Abstract
【解決手段】 微孔質膜と、該微孔質膜の上にある接着性コーティングとを含んでなり、該接着性コーティングの表面密度が0.3mg/cm2未満であることとを特徴とする電池分離器。

Description
(1)300sec/100cc以下の気体透過性(好ましくは200sec/100cc以下、さらに好ましくは150sec/100cc以下)と、
(2)5〜500μmの範囲の厚さ(好ましくは10〜100μm、さらに好ましくは10〜50μm)と、
(3)0.01〜10μmの範囲の孔径(好ましくは0.05〜5μm、さらに好ましくは0.05〜0.5μm)と、
(4)35〜85%の範囲の多孔性(porosity)(好ましくは40〜80%)と、
を有しても良い。
(1)活性成分と溶媒との混合物で微孔質膜を被覆し、その後、分離器を乾燥することと、
(2)ゲル状ポリマーで分離器を被覆することと、
(3)アノードと被覆された分離器とカソードとをラミネートし、電解質を含まない電池を形成することと、
(4)上記電池を「バッグ」(例えば、缶の代用となる漏れのない柔軟な包装)の中に設置することと、
(5)上記バッグへ電解質を加えることと、
(6)電池を処理し、ゲル電解質を形成させ、それによって活性電池が形成されることと、を含んでなることができる。
(1)ポリマーと可塑剤との溶媒和された混合物(solvated mixture)で微孔質膜を被覆することと、
(2)その後、分離器を乾燥することと、
(3)アノードと分離器とカソードとをラミネート(例えば加熱加圧)し、電解質を含まない電池を形成することと、
(4)可塑剤を(例えばメタノール等の適切な溶媒で抽出することにより)除去することと、
(5)「バッグ」の中に電池を設置することと、
(6)バッグへ電解質を加え、それにより活性電池が形成されることと、
を含んでなることができる。

Claims (14)
- 微孔質膜と、該微孔質膜の上にあり表面密度が0.3mg/cm2未満である接着性コーティングとを含んでなることを特徴とする電池分離器。
- 上記表面密度が、0.05mg/cm2以上0.3mg/cm2未満の範囲であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池分離器。
- 上記表面密度が、0.1mg/cm2以上0.25mg/cm2以下の範囲であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池分離器。
- 上記接着性コーティングが、ポリふっ化ビニリデン、ポリアクリレート、ポリアクリロニトリル、及び上記いずれかのポリマー又はそのモノマーを含んだ共重合体、及びこれらの混合物からなるグループから選ばれた1種類の活性成分を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池分離器。
- 上記活性成分が、ふっ化ビニリデンとヘキサフルオロプロピレンとの共重合体であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の電池分離器。
- 請求項1に記載の電池分離器を備えた電池。
- リチウムイオン電池である請求項6に記載の電池。
- 微孔質膜と該微孔質膜の上にある接着性コーティングとを含んでなり、該微孔質膜の表面エネルギーγmが該接着性コーティングの表面エネルギーγc以上であることを特徴とする電池分離器。
- 微孔質膜と該微孔質膜の上にあるゲル状コーティングとを含んでなり、該ゲル状コーティングが吸着性又はゲル状ポリマーと可塑剤とを含んでなることを特徴とする電池分離器。
- 上記可塑剤が、エステルであることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の電池分離器。
- 上記エステルが、フタル酸エステルであることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の電池分離器。
- 上記フタル酸エステルが、フタル酸ジブチルであることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の電池分離器。
- 請求項9に記載の電池分離器を備えた電池。
- リチウムイオン電池である請求項13に記載の電池。
