Description

[0085]上記実施例1〜3で示されたように、乳酸加リンゲル液の塩残留物が試験ディスク表面の初期親水性に対してより確実な効果を示したので、乳酸加リンゲル液のすべての成分が親水性に対して確実な効果をもたらしたかどうかを判定する実験を実施した。
[0092]上記プロセスによって塩残留物をディスク表面に付着させた。これらの塩残留物は非毒性であり水性媒体に容易に吸収されることを意図している。以下の実験で該塩残留物の水溶性の性質を示す。

Claims (31)
- 生骨に埋め込まれるインプラントの親水性を向上させる方法であって、前記方法は、
インプラントの表面に非毒性の塩残留物を、前記表面を非毒性塩を含む溶液に暴露することによって付着させ;そして
前記インプラントを乾燥させる
ことを含む、前記インプラントの親水性を向上させる方法。 - インプラントが、タンタル、コバルト、クロム、チタン、ステンレススチール、又はそれらの合金からなる群から選ばれる金属で製造される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- インプラントがセラミックを含む材料から製造される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 非毒性塩が、塩化ナトリウム、塩化カリウム、塩化カルシウム、乳酸ナトリウム、及びそれらの組合せからなる群から選ばれる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 溶液が生理食塩水及び乳酸加リンゲル液からなる群から選ばれる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 生骨に埋め込まれるインプラントの形成法であって、
インプラント表面の少なくとも一部を粗面化して粗面を形成し;そして
前記粗面を非毒性塩を含む溶液に暴露することによって粗面上に非毒性の塩残留物を付着させることにより、粗面の親水性を向上させる
ことを含む、前記インプラントの形成法。 - インプラントがチタン又はチタン合金で製造され、インプラント表面を粗面化することが、
インプラント表面から天然酸化物層を除去し;そして
得られた表面を酸エッチングする
ことを含む、請求項6に記載の方法。 - インプラント表面を粗面化することが約20ミクロン以下の山から谷までの高さを有する不規則性を作り出す、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 非毒性塩が、塩化ナトリウム、塩化カリウム、塩化カルシウム、乳酸ナトリウム、及びそれらの組合せからなる群から選ばれる、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 溶液が生理食塩水及び乳酸加リンゲル液からなる群から選ばれる、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 粗面をナノ粒子を含む溶液に暴露することによって粗面上に別個のナノ粒子を付着させることをさらに含み、前記ナノ粒子はオッセオインテグレーションを促進する性質を有する材料を含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
- インプラントの表面上に脱イオン水滴によって形成される接触角が約5°〜約65°の範囲である、請求項6に記載の方法。
- チタン又はチタン合金製の歯科用インプラントの形成法であって、前記方法は、
歯科用インプラントのネジ付きボトム部分から天然酸化物層を除去し;
前記ネジ付きボトム部分を酸エッチングして、山から谷までの高さが約20ミクロンを超えない一連の微小スケールの不規則性を有する粗面を形成し;
2−メトキシエタノール溶媒及びヒドロキシアパタイトナノ結晶を含む溶液に対する暴露によって前記粗面上に別個のヒドロキシアパタイトナノ結晶を付着させ;そして
非毒性塩を含む溶液に対する暴露によって前記粗面上に塩残留物を付着させ、前記塩残留物はインプラント表面の親水性を増大させる
ことを含む、前記歯科用インプラントの形成法。 - 非毒性塩が、塩化ナトリウム、塩化カリウム、塩化カルシウム、乳酸ナトリウム、及びそれらの組合せからなる群から選ばれる、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 溶液が生理食塩水及び乳酸加リンゲル液からなる群から選ばれる、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 塩残留物を付着させることがインプラントを乾燥させることをさらに含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- ガンマ線滅菌を用いてインプラントを滅菌することをさらに含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 歯科用インプラントであって、
非回転特徴を有するヘッド部分;
前記ヘッド部分に対向する最下端;及び
前記ヘッド部分と前記最下端との間に骨とかみ合うためのネジ付きボトム部分
を含み、前記ネジ付きボトム部分は、山から谷までの高さが約20ミクロン以下の一連の微小スケールの不規則性を有する粗面を持ち、前記ネジ付きボトム部分はさらに、前記粗面上に配置される別個のナノ粒子を含み、前記ナノ粒子はヒドロキシアパタイトナノ結晶を含み、前記ネジ付きボトム部分はさらに、その上に付着された塩残留物を含む歯科用インプラント。 - インプラントがチタン及びチタン合金からなる群から選ばれる金属で製造される、請求項18に記載のインプラント。

前記インプラントの少なくとも一部を、塩化ナトリウム、塩化カリウム、塩化カルシウム、乳酸ナトリウム、又はそれらの組合せを含む溶液に浸漬することによって前記インプラントの表面に非毒性の塩残留物を付着させ;そして
前記インプラントを乾燥させる
ことを含み、
前記インプラントの表面上に脱イオン水滴によって形成される接触角が約5°〜約65°の範囲である、前記インプラントの親水性を向上させる方法。 - 非毒性の塩残留物が乳酸ナトリウムである、請求項22に記載の方法。
- 溶液が生理食塩水又は乳酸加リンゲル液である、請求項23に記載の方法。
- インプラントを乾燥させる前にインプラントを濯ぐことをさらに含む、請求項22に記載の方法。
- 生骨に埋め込まれるインプラントの形成法であって、前記方法は、
インプラント表面の少なくとも一部をグリットブラスト媒体でグリットブラストし;
残留グリットブラスト媒体を除去し;
前記インプラント表面の前記グリットブラスト部分を粗面化して粗面を形成し;
前記粗面上に別個のヒドロキシアパタイトナノ結晶を付着させ;そして
場合により、非毒性塩を含む溶液に前記粗面を暴露することによって粗面上に非毒性の塩残留物を付着させることにより、粗面の親水性を向上させる
ことを含む、前記インプラントの形成法。 - グリットブラスト媒体が吸収性のグリットブラスト媒体である、請求項26に記載の方法。
- 吸収性のグリットブラスト媒体がリン酸カルシウムを含む、請求項27に記載の方法。
- 残留グリットブラスト媒体を除去することが、インプラント表面のグリットブラスト部分を硝酸に暴露させることを含む、請求項26に記載の方法。
- インプラント表面のグリットブラスト部分を粗面化する行為の前に、インプラント表面のグリットブラスト部分を第一の酸溶液に暴露することをさらに含む、請求項26に記載の方法。
