패널형 음향 복사 요소들을 포함하는 라우드스피커를 구비하는 여객수단
본 발명은 여객수단에 관한 것으로, 특히 패널형 음향 방사 소자를 구비하는 라우드스피커를 포함하는 여객수단에 관한 것이다.
공지의 영국 특허 공보 GB-A-2262861에 개시된 패널형의 라우드스피커는,
관통성의 셀룰러 구조인 공간 코아가 있는 2 종류의 표피부 재료로 형성된 단일 샌드위치형 패널인 공진성 멀티-모드 라디에이터 소자와,
진동 감쇠가 없는 자유로운 방식으로 상기 패널을 지지하거나 자체에 지지체가 부착된 탑재 수단과,
라우드스피커용의 동작 주파수대에서 전기적 입력에 응답하여 상기 라디에이터 패널내에 멀티-모드식 공진을 촉발시키는 역활을 하는 패널에 결합된 전기-기계식 구동 수단을 구비하며,
상기 패널은, 모든 방향에 대하여, 단위 표면적당 패널 매스의 큐브 전력에 대한 휨 강성(B) 비가 적어도 10이 되도록 되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 패널형의 라우드스피커를 개시한다.
본 발명은 여객수단에 관련되고, 더 상세하게는 패널형 음향 복사 요소들을 포함하는 라우드스피커를 구비하는 여객수단에 관한 것이다.
본 발명은 첨부된 도면을 예를 들어 도식적으로 설명한다.

본 발명의 실시예는 자연의 부재를 사용하며, 그 구조 및 구성은 일반적으로 또는 특별히 본 건과 동일 날짜로 출원되어 계류중인 당사의 PCT 출원(당사 사건번호 P.5711)의 발명을 사용하여 획득할 수 있다. 따라서, 이러한 부재는 부재의 에지부로는 가끔씩만 연장되고, 사실상 두께 방향으로 가로지르며 연장되어 있는 동작 영역내에 벤딩파(bending wave)로 입력되는 진동 에너지에 대한 내구력과 전달 능력이 있으며; 주위의 공기와 결합되는 음향에 유익한 역활을 하는 상기 영역 전체에 분포된 공진 모드 진동 성분을 포함하도록 이방성 휨 강성과 무관하도록 구성되고; 상기 영역내에 음향 진동 활동 및 이러한 진동 활동인 음향 정보에 대응하는 신호(일반적으로 전기 신호)에 관련되어 효과가 발생되는 트랜스듀서 수단, 특히 동작적으로 이 트랜스듀서의 활성부 또는 이동부,을 위하여 상기 영역내에 기결정되어 선택되는 위치 또는 자리를 갖게 된다. 본 건과 동일 날짜로 출원되어 계류중인 당사의 PCT 출원(당사 파일 P.5711)에는 트랜스듀서 수단을 갖추지 않은 수동 음향 소자(예를 들면 반향용, 또는 음향 여과용, 또는 음향학적으로 공간 또는 실내에 음성을 전달시키는 소자)로써 또는 수동 음향 소자내에 이러한 부재의 사용예가 개시되어 있으며; 트랜스듀서 수단을 갖춘 능동 음향 소자(예를 들면 매우 넓은 범위의 음원 또는 입력 신호가 공급되면 이를 소리로 변환시키는 라우드스피커, 또는 소리를 다른 신호로 변환시키는 마이크로폰)로써 또는 능동 음향 소자내에 이러한 부재의 사용예가 개시되어 있다.
본 발명은 특히 자동차, 비행기, 배, 철도 따위 같은 여객수단에서 사용하기 위한 라우드스피커 형태의 능동 음향 소자들에 관한 것이다.
상기 소자들은 이하에서 분산 모드 음향 라디에이터로 지칭되며, 상기 PCT 출원에서와 같은 특성을 가질 수 있으며, 만약 그렇지 않으면 본 명세서에서 특별히 그 의미를 제공할 것이다.
본 발명은 승객 구역(passenger compartment)에서 분산 모드 음향 라디에이터와 라디에이터 위에 전체적으로 그리고 전면적으로 라디에이터를 진동시켜 라디에이터를 공진시키기 위하여 부착된 트랜스듀서를 포함하는 라우드스피커에 의해 특징지워지는 승객 구역을 갖는 여객수단에 관한 것이다. 라디에이터는 여객수단에서 조수석에 있을 수 있고, 또는 승객 구역으로 들어가는 문에 있을 수 있다. 라디에이터는 승객구역 내부 어딘가에 있을 수 있다.
여객수단은 승객 구역을 형성하는 플라스틱으로 성형된 컴포넌트를 포함하고, 라디에이터는 상기 컴포넌트를 구성하는 구성 요소릴 수 있다.
라디에이터는 표피 사이에 끼워진 셀룰러 코아를 갖는 견고한 경량의 판넬을 포함하고, 그 중에 표피의 하나는 플라스틱으로 성형된 컴포넌트로 되어 있다. 상기 하나의 표피는 컴포넌트의 평균 벽 두께에 비하여 얇다. 상기 하나의 표피는 컴포넌트에서 라디에이터용 탄력있는 서스펜션의 윤곽을 명확하게 하는 그루브에 의해 둘러 싸여 있다.
한편, 본 발명은 분산 모드 음향 라디에이터와 라디에이터 위에 전체적으로 그리고 전면적으로 부착되어 라디에이터를 진동시켜 라디에이터를 공진시키기 위한 트랜스듀서를 갖는 라우드스피커를 포함하는 여객수단용 컴포넌트에 관한 것이다.
도면들중에 도 1 을 참조하면, 같은 날짜에 이것과 함께 당사에서 상호 출원중인 국제 출원번호(당사 사건 번호 P.5711)에서 묘사되고 주장된 종류인 분산 모드 사운드 방사 패널(2)을 지지하는 직사각형의 뼈대의 내부 주변을 둘러싸는 탄력성있는 서스펜션(3)을 갖는 직사각형의 프레임(1)을 포함하는 패널형 라우드스피커(81)를 나타낸다.
트랜스듀서(9)는 예를 들여 같은 날짜에 이것과 함께 당사에서 상호 출원중인 국제 출원번호(당사 사건 번호 P.5683/4/5)에 관하여 상세하게 서술된 것처럼 음향 출력을 방사하도록 패널을 공진되도록 유도하여 벤딩파를 패널로 발진시키기 위하여 같은 날짜에 이것과 함께 당사에서 상호 출원중인 국제 출원번호(당사 사건 번호 P.5711)에 서술된 것처럼 계산되어진 치수 x와 y로 정의되는 패널(2)의 예정된 위치에 전체적으로 그리고 전면적으로 부착되어 있다.
트렌스듀서(9)는 전체적으로 그리고 전면적으로 패널(2)위에 부착되어 있다.
트랜스듀서(9)는 도전체(28)에 의해 트랜스듀서에 연결된 신호증폭기(10), 예를 들면 오디오 증폭기에 의해 구동된다. 증폭기 부하량과 필요 전력은 종래의 원뿔형 스피커와 유사하게, 완전히 표준상태일 수 있으며, 민감도는 실내 부하 상태에서 86-88dB/watt이다. 증폭기 부하 임피던스는 보통 그 저항이 6 옴이며, 처리 전력은 20-80 와트이다. 패널 코아 및/또는 표피부가 금속인 경우에, 이들은 열을 흡수하는 역할을 하게 되며, 따라서 트랜스듀서는 트랜스듀서의 모터 코일로부터 발생되는 열을 제거할 수 있기 때문에 처리 전력이 개선된다.
도 2a 및 도 2b 는 도 1 에 도시된 라우드스피커(81)의 부분 단면도이다. 도 2a 에 있어서, 프레임(1)과 서스펜션(3) 및 패널(2)은 각각 접착성 결합의 조인트부(20)에 의해 서로 연결되어 있다. 프레임에 적당한 물질은 무게가 가벼운 프레이밍, 예를 들어 알루미늄 합금같은 압출 금속 또는 플라스틱으로된 화상 프레이밍이 있다. 적당한 서스펜션 재료로는 기포 고무와 발포 플라스틱과 같은 탄성재료가 사용된다. 조인트부(20)에 사용되는 적당한 접착제로는 에폭시, 아크릴 및 시아노아크릴레이트 등의 접착물을 포함한다.
도 2b 에 확대 도시된 것처럼, 패널(2)은 교차 결합된 폴리비닐클로라이드와같은 단단한 플라스틱 기포(97)가 있는 코아(22); 또는 셀룰라 매트릭스(98) 즉, 금속호일, 플라스틱 등과 같은 벌집형 매트릭스의 코아(22)를 갖는 단단한 경량성 패널이며, 상기 셀은 패널의 평면을 가로지르며 연장되고, 페이퍼, 카드, 플라스틱, 또는 금속호일 또는 시트(sheet) 등으로 이루어진 대향 표피부(21)로 감싸여진다. 표피부가 플라스틱으로 만들어진 경우에, 그 자체의 모듈루스(modulus) 를 증가시키기 위하여 공지된 방법에 의하여 표피부는 탄소, 유리, 케블라(RTM)등과 같은 섬유로써 보강된다.
바람직한 표피층 재료와 이러한 보강재로는 탄소; 유리; 케블라(RTM); 다양한 조직으로 짜여진 아라미드성 섬유인 노멕스(Nomex : RTM) 외에도 페이퍼; 본딩 페이퍼 라미네이트; 멜라민; 및 밀라(Mylar : RTM), 캡탄(Kaptan : RTM), 폴리카보네이트, 페놀릭, 폴리에스테르 또는 관련 플라스틱과 섬유로 보강된 플라스틱 등과 같이 모듈루스가 높은 합성 플라스틱 필름; 및 금속 시트 또는 호일이 사용된다. 벡트라(Vectra) 등급의 액정 폴리머 열경화성 재료를 조사 연구하여 보면, 이들 재료를 사용하여 직경 30 ㎝ 의 둘레까지, 초박형 표피부 또는 이보다 더 작은 두께의 셀을 형성하기 위한 주입 몰딩이 가능함을 알 수 있다. 이 재료 자체는 주입된 방향으로 방향성 격자 구조를 형성하며, 3 중 에너지를 양호하게 전달하기 위한 바람직한 방향은 구동점으로부터 패널 주변부쪽으로 향한다.
상기 재료와 또 다른 열경화성 재료에 대하여 위와 같은 몰딩을 가하기 위하여, 몰딩 도구는 모터 코일 및 자석 서스펜션 등과 같은 트랜스듀서 부품의 정확한 위치에 대하여 그루브 또는 링과 같은 기록 특징과 위치 특징에 대한 정보를 갖고 있다. 다소 질이 낮은 코아 재료를 부가하게 되면, 표피부 두께가 부분적으로 (예를 들어 트랜스듀서 직경의 150% 까지 소정 면적 또는 고리부) 증가되어 그 면적 부분이 재강화되고 진동 에너지가 유리하게 패널 내부에 연결된다는 이점이 있다는 것을 알 수 있다. 상기 수단에 의하여 기포 재료가 더욱 부드러워짐에 따라서 고주파 응답 특성이 개선된다.
바람직한 코아층 재료로는 인조 벌집 또는 골이 형성되어 있는 알루미늄 합금 시트 또는 호일; 또는 케블라(RTM), 노멕스(RTM), 평평하거나 본딩되어 있는 페이퍼, 및 다양한 합성 플라스틱 필름 이외에도, 발포 또는 기포 플라스틱 또는 펄프 재료와, 적당하게 저밀도인 경우에는 에어로젤 금속도 가능하다. 바람직한 몇몇개의 코아층 재료는 제조시에 이미 사용가능할 정도의 표피층 성질을 나타내며, 그렇지 않은 경우에도 표피층간에 적층없이도 사용할 수 있을 만큼의 충분한 잠재적 견고성을 유지한다. 상표명 "Rohacell", 로 알려진 고성능 셀룰라 코아 재료는 라디에이터 패널로 적합하며 표피부가 없다. 사실상, 본 목적은 소정 목적에 적합하도록 전체적 경량성과 견고성을 갖는 것으로, 특히 코아 및 표피층의 기여도를 최적화하고 이들 코아 및 표피층간을 대체시키는 것을 포함한다.
바람직한 패널 형성을 위하여 금속 및 금속 합금표피부가 사용되며, 또 다른 대체용으로 탄소 섬유 보강재가 사용된다. 이들은 여러 EMC 적용시에 중요한 역활을 하는 실질적인 무선 주파수 스크리닝 성질을 갖출 것이다. 종래의 패널 또는 원추형 스피커는 원래 EMC 스크리닝 능력을 갖추고 있지 않다.
또한, 피에조(piezo) 및 전기 구동식 트랜스듀서의 바람직한 형태는 전자기 복사 또는 스트레이 자장이 무시할 수 있을 정도이어야 한다. 종래의 스피커에서는 자장이 컸기 때문에, 보상을 위한 소정의 역방책이 취하여지지 않은 경우에는 1 미터 거리까지 자장이 영향을 미친다.
적용시에 스크리닝을 유지하는 것이 중요한 경우에는, 소정 DML 패널의 도전부에 전기가 연결될 수 있으며, 전기 도전성 기포 또는 유사한 인터페이스가 에지부 설치용으로 사용될 수 있다.
서스펜션(3)은 패널 에지부가 심하게 움직이는 것을 방지하여 패널(2) 에지부의 진동을 감쇠시킨다. 추가용 또는 대체용으로, 또 다른 진동 감쇠재, 예를 들어 패치(patch), 를 패널의 선택된 위치의 본딩시켜 과도한 움직임을 감쇠시키고 공진 현상을 패널 전체에 대하여 균일하게 분산시킬 수 있다. 상기 패치는 통상 종래의 라우드스피커의 외관부로 사용되던 역청기(bitumen-based) 재료로 만들어지거나, 탄력있는 또한 단단한 폴리메릭 시트 재료로 만들어진다. 몇몇 재료, 특히 페이퍼와 카드 및 소정의 코아는 자체적으로 진동을 감쇠시킨다. 필요에 따라서는, 패널 구성시에 접착제로 단단하게 고정시키는 것 보다 탄력성있게 고정시키는 방식을 채택함으로써 진동 감쇠를 증대시킬 수 있다.
선택 가능한 상기 진동 감쇠재는 패널의 시트 재료에 영구적으로 결합되어 특별히 적용할 수도 있다. 에지부와 코너부에서는 패널의 저주파수 진동 모드가 다소 적게 분산된다는 점에서 특히 중요하다. 진동 감쇠재를 에지방향으로 고정시킴으로써, (비록, 그 코너부는 자주 상대적으로 자유로울 수 있지만, 즉, 저주파 동작시에 조금 늘어날 수 있지만) 완전히 프레임된 시트 재료를 갖춘 패널쪽에 유리하게 인도 할 수 있다. 접착성 또는 자체-접착성 재료에 의하여 접착이 가능하다. 상기 영역중 중간정도의 일부 위치에, 시트 재료에 부착된 소정의 매스(mass) 또는 매스들에 의하여, 다른 형태의 유용한 진동 감쇠, 특히 다소 예민한 효과 및/또는 중간 주파수 및 고주파수에 의한 감쇠가 가능하다.
전술한 음향 패널은 양방향성이다. 후면으로부터의 소리 에너지의 위상은 전면으로부터의 소리 에너지의 위상과 큰 연관성이 없다. 결과적으로, 실내에서의 음향 전력과, 균일하게 분포된 주파수의 소리 에너지와, 감소된 반사파 및 정재파 효과를 전체적으로 합쳐 평가하여 보면 유리한 점이 있으며, 재생된 소리 기록으로부터 자연 공간과 분위기를 우수하게 재생할 수 있는 이점이 있다.
음향 패널로부터의 방사는 보통 무방향성이지만, 정보와 관련된 위상의 비율은 축으로부터 멀어질수록 증가한다. 팬텀 스테레오 이미지의 수렴을 개선시키기 위하여, 화상에서와 같이 사람이 서있는 정도의 높이에 스피커를 배치하여, 스테레오 효과가 최적인 곳에 보통 자리잡게 되는 청취자에게 축으로부터 적당한 거리만큼 떨어져서 위치를 잡을 수 있도록 하는 이점을 제공한다. 이와 유사하게, 청취자를 기준으로 삼각하여 형태로 좌우에 배치하는 구조는 또 다른 각도 성분을 제공한다. 따라서, 우수한 스테레오를 얻을 수 있다.
종래의 스피커 재생산과 비교하여보면 청취자들에게는 또 다른 장점이 있다. 음향 패널 소리방사는 본래 분산 성질이 있기 때문에 동일점원으로부터 일정하게 떨어진 거리에 대하여 역제곱법칙을 따르지 않는 소리 볼륨을 가진다. 거리에 따른 강도의 하강은 역제곱법칙에 의하여 예측되는 것 보다 훨씬 작기 때문에, 결과적으로 중앙으로부터 멀리 떨어져 있으며 좋지 않은 장소에 위치한 청취자에게 있어서, 패널 스피커의 강도 필드는 종래의 스피커와 비교하여보면 더 우수한 스테레오 효과를 나타낸다. 왜냐하면, 중앙으로부터 멀리 떨어져 있는 청취자는 스피커에 근접함으로써 초래되는 이중 문제점; 첫째로, 근접한 스피커로부터의 큰소리가 과도하게 증가하는 것과, 그 다음, 추가적인 라우드스피커로부터의 큰소리가 그에 대응하여 감소한다는 것; 으로부터 벗어날 수 있기 때문이다.
또한, 평탄하고 경량인 패널형 스피커이고, 눈으로 보기에 호감을 주며, 음질이 우수하며, 단지 한개의 트랜스듀서만을 필요로 하고, 각 패널 다이아프램으로부터의 전체 범위 소리에 대하여 크로스 오버 현상이 없다는 장점이 있다.
도 3 과 도 4 에 라우드스피커(81)가 구비된 뒤판(203)을 갖는 좌석(103)의 줄을 갖는 여객수단 예를 들어, 비행기, 객차, 버스 또는 페리,의 객실이 도시되어 있다. 종래의 좌석 뒤판(203)고 마찬가지로 셸(shell)은 적당한 플라스틱 물질로 만들어진다.
도 4 에 더 상세하게 도시된 것처럼, 만들어진 좌석(103)의 뒤판(203)은 그루브(100)에 의해 윤곽이 명확하게 드러난 직사각형의 비교적 얇은 영역(2)으로 형성되어 있다.
이러한 얇은 영역(2)은 상기 기술된 종류의 견고한 경량의 멀티-모드 라디에이터 패널(2)을 형성하기 위한 내부 표피에 의해 예를 들어 도 1 및 도 2 를 참고하여, 경량의 셀룰러 코아(22) 안쪽면을 보강한다.
그루브(100)는 효과적으로 탄력있는 서스펜션(3)의 윤곽을 명확하게 하고, 서스펜션 둘레의 좌석 뒷판(203)은 프레임(1)을 형성한다. 트랜스듀서(9), 예를 들어 출원되어 계류중인 당사의 PCT출원(당사 파일 P.5683/4/5)에 상세하게 서술되어 있는 종류의 트랜스듀서는 패널을 공진시켜 음향 출력을 생산시키기 위해 각각의 패널(2)에 귀속된다.
도 5 는 주조되거나 압축된 도어 라이닝(104)의 포켓(141)에 부착되어 있는 종래의 원추형 피스토닉 라우드스피커 드라이브 유니트(42)를 구비하는 종래의 자가용 승용차 도어(140)를 도시한다. 상기 드라이브 유니트(42)에 의해 방사되는 소리는 보통 자동차에 타고 있는 사람의 발이 있는 쪽으로 향하게 되고, 상기와 같은 현상은 종래의 라우드스피커 드라이브 유니트의 방향성에 의해 더 악화된다.
도 6 은 본 발명에 따른 라우드스피커(81)를 구비하는 포켓(141)을 갖는 도어 라이닝(104)을 포함하는 자동차 도어(140)를 도시한다.

트랜스듀서(9) 예를 들어 출원되어 계류중인 당사의 PCT출원(당사 파일 P.5683/4/5)에 상세하게 서술되어 있는 종류의 트랜스듀서는 음향 출력을 생산시키기 위해 패널을 공진시켜 패널으로 벤딩파를 발진시켜 패널에 귀속시킨다. 본 발명의 라우드스피커에 의해 생산된 소리의 폭넓은 분산은 여객수단을 이용하는 사람들을 위해 소리가 분산되는 것을 방해하는 지점이 거의 제거된 향상된 음장(sound field)를 제공할 것이다.
도 8 및 도 9 는 자동차 뒤쪽의 선반(105)에 라우드스피커(81)가 구비되는 자동차(106)를 나타낸다. 상기 선반은 입체음향의 한 쌍의 라우드스피커를 만들기 위하여 세로로 구조상 리브(43)를 사용하여 두 개의 영역으로 나뉘어지는 것을 알 수 있다. 그렇지않으면 라우드스피커의 형태는 도 6 및 도 7 에서 도시된 것과 같다.

Claims (10)

  1. 승객구역과 상기 승객구역에서 라우드스피커를 구비하는 여객수단에 있어서,
    상기 라우드스피커는 분산모드 음향 라디에이터와 라디에이터 위에 전체적으로 그리고 전면적으로 라디에이터를 진동시켜 라디에이터를 공진시키기 위하여 부착된 트랜스듀서를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 여객수단.
  2. 제 1 항에 있어서,
    상기 승객구역의 전체 또는 구성하는 부분에 있어서 주조된 컴포넌트에 의해 특징지워지고, 상기 라디에이터는 상기 컴포넌트를 구성하는 여객수단.
  3. 제 2 항에 있어서,
    상기 라디에이터는 표피들 사이에 끼워진 셀룰러 코아를 갖는 견고한 경량의 패널을 구비하고, 상기 표피들 중의 하나는 상기 주조된 컴포넌트로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 여객수단.
  4. 제 3 항에 있어서,
    상기 하나의 표피는 상기 컴포넌트의 평균 벽두께에 비해 얇은 것을 특징으로 하는 여객수단.
  5. 제 2 항 내지 제 4 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
    상기 하나의 표피는 컴포넌트에 있어서 라디에이터용 탄력있는 서스펜션의 윤곽을 명확히 하는 그루브에 의해 둘러 싸여 있는 여객수단.
  6. 제 5 항에 있어서,
    상기 그루브은 서스펜션의 유연성을 증가시키기 위해 패여져있는 것을 특징으로 하는 여객수단.
  7. 제 1 항 내지 제 6 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
    여객수단에서 상기 라디에이터는 조수석을 이루는 구성 요소인 것을 특징으로 하는 여객수단.
  8. 제 1 항 내지 제 6 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
    상기 라디에이터는 승객구역의 안으로 들어가는 도어를 이루는 구성 요소인 것을 특징으로 하는 여객수단.
  9. 제 1 항 내지 제 6 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
    상기 라디에이터는 승객구역 내부를 이루는 구성 요소인 것을 특징으로 하는 여객수단.
  10. 분산 모드 음향 라디에이터와 라디에이터를 진동시켜 라디에이터를 공진시키기 위해 라디에이터 위에 부착된 진동 트랜스듀서에 의해 특징지워지는 라우드스피커를 구비하는 여객수단용 컴포넌트.
