Claims (4)
- 相手側端子に対して電気的に接続される端子接続部、内壁面側に載置された電線の端部に対して圧着加工によって電気的に接続される電線接続部、及び、前記端子接続部と前記電線接続部とを連結させる連結部を有し、前記電線接続部が、前記圧着加工の際に前記電線の端部が載置される底部、前記底部の一端から延在させ、前記電線の端部に巻き付ける内側の第1バレル片部、及び、前記底部の他端から前記第1バレル片部よりも長く延在させ、前記電線の端部と前記第1バレル片部に巻き付ける外側の第2バレル片部に区画され、かつ、前記電線の先端の芯線に圧着させる芯線圧着部、前記電線の被覆に圧着させる被覆圧着部、及び、前記芯線圧着部と前記被覆圧着部とを連結させると共に前記電線の端部に圧着させる連結圧着部に区画された端子金具と、
前記圧着加工の実施前に前記電線接続部の前記内壁面に貼付され、前記圧着加工の完了後に、前記第1バレル片部の外壁面と前記第2バレル片部の前記内壁面との間からの前記電線接続部と前記芯線との間への水の浸入を抑える第1止水領域、前記芯線の先端位置よりも前記端子接続部側からの前記電線接続部と前記芯線との間への水の浸入を抑える第2止水領域、及び、前記被覆圧着部の前記内壁面と前記被覆との間からの前記電線接続部と前記芯線との間への水の浸入を抑える第3止水領域を形成する止水部材と、
を備え、
前記第2バレル片部の前記内壁面は、前記圧着加工の際に前記第1バレル片部の前記外壁面と摺動可能な領域で且つ前記圧着加工の完了後における前記第1バレル片部の前記外壁面と重なる領域に、前記芯線圧着部と前記被覆圧着部との間に渡って延在させ、かつ、前記圧着加工と共に前記第1バレル片部の前記外壁面によって刮げ取られた前記第2バレル片部の前記内壁面における前記止水部材の一部が擦り残って充填される第1溝部を有し、
前記芯線圧着部の前記内壁面は、前記芯線の先端位置よりも前記端子接続部側に、前記第1バレル片部の延在方向における先端側と前記第2バレル片部の延在方向における先端側との間に渡って延在させると共に、前記第2バレル片部の前記先端側で前記第1溝部に連通させ、かつ、貼付された前記止水部材の一部が充填される第2溝部を有し、
前記被覆圧着部の前記内壁面は、前記第1バレル片部の前記先端側と前記第2バレル片部の前記先端側との間に渡って延在させると共に、前記第2バレル片部の前記先端側で前記第1溝部に連通させ、かつ、貼付された前記止水部材の一部が充填される第3溝部を有し、
前記第1止水領域は、少なくとも前記第1溝部の内部の前記止水部材によって形成し、
前記第2止水領域は、少なくとも前記第2溝部の内部の前記止水部材によって形成し、
前記第3止水領域は、少なくとも前記第3溝部の内部の前記止水部材によって形成することを特徴とした圧着端子。 - 前記芯線圧着部の前記内壁面は、前記芯線の先端位置よりも前記端子接続部側に、その内壁面から突出させ、かつ、前記止水部材が貼付される突出部を有することを特徴とした請求項1に記載の圧着端子。
- 前記第2溝部は、前記芯線の先端位置と前記突出部との間に設けることを特徴とした請求項2に記載の圧着端子。
- 前記第3溝部は、複数本設けることを特徴とした請求項1,2又は3に記載の圧着端子。
