Claims (10)
- タイヤ用のトレッドであって、前記トレッドは、前記トレッドの幅Wの70%〜80%の幅を有する中央ゾーンを備え、前記中央ゾーンは、1本又は2本以上の円周方向バンド(17)を有し、前記中央ゾーンの各円周方向バンドは、幅が2mm以上の2本の溝で画定され、前記中央ゾーンの各円周方向バンドは、路面に接触するようになった接触面及び円周方向に均等に分布して設けられた複数本の横方向サイプ(19a,19b,19c)を有し、各サイプは、接触面上に、平均円周方向ボイド比を定めるよう2mm未満の幅を有し、前記平均円周方向ボイド比は、前記円周方向バンドの平均厚さ(E)と前記円周方向バンドの平均円周方向曲率半径(Rc)の比の0.5倍〜1.5倍であり、前記サイプは、前記円周方向バンドを一連のブロック(21a,21b,21c)に分割し、各ブロックは、前記円周方向バンドの前記接触面と交差する2つのエッジコーナー部(22a,22b,22c,24)を有する、トレッドにおいて、前記円周方向バンドの各ブロックに関し、前記ブロックの前記エッジコーナー部のうちの少なくとも1つの半径方向延長部として、面取り部を形成する傾斜部(29a,29b,20c,31)が設けられ、前記傾斜部は、前記エッジコーナー部を前記ブロックの側壁に連結して前記ブロックの前記エッジコーナー部と前記側壁との間に円周方向においてオフセットを生じさせるようになっている、トレッド。
- 前記平均円周方向ボイド比は、前記円周方向バンドの前記平均厚さ(E)と前記平均円周方向曲率半径(Rc)の比の0.9倍〜1.1倍である、請求項1記載のトレッド。
- 前記エッジコーナー部(22a,22b,22c,24a,24b,24c)は、前記側壁(25a,25b,25c,27a,27b,27c)を画定する前記サイプ(19a,19b,19c)の幅(Wi)に少なくとも等しい距離(D)だけ前記側壁(25a,25b,25c,27a,27b,27c)に対してオフセットしている、請求項1又は2記載のトレッド。
- 前記エッジコーナー部(22a,22b,22c,24a,24b,24c)は、前記ブロックの前記2つのエッジコーナー部を互いに隔てる距離(Lb)のせいぜい半分に等しい距離(D)だけ前記側壁(25a,25b,25c,27a,27b,27c)に対してオフセットしている、請求項1〜3のうちいずれか一に記載のトレッド。
- 前記面取り部形成傾斜部(29a,29b,29c,31)は、前記側壁を画定する前記サイプの深さ(P)の少なくとも5%に等しい半径方向高さ(H)を有する、請求項1〜4のうちいずれか一に記載のトレッド。
- 前記傾斜部(29a,29b,29c,31)は、半径方向に対してせいぜい45°に等しい角度(α)だけ傾けられている、請求項1〜5のうちいずれか一に記載のトレッド。
- 各ブロック(21a,21b,21c)は、2つの面取り部形成傾斜部(29a,29b,29c,31)を有し、各傾斜部は、前記ブロックの前記エッジコーナー部(22a,22b,22c,24)の各々とそれぞれ関連している、請求項1〜6のうちいずれか一に記載のトレッド。
- 前記ブロックは、前記ブロックの側壁(25a,25b,25c,27a,27b,28c)から突き出た少なくとも1つの圧力パッド(33)を有し、前記圧力パッドは、別の隣接のブロックの側壁に接触することができるアクティブな表面を有する、請求項1〜7のうちいずれか一に記載のトレッド。
- 各圧力パッド(33)は、前記面取り部形成傾斜部(29a,29b,29c,31)の延長部をなしている、請求項8記載のトレッド。
- 前記円周方向バンド(19b)の前記サイプは、半径方向(Z)に対してせいぜい45°に等しい角度(β)だけ半径方向に傾けられている、請求項1〜9のうちいずれか一に記載のトレッド。
