Claims (53)
- 送信バックログ情報を報告する方法であって、
送信バックログ報告スケジュールにおいて少なくとも特定の異なる時間、使用される異なるバックログ情報レポートサイズを示す送信バックログ報告スケジュール情報を記憶すること、
一定期間にわたって異なるサイズの複数のレポートを使用してバックログ情報を送信するようにモバイルノードを動作させること、
を含み、前記バックログ情報を送信するためモバイルノードを動作させることは前記送信バックログ報告スケジュールに従って一定期間にわたり複数の異なるサイズの固定サイズ送信バックログ情報レポートを送信するために前記モバイルノードを動作させることを含み、前記複数のレポートは第1の固定サイズ及び前記第1のレポートより大きな第2の固定サイズのレポートを含む、方法。 - 前記複数のレポートは、前記第2の固定サイズよりも大きい第3の固定サイズのレポートを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記の第1、第2および第3の固定サイズの各々は、10情報ビット未満である、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記の第1、第2および第3の固定サイズのうちの少なくとも2つのサイズの各々は、5情報ビット未満である、請求項3に記載の方法。

生成されたバックログ情報レポートの送信を制御するための送信バックログレポート制御モジュールと、
を備え、前記送信バックログレポート制御モジュールは前記送信バックログ報告スケジュールに従って一定期間にわたり異なる所定の固定サイズの複数の固定サイズ送信バックログ情報レポートの送信を制御し、前記バックログ情報レポートは第1の固定サイズ及び前記第1の固定サイズより大きな第2の固定サイズのレポートを含む、ワイヤレス端末。 - 少なくとも一部の前記生成されたバックログ情報レポートを送信するためのOFDMトランスミッタを、さらに備える請求項22に記載のワイヤレス端末。
- 前記ワイヤレス端末に専用のアップリンク制御チャネルセグメントの形で送信バックログ情報レポートを送信するためのトランスミッタを、さらに備える請求項22に記載のワイヤレス端末。
- 前記ワイヤレス端末に専用の前記アップリンク制御チャネルセグメントの各々は、一様のサイズであり、各セグメントは、多くとも1つの送信バックログ情報レポートを含み、各セグメントは、バックログ情報を送信するために使用されない追加のビットを含む、請求項24に記載のワイヤレス端末。
- 前記専用アップリンク制御チャネルセグメントの形で送信されるべき情報を符号化するための符号化モジュールを、さらに備え、
少なくとも一部のセグメントについて、前記符号化モジュールは、非バックログ制御情報を通信するために使用される少なくとも1つの追加レポートを有する送信バックログレポートを符号化する、請求項25に記載のワイヤレス端末。 - 前記少なくとも1つの追加レポートは、信号対雑音比レポートと、自己雑音レポートと、干渉レポートと、ワイヤレス端末送信パワーレポートのうちの1つである、請求項26に記載のワイヤレス端末。
- 前記複数のレポートは、前記第2の固定サイズよりも大きい第3の固定サイズのレポートを含む、請求項22に記載のワイヤレス端末。

生成されたバックログ情報レポートの送信を制御する手段と、
を具備し、生成されたバックログ情報レポートの送信を制御する前記手段は前記送信バックログ報告スケジュールに従って一定期間にわたり異なる所定の固定サイズの複数の固定サイズ送信バックログ情報レポートを送信するため前記無線端末を制御し、前記生成されたバックログ情報レポートは第1の固定サイズ及び前記第1の固定サイズのレポートより大きい第2の固定サイズのレポートを含む、無線端末。 - 前記第1及び第2の固定サイズの各々は10情報ビット未満である、請求項50の無線端末。
- 無線端末に使用するコンピュータ可読媒体であって、
プロセッサによって実行されると無線端末に、

前記送信バックログ報告スケジュールに従って一定期間にわたり異なる所定の固定サイズの複数のレポートを使用してバックログ情報を送信させるコンピュータ実行可能命令と、を含み、
前記複数のレポートは第1の固定サイズ及び前記第1の固定サイズより大きな第2の固定サイズのレポートを含む、コンピュータ可読媒体。 - 送信バックログ報告スケジュールにおいて少なくとも特定の異なる時間、使用される異なるバックログ情報レポートサイズを示す送信バックログ報告スケジュール情報を記憶し、
前記送信バックログ報告スケジュールに従って一定期間にわたり異なる所定の固定サイズの複数のレポートを用いてバックログ情報を送信する通信機器を制御するように構成されるプロセッサと、
前記プロセッサに接続されるメモリと、
を具備し、前記複数のレポートは第1の固定サイズのレポート及び前記第1の固定サイズより大きな第2の固定サイズのレポートを含む、無線端末。
