Claims (7)
- 相手側端子に対して電気的に接続される端子接続部と、
内壁面側に載置された電線の端部に対して第1金型と第2金型とに挟まれた圧着加工によって電気的に接続される電線接続部と、
前記端子接続部と前記電線接続部とを連結させる連結部と、
を備え、
前記電線接続部は、前記圧着加工の際に前記第1金型の凹状面に載置され且つ前記電線の端部が載置される底部と、前記底部の一端から延在させ、前記電線の端部に巻き付ける第1バレル片部と、前記底部の他端から延在させ、前記電線の端部に巻き付ける第2バレル片部と、に区画され、
前記底部は、前記電線の先端の芯線が載置される領域に、前記凹状面側の外壁面に形成され且つ前記圧着加工の際に前記凹状面に形成された凸部が挿入される凹部と、前記凹部の形成に伴い形成された前記内壁面の凸部と、を有することを特徴とした圧着端子。 - 前記底部における前記凹部及び前記凸部と前記凹状面の前記凸部は、前記圧着加工によって前記芯線が前記底部の前記凸部を押し潰したとしても、前記底部の前記内壁面から当該底部の前記凸部が突出されているように、それぞれの形状を設定することを特徴とした請求項1に記載の圧着端子。
- 前記凹部は、前記圧着加工に伴い前記凹状面の前記凸部が食い込んで、前記底部の前記凸部を前記芯線側に押し出すことができるように、内部空間の体格を前記凹状面の前記凸部の体格よりも小さく形成することを特徴とした請求項1又は2に記載の圧着端子。
- 前記底部における前記凹部及び前記凸部は、前記芯線を係止する芯線保持領域が前記底部の前記内壁面に形成されている場合、前記芯線保持領域に設けることを特徴とした請求項1,2又は3に記載の圧着端子。
- 圧着端子を電線との圧着位置まで供給する端子供給装置と、
前記圧着位置まで供給された前記圧着端子を第1金型及び第2金型で前記電線の端部に圧着させる圧着装置と、
圧着加工の際に前記第1金型と前記第2金型との間を狭め、前記圧着加工の完了後に前記第1金型と前記第2金型との間を広げる駆動装置と、
を備え、
前記圧着端子は、相手側端子に対して電気的に接続される端子接続部と、内壁面側に載置された前記電線の端部に対して前記圧着加工によって電気的に接続される電線接続部と、前記端子接続部と前記電線接続部とを連結させる連結部と、を有し、
前記電線接続部は、前記圧着加工の際に前記第1金型の凹状面に載置され且つ前記電線の端部が載置される底部と、前記底部の一端から延在させ、前記電線の端部に巻き付ける第1バレル片部と、前記底部の他端から延在させ、前記電線の端部に巻き付ける第2バレル片部と、に区画され、
前記底部は、前記電線の先端の芯線が載置される領域に、前記凹状面側の外壁面に形成され且つ前記圧着加工の際に前記凹状面に形成された凸部が挿入される凹部と、前記凹部の形成に伴い形成された前記内壁面の凸部と、を有することを特徴とした端子圧着装置。 - 前記底部における前記凹部及び前記凸部と前記凹状面の前記凸部は、前記圧着加工によって前記芯線が前記底部の前記凸部を押し潰したとしても、前記底部の前記内壁面から当該底部の前記凸部が突出されているように、それぞれの形状を設定することを特徴とした請求項5に記載の端子圧着装置。
- 前記凹状面の前記凸部は、前記圧着加工に伴い前記凹部に食い込んで、前記底部の前記凸部を前記芯線側に押し出すことができるように、前記凹部の内部空間の体格よりも体格を大きく形成することを特徴とした請求項5又は6に記載の端子圧着装置。
