Claims (2)
- 相手側端子に対して電気的に接続される端子接続部、及び、内壁面側に載置された電線の端部に対して圧着加工によって電気的に接続される電線接続部を有する端子金具と、
前記圧着加工の実施前に前記電線接続部の前記内壁面に貼付され、前記圧着加工の完了後に、前記電線の先端における芯線の先端位置よりも前記端子接続部側からの前記電線接続部と前記芯線との間への水の浸入の抑制が可能な止水領域を形成する止水部材と、
を備え、
前記電線接続部は、前記圧着加工の際に、第1及び第2のバレル片部を前記電線の端部に各々巻き付けることによって、前記電線の先端の芯線に圧着される芯線圧着部を有し、
前記芯線圧着部の前記内壁面は、載置された前記芯線の先端位置よりも前記端子接続部側に、前記圧着加工に伴い軸線方向へと伸びる前記芯線の先端位置を係止させる突出部を有し、
前記止水部材は、前記突出部の頂面に貼付し、
前記芯線圧着部の前記内壁面は、前記芯線の先端位置と前記突出部との間に、貼付された前記止水部材の一部が充填される溝部を有し、
前記止水部材における前記突出部の頂面から前記溝部に至るまでの間と前記溝部の内部に充填された前記止水部材とは、前記圧着加工の完了後に前記止水領域の構成要素の一部となることを特徴とした圧着端子。 - 前記第1バレル片部と前記第2バレル片部は、その内の何れか一方の外壁面と他方の前記内壁面とが重なり合うオーバラップ領域を有し、
前記突出部は、前記オーバラップ領域から外れた位置に配置することを特徴とした請求項1に記載の圧着端子。
