청구범위의 상위개념을 기반으로 하는 제 특징에 의하여 해결된다.
본 발명의 주요 장점은 일반적으로 직사각형 요소이며 조립분해시 비교적 큰 공간을 요하는 여과기요소가 선회운동으로 하우징 안에 삽입이 가능하며 조립분해시 최소한의 공간만이 요하도록 구상하는데 있다.
여과기 유니트(unit)를 지지요소와 여과기 요소로 구성하는 것이 실용적이다. 이에 따라서 일반적으로 지그재그형으로 절첩되어 있는 여과지와 패킹으로 구성되어 있는 여과기요소는 지지요소를 여러번 사용하는 동안에도 문제없이 빼낼수 있도록 되어 있다.
본 발명의 형태에 의하면 하우징에는 슬라이딩 가이드를 가진 지지요소로 되어 있다. 이러한 슬라이딩가이드는 동시에 여과기 유니트의 선회점(pivotal point)이며 예컨대 여과기 유니트의 회전축을 잡아주는 일종의 홈(groove) 이다.
본 발명의 또한가지 유리한 형태에서 감안된 것은 하우징에 선회 가능한 커버를 부착하는 것이다. 이러한 커버는 하우징의 유입공기실을 차단하여 불순물 또는 외부공기의 유입을 저지시켜준다.
옵션형태에서 커버가 직접 여과기 유니트와 결합 가능하다. 이에 따라서 부품비용이 보다 현저히 절감되며 여과기유니트 또는 여과기요소의 분해와 조립이 보다 간편하게 된다.
개발에 따라 커버 또는 여과기유니트는 로커(locker) 또는 스냅조인트(snap joint)를 써서 하우징에 대하여 확실하고 간단한 조작에 의한 결합을 가능토록 한다.
이미 언급한 바와같이 여과기요소는 지그재그형 접철 여과재 지류여과재 또는 섬유재로 되어 있으며 고비용의 구조가 불필요하며 주위의 패킹만이 여과기요소에 감안되어 있다.
본 발명의 이들 및 우선적 개발형의 기타 특징들은 제청구항 외에 명세서와 도면에서도 유추할수 있으며 이때 본 발명의 유형과 타분야에서 각기 단독 또는 다수의 종속결합 형태의 개별 특징들이 형성되고 또한 여기에서 보호청구된 보호를 받을 수 있는 유형으로 유리하게 표현될 수 있다.
본 발명은 다음의 유형에 의하여 설명된다 : 도면들의 내용은 다음과 같다 :
도 1에 따르는 공기여과기는 외기흡입구(11)와 정화공기 유출구(12)를 가진 하우징(10)으로 되어 있다. 상부에 하우징(10)은 개구(13)를 가지고 있는데 커버(20)로 덮혀 있다. 하우징 내에는 패킹면(14)을 가진 지지요소(16)가 들어 있다. 이러한 패킹면(14)은 여과기유니트(17)에 있는 패킹요소(15)와 접한다. 여과기유니트(17)는 지지요소(18)와 여과기요소(19)로 되어 있다. 여과기유니트(17)는 하단에서 축(21)으로 되어 있어서 하우징(10)에서 축베어링(22)과 더불어 선회힌지를 형성하고 있다. 외기유입구에 의하여 유입된 공기는 화살표(9)에 따라 여과기요소(19)를 통과하여 정화되어 순수공기유출구(12)를 거쳐서 도시되어 있는 공기여과기를 떠난다. 공기여과기는 특히 내연기관의 흡입공기를 위하여 사용되며 적절한 방식으로 차량의 엔진실 또는 내연기관에 직접 인접하여 있다. 여과기요소(19)를 교환하기 위하여 로커(locker) 또는 스냅조인트(23)에 의하여 하우징과 결합되어 있는 커버(20)를 연다음 연이어 여과기유니트(17)에 끼워진 크립(clip)(40)을 풀고 여과기유니트(17)를 좌측의 일점쇄선 위치로 회전시켜서 상방으로 빼낸다. 패킹요소(15)를 지지요소(16)에서 제거하여 여과기요소(19)를 빼내거나 또는 삽입할때 하등의 전단하중이 발생하지 않도록 선회운동이 필요하다.
새 여과기유니트가 패킹면(14)를 따라 밀려들어가지 않도록 림(rim)(24)이 설치되어 있다. 이 림은 여과기유니트(17)가 하부에 있을때 즉 축(21)이 이미 축베어링(22)과 접할때에야 비로소 패킹요소(15)로 하여금 패킹면(14)에 접하도록 허용한다.
도 2는 공기여과기의 한가지 옵션을 도시하고 있으며 이에 의하면 커버(25)가 이미 여과기유니트(26)와 결합되어 있다. 이것의 장점은 커버를 열을때 동시에 여과기유니트(26)가 선회되고 연이어서 빼내기만 하면 된다. 여과기 유니트(26)는 하우지(27) 내에서 외기흡입구(28)와 함께 배설되어 있다. 하우징의 정화공기영역에는 패킹면(31)이 있다. 하우징은 슬라이딩가이드(32)를 구비하고 있다. 여과유니트(26)는 상부로부터 그의 베어링요소(33)로 슬라이딩가이드(32)로 밀려들어 간다음 단부위치 즉 그 위치로 선회되고 여기에서 패킹요소(34)가 패킹면(31)에 접하게 된다. 패킹요소(34)와 여과기요소(35)는 한 유니트를 형성하며 여과기유니트(26)로 부터 취할 수 있게 된다.
도 3은 도 2에 도시되어 있는 공기여과기의 닫힌 상태를 보여주고 있다. 동일한 부품들은 동일한 참조부호로 표시하였다. 커버(25)는 멈춤고리(36)에 의하여 하우징의 홈(37)에 물려 있다. 하우징에 커버를 쒸우는것은 로커결합이나 또는 여기에 도시되어 있는 바와같이 스프링크립(38)에 의한다. 커버의 좌단부와 여기에 도시되어 있지 않은 양측에서 이것은 주위를 둘러싸고 있는 하우징의 패킹(39)과 접함으로서 불순한 공기의 유입을 막고자 외기실을 닫는다. 여과기 요소(35)는 여과기유니트(26)의 삽입 부품의 형태를 취하며 문제없이 교환이 가능하다.
내연기관의 공기흡입 여과기로서 적합하다.

Claims (6)

  1. 하우징(10)은 외기유입구(11)와 정화공기출구(12)를 가지며 또한 여과기유니트(17)의 삽입을 위한 개방구(13)을 가지며 여과기유니트(17)는 지지요소(18)와 여과기요소(19)로 되어 있어서 패킹요소(15)의 개입에 의하여 패킹면(14)에 접할 수 있으며 공기여과기 특히 하우징(10)내에 들어 있는 여과기유니트(17)를 가진 내연기관의 흡입공기용 공기여과기에 있어서,
    하우징(10)은 여과기유니트(17)의 지지요소(16)를 가지며 여과기유니트는 지지요소(16)에 대하여 회전운동을 할수 있으며 이때 여과기유니트(17)는 지지요소(16) 주위로 회전운동을 하여 최종위치에 도달하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공기여과기.
  2. 제 1항에 있어서,
    지지요소는 여과기유니트의 선회축(21)을 지지하는 축베어링(22)인 것을 특징으로 하는 여과기.
  3. 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서,
    하우징(10)은 선회커버(20)을 가지고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 여과기.
  4. 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서,
    여과기유니트(26)는 커버(25)를 가지며 하우징(27)을 밀폐시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 여과기.
  5. 전항들중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서,
    여과기유니트(26) 및/또는 커버(25)는 로커 또는 스냅조인트(38)로 결합되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 여과기.
  6. 전항들중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서,
    여과기요소(35)는 지그재그형 절접판 여과기이며 주위를 감싸고 있는 패킹(34)을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 여과기.
