Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. (i)式 (式中、(1)Mがカリウムである時にはR1は平均してC10〜C22、好まし くはC14〜C16アルキルであり、Rは平均してC1〜C8アルキル、好ましくはメ チルであり、nは1であり;または(2)Mがマグネシウムである時にはR1は 平均してC14〜C22、好ましくはC14〜C16アルキルであり、Rは平均してC1 〜C8アルキル、好ましくはメチルであり、nは2である)のアルキルエステル スルホネート界面活性剤;および (ii)有機および無機硫酸塩、α−スルホ脂肪酸二塩、石鹸、および暗色不純 物を含めて、前記アルキルエステルスルホネート界面活性剤の製造時に生成する 不純物 を含む) からなるアルキルエステルスルホネート界面活性剤組成物を改良する方法であ って、 (1)(a)前記アルキルエステルスルホネート界面活性剤組成物;および (b)前記不純物を実質上可溶化するのに十分な量の水(好ましくは混 合物中の水対アルキルエステルスルホネート界面活性剤組成物の重量比は10: 1から5:1である)を含む混合物を調製し; (2)前記アルキルエステルスルホネート界面活性剤を前記混合物から分離す ることを特徴とする、アルキルエステルスルホネート界面活性剤組成物の改良法 。 2. 工程(i)は、前記混合物の温度が4℃〜43.3℃であるように前記 水を加え、これによって溶存不純物および実質上未溶解エステルスルホネート界 面活性剤を含む不均一な混合物を調製することからなる、請求項1に記載の方法 。 3. 工程(i)は、前記混合物の温度が43.3℃〜82.2℃であるよう に前記水を加え、これによって溶存不純物および実質上溶存エステルスルホネー ト界面活性剤を含む均一な混合物を調製することからなる、前の請求項のいずれ か1項に記載の方法。 4. 工程(2)が、前記エステルスルホネート界面活性剤を工程(1)の前 記混合物から沈殿した後、前記界面活性剤の遠心分離または濾過またはそれらの 組み合わせを施すか、洗浄との組み合わせで施すことからなる、前の請求項のい ずれか1項に記載の方法。 5. (3)前記アルキルエステルスルホネート界面活性剤を回収し、好まし くは前記界面活性剤に残る水を蒸発し、前記界面活性剤を他の洗剤成分で凝集し て洗剤粒状物を調製し、またはそれらの組み合わせを施すことを更に含む、前の 請求項のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 6. 工程(2)および(3)を同時に行う、前の請求項のいずれか1項に記 載の方法。 7. 前記アルキルエステルスルホネート界面活性剤が、エステルスルホン酸 を水性媒体または低級アルコールの実質上無水媒体中で式(R2O-)Mn+(式中 、R2はHまたはC1〜C8アルキルである)のアルコキシドで中和することによ って得られる、前の請求項のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 8. 前記アルキルエステルスルホネート界面活性剤が、エステルスルホン酸 をC1〜C8アルコール3〜20重量%と反応させた後、前記エステルスルホン酸 を水性媒体または低級アルコールの実質上無水媒体中で式(R2O-)Mn+(式中 、R2はHまたはC1〜C8アルキルである)のアルコキシドで中和する ことによって得られる、前の請求項のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 9. 前記界面活性剤組成物が、工程(1)における水対アルコールの重量比 が30:1より大きいような量のC1〜C8アルコールを更に含む、前の請求項の いずれか1項に記載の方法。 10. 前記スルホン酸が、ヨウ素価0.5未満を有する脂肪酸エステルをス ルホン化することによって得られる、前の請求項のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
