Abstract
【解決手段】テールランプ20は、LED21と、LED21からの光を内部で導光しながら灯具前方に向けて出射する導光体23とを備える。導光体23は、入射端面から入射した光を導光する第1棒状導光部25と、入射した光を導光する第2棒状導光部26と、第1棒状導光部25と第2棒状導光部26との間の領域に形成された板状導光部27とを備える。板状導光部27の端部側面27cは、板状導光部27内を進む光の少なくとも一部を第1棒状導光部25、第2棒状導光部26に向けて全反射するよう構成される。

Claims (6)
- 光源と、前記光源からの光を内部で導光しながら灯具前方に向けて出射する導光体と、を備える車両用灯具であって、
前記導光体は、
入射端面から入射した光を導光する第1棒状導光部と、
入射した光を導光する第2棒状導光部と、
前記第1棒状導光部と前記第2棒状導光部との間の領域に形成された板状導光部と、
を備え、
前記板状導光部の端部側面は、板状導光部内を進む光の少なくとも一部を前記第1棒状導光部および/または前記第2棒状導光部に向けて全反射するよう構成されることを特徴とする車両用灯具。 - 前記端部側面は、前記入射端面側に凹んだ湾曲面に形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用灯具。
- 前記第1棒状導光部の前記入射端面の近傍部分は、湾曲するとともに、入射端面に近づくに従って径が小さくなるよう形成されることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の車両用灯具。
- 前記第1棒状導光部および/または前記第2棒状導光部の側面の一部に平坦面が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の車両用灯具。
- 前記第2棒状導光部は、前記第1棒状導光部から分岐して延びるよう形成されることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の車両用灯具。
- 前記第2棒状導光部は、前記第1棒状導光部と交わらないように配置されることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の車両用灯具。
