Description
(1) 長手方向を有するコネクタ端子であり、電線の外被から露出された導体が導通接続されるバレル部と、前記長手方向における前記バレル部より先端側に位置すると共に相手方端子と導通される端子部とを備え、前記バレル部と前記電線との接続箇所が樹脂からなるモールド部によって覆われて止水された金属材料からなるコネクタ端子であって、
前記モールド部の先端側の端面が、前記バレル部における前記導体の先端の位置よりも前記長手方向において先端側に位置し、
前記バレル部における前記長手方向の先端側の一部の所定範囲であって前記モールド部の先端側の端面に対して前記長手方向の先端側の第1位置と前記長手方向の後端側の第2位置との間の所定範囲の側面にのみ、全周に亘って接着剤の層が設けられたこと。
加えて、バレル部におけるモールド部の先端側の縁部との密着箇所に接着材の層が設けられてモールド部の先端側の縁部が確実に密着されているので、モールド部内への水の浸入を確実に防止することができる。
(2) 長手方向を有するコネクタ端子であり、電線の外被から露出された導体が導通接続されるバレル部と、前記長手方向における前記バレル部より先端側に位置すると共に相手方端子と導通される端子部とを備えた金属材料からなるコネクタ端子の止水方法であって、
前記バレル部における前記長手方向の先端側の一部の所定範囲であって前記導体の先端の位置に対して前記長手方向の先端側の第1位置と前記第1の位置より前記長手方向の後端側の第2位置との間の所定範囲の側面にのみ、全周に亘って接着剤を塗布するプライマー塗布工程と、
前記コネクタ端子を金型に配置させて前記バレル部と前記電線との接続箇所の周囲に射出空間を形成し、前記射出空間へ樹脂を注入して前記バレル部と前記電線との接続箇所を樹脂からなるモールド部であってその先端側の端面が前記長手方向における前記第1位置と前記第2位置との間であって前記導体の先端の位置よりも前記長手方向において先端側に位置するモールド部で覆うモールド部成形工程と、
を含むこと。
加えて、バレル部におけるモールド部の先端側の縁部との密着箇所に接着材を塗布して確実に密着させることができ、モールド部内への水の浸入を確実に防止することができる。

Claims (2)
- 長手方向を有するコネクタ端子であり、電線の外被から露出された導体が導通接続されるバレル部と、前記長手方向における前記バレル部より先端側に位置すると共に相手方端子と導通される端子部とを備え、前記バレル部と前記電線との接続箇所が樹脂からなるモールド部によって覆われて止水された金属材料からなるコネクタ端子であって、
前記モールド部の先端側の端面が、前記バレル部における前記導体の先端の位置よりも前記長手方向において先端側に位置し、
前記バレル部における前記長手方向の先端側の一部の所定範囲であって前記モールド部の先端側の端面に対して前記長手方向の先端側の第1位置と前記長手方向の後端側の第2位置との間の所定範囲の側面にのみ、全周に亘って接着剤の層が設けられたことを特徴とするコネクタ端子。 - 長手方向を有するコネクタ端子であり、電線の外被から露出された導体が導通接続されるバレル部と、前記長手方向における前記バレル部より先端側に位置すると共に相手方端子と導通される端子部とを備えた金属材料からなるコネクタ端子の止水方法であって、
前記バレル部における前記長手方向の先端側の一部の所定範囲であって前記導体の先端の位置に対して前記長手方向の先端側の第1位置と前記第1の位置より前記長手方向の後端側の第2位置との間の所定範囲の側面にのみ、全周に亘って接着剤を塗布するプライマー塗布工程と、
前記コネクタ端子を金型に配置させて前記バレル部と前記電線との接続箇所の周囲に射出空間を形成し、前記射出空間へ樹脂を注入して前記バレル部と前記電線との接続箇所を樹脂からなるモールド部であってその先端側の端面が前記長手方向における前記第1位置と前記第2位置との間であって前記導体の先端の位置よりも前記長手方向において先端側に位置するモールド部で覆うモールド部成形工程と、
を含むことを特徴とするコネクタ端子の止水方法。
