前記第2のオペレーションモードから前記第1のオペレーションモードに切り換えるように前記第1の無線端末に指令する第2のモード制御信号を前記第1の無線端末に送信することを備える請求項38に記載の方法。 - 前記第1のオペレーションモードは、フルトーンDCCHオペレーションモードであり、前記第2のオペレーションモードは、分割トーンDCCHオペレーションモードである請求項39に記載の方法。
- さらに、
前記第1の無線端末からモード制御信号を受信することと、
肯定応答信号を前記第1の無線端末に送信し、前記肯定応答信号が前記第1の無線端末により正常に復元された場合に前記第1の無線端末を第1のオペレーションモードから第2のオペレーションモードに切り換えることとを備え、該第2のオペレーションモードにおいて、前記第1の無線端末は、該第1のオペレーションモードのときよりも単位時間当たりに関して少ない専用制御チャネルセグメントを割り当てられる請求項26に記載の方法。 - さらに、
前記第1の無線端末から第2のモード制御信号を受信することと、
第2の肯定応答信号を前記第1の無線端末に送信し、前記第2の肯定応答信号が前記第1の無線端末により正常に復元された場合に前記第1の無線端末を前記第2のオペレーションモードから前記第1のオペレーションモードに切り換えることとを含む請求項41に記載の方法。 - 前記無線端末は、前記第1および第2のオペレーションモードにおいてセグメントで送信される情報を伝達するように異なる符号化を使用する請求項38に記載の方法。
- セグメントの前記第1の集合は、39個のセグメントを含み、セグメントの前記第2の集合は、13個のセグメントを含む請求項37に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の期間は、882のOFDM記号伝送期間を含み、該882のOFDM記号伝送期間のいくつかは該882のOFDM記号伝送期間において前記専用制御サブチャネルに使用されない請求項34に記載の方法。
- 無線端末を動作させる方法であって、
第1の期間に、該無線端末が専用制御チャネルシグナリングに使用される論理トーンを割り当てられるフルトーン専用制御チャネルオペレーションモードで該無線端末を動作させることと、
第2の期間に、前記同じ論理トーンも割り当てられる少なくとも他の1つの無線端末とともに時分割で該無線端末が専用制御チャネルシグナリングに使用される論理トーンを割り当てられる分割トーン専用制御チャネルオペレーションモードで該無線端末を動作させることとを備える方法。 - さらに、
専用制御チャネルトーン割り当てを受信し、該割り当ては使用される論理トーン、および該論理トーンがフルトーン専用制御チャネルオペレーションモードで使用されるか、分割トーン専用制御チャネルオペレーションモードで使用されるかを示すことを備える請求項46に記載の方法。 - さらに、
前記無線端末に格納されているトーンホッピング情報に基づき時間の経過とともに割り当てられている論理トーンが対応する物理トーンを決定することを備える請求項47に記載の方法。 - 前記無線端末は、前記第1の期間内の第1の時間間隔で前記単一トーンオペレーションモードにおいて単一論理トーンに対応する専用制御チャネルセグメントの数のN倍の個数のセグメントを使用し、該第1の時間間隔は複数の記号伝送期間を含み、これを前記無線端末は該第1の時間間隔と同じ持続時間を有する第2の時間間隔で使用し、該第2の時間間隔は該第2に時間間隔で生じ、Nは、1よりも大きい正整数である請求項47に記載の方法。
- Nは、3である請求項49に記載の方法。
- 基地局であって、
アップリンクで専用制御チャネルセグメントに対応する論理トーンを含む専用制御チャネルリソースを割り当てるための、該論理トーンの少なくとも1つを単一の無線端末に割り当てるためのフルトーン割り当てサブモジュールと該論理トーンの1つに対応するセグメントの異なる集合を該論理トーンが時分割で使用される時間の異なる重なり合わない部分を専用として割り当てられる該複数の無線端末のそれぞれの無線端末とともに時分割で使用される複数の無線端末に割り当てるための分割トーン割り当てサブモジュールとを含む、制御チャネルリソース割り当てモジュールと、
専用制御チャネルリソース割り当て情報を送信するための送信機とを備える基地局。 - さらに、
専用制御チャネルセグメントで伝達される専用制御チャネル信号を受信するための受信機を備える請求項51に記載の基地局。 - さらに、論理トーンがフルトーン専用制御チャネルを実装するために使用されるのか、分割トーン専用制御チャネルを実装するために使用されるのかを制御するための論理トーン専用モジュールを備える請求項51に記載の基地局。
- 前記論理トーン専用モジュールは、無線端末の負荷に応答し、フルトーン専用制御チャネルおよび分割トーン専用制御チャネルに専用として割り当てられている論理トーンの数を調節する請求項53に記載の基地局。
- 前記論理トーン専用割り当てモジュールは、さらに、無線端末からの要求に応答して、フルトーンモードまたは分割トーンモードのいずれかで動作し、受信された無線端末要求に応じて論理トーンの前記割り当てを調節する請求項54に記載の基地局。
- さらに、
無線端末への論理トーン割り当ておよび専用制御チャネルモード割り当てを示す制御信号を生成するための無線端末専用制御チャネルモード制御モジュールを備える請求項52に記載の基地局。 - 前記専用制御チャネルモード割り当ては、割り当てに対応する無線端末が、割り当てられた論理トーンに関してフルトーンモードまたは分割トーンモードで動作すべきであることを示す請求項56に記載の基地局。
- 分割トーンモード割り当ては、さらに、前記割り当てに対応する前記無線端末が割り当てられたトーンに対応する複数のセグメントのうちのどれを使用すべきかを示す請求項57に記載の基地局。
- さらに、
フルトーンオペレーションモードおよび分割トーンオペレーションモードの両方に対応するセグメントタイミング構造を示す専用制御チャネルセグメント構造情報を格納するためのメモリを備える請求項52に記載の基地局。 - さらに、
前記フルトーンオペレーションモードで使用される論理トーンに対応する専用制御チャネルセグメントで受信される情報を復号化するための第1の復号器サブモジュールおよび前記分割トーンオペレーションモードで使用される論理トーンに対応する専用制御チャネルセグメントで受信される情報を復号化する第2の復号器サブモジュールを含み、該第1および第2の復号器サブモジュールは異なる復号化方法を実装する、復号器モジュールを備える請求項53に記載の基地局。 - 前記フルトーンオペレーションモードまたは前記分割トーンオペレーションモードで使用される論理トーンに対応する前記セグメントのそれぞれは、同じ数のトーン記号を含む請求項51に記載の基地局。
- それぞれの単一の論理トーンは、時間とともに周波数に関してホップされる物理トーンに対応する請求項51に記載の基地局。
- さらに、
専用制御チャネルセグメントを実装するために使用されるアップリンクタイミング構造内の所与の点でどの物理トーンがどの論理トーンに対応しているかを示す、メモリに格納されるホッピング情報を備える請求項62に記載の基地局。
