「SEIテクニカルレビュー第166号」、住友電気工業発行、2005年3月、P.1〜6
神戸製鋼所製のアトマイズ粉末「アトメル300NH」を日本粉末冶金工業会で規定される「金属粉のふるい分析試験方法」(JPMA P02−1992)に準拠して目開き250μmの篩を用いて篩い分けし、篩を通過した粉末を回収し、これを水素ガス雰囲気中で、970℃で2時間還元した。還元後、解砕したものを、目開き250μmまたは425μmの篩を通した。篩を通過した粉末は95質量%以上であった。
熱処理は、下記表1に示した粉末を、水素ガス雰囲気中で、970℃、2時間熱処理した後、これを解砕する工程を3回繰返して鉄基粉末を得た。3回繰返した後、上記と同じ方法で各種篩を用いて分級して粉末の粒度を調整した。熱処理後における粉末の粒子径を下記表1に示す。
リン酸系化成皮膜は、水を1000部、H3PO4を70部、リン酸ナトリウム[Na3PO4]を270部、硫酸ヒドロキシルアミン[(NH2OH)2H2SO4]を70部、およびリン酸コバルト8水和物[Co3(PO4)2・8H2O]を100部混合したものを原液とし、これを20倍に希釈した処理液50部を、上記粉末1000部に添加して、V型混合機を用いて5〜60分混合した後、大気中で200℃、30分間乾燥し、目開き300μmの篩を通した。リン酸系化成皮膜の膜厚は、約50nmであった。
熱処理条件と結晶粒径と保磁力の関係について調べた。上記実施例1のNo.14において、熱処理の条件を下記表2に示すように変化させる以外は同じ条件とし、D30での結晶粒径を測定した。結果を下記表2に示す。
絶縁皮膜の種類と鉄損の関係について調べた。上記実施例1において、絶縁皮膜の種類を変える以外は、同じ条件で絶縁皮膜が形成された鉄基粉末を得た。絶縁皮膜は、(1)シリコーン樹脂皮膜のみ形成、(2)リン酸系化成皮膜のみ形成、(3)リン酸系化成皮膜の表面に、シリコーン樹脂皮膜を形成、の3種類とした。なお、(3)の積層構造は、上記実施例1と同じである。
○:鉄損が40W/kg以下
△:鉄損が40W/kg超、50W/kg未満
×:鉄損が50W/kg以上
リン酸系化成皮膜の組成と比抵抗の関係について調べた。上記実施例1の表1に示したNo.14において、リン酸系化成皮膜の組成を変えた以外は、上記実施例1と同様にして、鉄基粉末にリン酸系化成皮膜と、シリコーン樹脂皮膜を形成して絶縁処理した。なお、リン酸系化成皮膜を形成する際には、下記に示す組成の原液を用い、リン酸系化成皮膜の組成を変化させた。

No.53で用いた原液…水を1000部、H3PO4を193部、MgOを31部、H3BO3を30部、H3PW12O40・nH2Oを143部
No.54で用いた原液…水を1000部、H3PO4を193部、MgOを31部、H3BO3を30部、SiO2・12WO3・26H2Oを143部
No.55で用いた原液…水を1000部、Na2HPO4を270部、H3PO4を70部、(NH2OH)2H2SO4を70部
No.56で用いた原液…水を1000部、H3PO4を70部、Na3PO4を270部、(NH2OH)2H2SO4を70部、Co3(PO4)2・8H2Oを100部
Claims (6)
- 圧粉磁心用の鉄基粉末であって、
目開き425μmの篩を用いて篩い分けしたときに、該篩を通過しない鉄基粉末が10質量%以下で、
目開き75μmの篩を用いて篩い分けしたときに、該篩を通過しない鉄基粉末が80質量%以上であり、且つ、
少なくとも50個の鉄基粉末断面を観察し、各鉄基粉末について結晶粒径を測定して最大結晶粒径を少なくとも含む結晶粒径分布を求めたときに、測定した結晶粒のうち結晶粒径が50μm以上である結晶粒が70%以上であることを特徴とする圧粉磁心用の鉄基粉末。 - 前記鉄基粉末は、表面に絶縁皮膜が形成されているものである請求項1に記載の鉄基粉末。
- 前記絶縁皮膜が、リン酸系化成皮膜である請求項2に記載の鉄基粉末。
- 前記リン酸系化成皮膜に、Na、S、Si、WおよびCoよりなる群から選択される1種以上の元素が含まれているものである請求項3に記載の鉄基粉末。
- 前記リン酸系化成皮膜の表面に、更にシリコーン樹脂皮膜が形成されているものである請求項3または4に記載の鉄基粉末。
- 請求項2〜5のいずれかに記載の鉄基粉末を成形して得られた圧粉磁心であって、密度が7.5g/cm3以上であることを特徴とする圧粉磁心。
