また、エッチングする工程は、準備する工程により準備された軟磁性粉末の平均粒径に対して、平均粒径が90%以上の値に低減する範囲で、軟磁性粒子の表面を除去する工程を含む。このように構成によれば、軟磁性粒子が元々の平均粒径に対して小さくなりすぎて、形状反磁界の影響が大きくなることを防止でき、また「表面エネルギーによる応力歪み」の影響が増大することを防止できる。これにより、得られる軟磁性粉末の保磁力を小さくすることができる。
まず、実施の形態に記載の製造方法に従って、軟磁性粉末に対してエッチング処理を行なった。この際、軟磁性粒子10としては、純度99.8%以上の水アトマイズ鉄粉(ヘガネス社製の商品名「ABC100.30」)を用いた。また、エッチング処理は、3質量%の濃度の塩化水素水溶液(600cm3)を準備し、その水溶液に200gの軟磁性粉末を投入し、攪拌処理することによって実施した。この際、攪拌時間を10分間から300分間の範囲で変化させ、エッチング条件の異なる複数の軟磁性粉末を作製した。また、比較のため、エッチング処理を実施しない軟磁性粉末も準備した。
本実施例では、実施例1で使用した、エッチング処理を実施しなかった軟磁性粉末と、エッチング処理時の攪拌時間を30分とした軟磁性粉末とに対して、水素気流中、1時間の条件で、熱処理温度を変化させて熱処理を行なった。その後、それぞれの熱処理温度で処理された軟磁性粉末の保磁力を、実施例1と同様の方法により測定した。図9は、この発明の実施例2において、熱処理温度と軟磁性粉末の保磁力との関係を示すグラフである。測定により得られた保磁力の値を表2に示すとともに、図9にその値をプロットして示した。
Claims (7)
- アトマイズ法を用いて、複数の軟磁性粒子を含む軟磁性粉末を準備する工程と、
前記軟磁性粉末をエッチングすることによって、前記軟磁性粒子の表面を除去する工程と、
前記エッチングする工程の後、粉末状の前記軟磁性粉末を400℃以上900℃以下の温度で第1の熱処理をする工程とを備え、
前記エッチングする工程は、前記準備する工程により準備された軟磁性粉末の平均粒径に対して、平均粒径が90%以上の値に低減する範囲で、前記軟磁性粒子の表面を除去する工程を含む、軟磁性材料の製造方法。 - 前記エッチングする工程の後、前記軟磁性粉末は、10μm以上400μm以下の範囲にのみ存在する粒度分布を有する、請求項1に記載の軟磁性材料の製造方法。
- 請求項1または2に記載の軟磁性材料の製造方法を用いて作製された軟磁性粉末であって、
前記準備する工程により準備された軟磁性粉末の保磁力に対して、70%以下の値に低減された保磁力を有する、軟磁性粉末。 - 前記第1の熱処理をする工程の後、前記複数の軟磁性粒子の各々に絶縁被膜を形成する工程と、
前記絶縁被膜が形成された前記複数の軟磁性粒子を加圧成形することによって、成形体を形成する工程とをさらに備える、請求項1または2に記載の軟磁性材料の製造方法。 - 前記成形体を形成する工程の前に、前記軟磁性粉末に有機物を添加する工程をさらに備える、請求項4に記載の軟磁性材料の製造方法。
- 前記成形体を、30℃以上前記絶縁被膜の熱分解温度未満の温度で第2の熱処理をする工程をさらに備える、請求項4または5に記載の軟磁性材料の製造方法。
- 請求項6に記載の軟磁性材料の製造方法を用いて作製され、1.0×102A/m以下の保磁力を有する、圧粉磁心。
