Abstract
【解決手段】ペースト式の液式鉛蓄電池であって、極板群の体積Veを下記式(1)により算出し、前記極板群に含まれる正極活物質の総細孔容積Vpと負極活物質の総細孔容積Vnとの合計体積Vp+Vnの、前記極板群の体積Veに対する比(Vp+Vn)/Veが、0.27〜0.32であり、前記正極活物質の総細孔容積Vpの前記極板群の体積Veに対する比Vp/Veが、0.13〜0.15であるようにした。

本発明に係る液式(ベント形)鉛蓄電池は正極活物質又は負極活物質がそれぞれ集電体に担持されてなるペースト式の正極板と負極板とが積層した極板群と、当該極板群が浸漬した流動可能な電解液と、これらが収容された電槽とを備えたものである。なお、本実施形態では格子状の集電体を用い、この集電体を以下格子と記載することとする。
ただし、式(1)中、Spは正極板の極板面積を表し、Snは負極板の極板面積を表し、Dは極板群の極板積層方向における電槽の内寸を表す。
Claims (7)
- 正極活物質又は負極活物質がそれぞれ集電体に担持されてなる正極板と負極板とが積層した極板群と、当該極板群が浸漬した流動可能な電解液と、これらが収容された電槽とを備えた液式鉛蓄電池であって、
前記極板群の体積Veを下記式(1)により算出し、
前記極板群に含まれる正極活物質の総細孔容積Vpと負極活物質の総細孔容積Vnとの合計体積Vp+Vnの、前記極板群の体積Veに対する比(Vp+Vn)/Veが、0.27〜0.32であり、
前記正極活物質の総細孔容積Vpの前記極板群の体積Veに対する比Vp/Veが、0.13〜0.15であることを特徴とする液式鉛蓄電池。

ただし、式(1)中、Spは正極板の極板面積を表し、Snは負極板の極板面積を表し、Dは極板群の極板積層方向における電槽の内寸を表す。 - 前記正極活物質が、アンチモンを0.04〜0.25質量%含有する請求項1記載の液式鉛蓄電池。
- 前記正極活物質は、細孔径が0.1〜1.0μmである細孔容積の全細孔容積に対する割合が45%以上であり、かつ、細孔径が1μm以上である細孔容積の全細孔容積に対する割合が25%以下である請求項1又は2記載の液式鉛蓄電池。
- 前記負極活物質は、全細孔容積が0.12〜0.15cm3/gであり、かつ、細孔径が0.5〜5.0μmである細孔容積の全細孔容積に対する割合が50%以上である請求項1、2又は3記載の液式鉛蓄電池。
- 前記集電体が、打ち抜き集電体である請求項1、2、3又は4記載の液式鉛蓄電池。
- アイドリングストップ車用である請求項1、2、3、4又は5記載の液式鉛蓄電池。
- 請求項1、2、3、4、5又は6記載の液式鉛蓄電池を用いたアイドリングストップ車。
