ここで、図面、詳細には図1を参照すると、本発明の実施形態の1つによる超音波液体送達装置が、内燃エンジン(図示せず)とともに用いるための超音波燃料噴射器の形で示されており、全体的に21で表示される。しかし、燃料噴射器21に関して本明細書に開示した概念は、他の超音波液体送達装置にも適用可能であり、これら他の超音波液体送達装置には、限定する意味ではないが、ネブライザ及び他の薬物送達装置、鋳造機器、加湿器、塗料スプレーシステム、インク送達システム、混合システム、均質化システム等が含まれることが分かる。

Claims (19)
- 内部チャンバ、液体が前記内部チャンバ内に入るように前記内部チャンバと流体的に連通する入口、及び、前記チャンバ内の液体が前記ハウジングから出るようにするために前記内部チャンバと流体的に連通する出口を有する細長いハウジングと、
少なくとも一部が前記ハウジングの前記内部チャンバ内に配置され、前記液体が前記出口を通って前記ハウジングから排出される前に、前記内部チャンバ内の液体に超音波エネルギーを与える細長い超音波導波管と、
を備え、
前記超音波導波管は、前記入口と前記出口との中間で前記ハウジングの前記内部チャンバ内において前記超音波導波管から外向きに延びる攪拌部材を有し、前記攪拌部材と前記超音波導波管とは、前記超音波導波管が超音波振動されたとき、前記超音波導波管に対して前記攪拌部材が動的運動するように構成及び配列されており
前記超音波導波管及び前記攪拌部材を超音波的に励起するように作動可能な励起装置が備えられ、
前記攪拌部材及び前記超音波導波管が、前記超音波導波管が超音波振動するときの前記超音波導波管の変位に対して、前記攪拌部材の変位を増幅するように構成及び配列されており、
前記超音波導波管が、節領域及び腹領域を有し、前記攪拌部材が、前記腹領域で前記超音波導波管から横方向外向きに延びることを特徴とする超音波液体送達装置。 - 複数の攪拌部材が、前記ハウジングの前記内部チャンバ内で互いに縦方向に間隔を置いて配置された関係で、前記超音波導波管から外向きに延びることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液体送達装置。
- 前記攪拌部材が、前記超音波導波管の周囲に延びるリングを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液体送達装置。
- 前記攪拌部材が、ほぼT形断面を有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の液体送達装置。
- 前記超音波導波管の長さが、少なくとも1/2の波長セグメントであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液体送達装置。
- 前記超音波導波管の長さが、少なくとも3/2の波長セグメントであり、少なくとも1つの攪拌部材が、前記1/2波長セグメントの少なくとも2つから外向きに延びることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の液体送達装置。
- 前記超音波導波管及び前記攪拌部材が、単一部片として形成されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液体送達装置。
- 前記超音波導波管全体が、前記ハウジングの前記内部チャンバ内に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液体送達装置。
- 前記励起装置の少なくとも一部が、前記ハウジングの前記内部チャンバ内に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の液体送達装置。
- 前記超音波導波管を前記ハウジングの前記内部チャンバ内に装着するための少なくとも1つの隔離部材を更に含み、前記少なくとも1つの隔離部材が、前記超音波導波管から前記ハウジングを実質的に振動的に隔離するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液体送達装置。
- 前記少なくとも1つの隔離部材が、装着部材及び/または安定化部材を含むことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の液体送達装置。
- 液体を受け取るための入口、液体が出るときに通る出口、及び、前記入口及び前記出口と流体的に連通して液体の流れを前記入口から前記出口まで導く内部流路を有するハウジングと、
前記ハウジングとは別に形成され、細長く、少なくとも一部が前記流路内に配置され、前記液体が前記出口を通って前記ハウジングを出る前に前記流路内の液体に超音波的にエネルギーを与える、複数の節領域及び複数の腹領域を有する超音波導波管と、
前記超音波導波管の前記腹領域で、前記超音波導波管から全体として外向きに延びる攪拌部材と、
前記超音波導波管及び前記攪拌部材を超音波的に励起するように作動可能な励起装置と、
を含むことを特徴とする超音波液体送達装置。 - 複数の攪拌部材が、前記超音波導波管の前記複数の腹領域で前記超音波導波管からほぼ外向きに延びることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の液体送達装置。
- 前記超音波導波管の腹領域の数が、攪拌部材の数より多いことを特徴とする請求項13に記載の液体送達装置。
- 超音波導波管の腹領域が、攪拌部材より2つ多いことを特徴とする請求項14に記載の液体送達装置。
- 前記励起装置が、前記超音波導波管とともに組立体に保持され、前記複数の腹領域の1つにおいて前記超音波導波管とほぼ直接に接触することを特徴とする請求項12に記載の液体送達装置。
- 前記超音波導波管から前記ハウジングを実質的に振動的に隔離するための隔離部材を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項12に記載の液体送達装置。
- 前記隔離部材が、一般に前記超音波導波管の前記節領域において前記超音波導波管に作動可能に接続されることを特徴とする請求項17に記載の液体送達装置。
- 液体を内部に受け取るための入口、液体が排出されるときに通る出口、及び、前記液体が内部で前記入口から前記出口まで流れるように導くために前記入口及び前記出口と流体的に連通する内部の流路を有する細長いハウジングと、
少なくとも一部が前記流路内に配置され、前記液体が前記出口を通って前記ハウジングを出る前に前記流路内の液体に超音波的にエネルギーを与えるための、少なくとも2つの波長セグメントを有する細長い超音波導波管と、
前記超音波導波管から横方向外向きに延びる複数の攪拌部材と、
を備え、前記攪拌部材と前記超音波導波管とは、前記超音波導波管が超音波振動されたとき前記攪拌部材が前記超音波導波管に対して動的運動するように構成及び配列され、
前記超音波導波管及び前記攪拌部材を超音波的に励起するように作動可能な励起装置が設けられた、
ことを特徴とする超音波液体送達装置。
