Description
本出願は、参照によるそれぞれ本明細書に明確に組み込まれている、「COMMUNICATIONS METHODS AND APPARATUS」という名称の2005年12月22日に出願した米国特許仮出願第60/752,973号、および「METHODS AND APPARATUS OF IMPLEMENTING AND/OR USING A DEDICATED COTROL CHANNEL」という名称の2006年1月17日に出願した米国特許出願第11/333,792号の利益を主張するものである。
Claims (28)
- 伝送バックログ情報を通信するように無線通信システムにおいて無線端末装置を動作させる方法であって、
複数のグループのセットから1つのグループのセットを選択して、1つのnビットのアップリンクレポートを用意し、第1の数のnビットのアップリンクレポートの値は前記複数のグループのセットのうちの第1のグループのセットに対応し、第2の数のnビットのアップリンクレポートの値は前記複数のグループのセットのうちの第2のグループのセットに対応しており、かつ
前記nビットのアップリンクレポートを生成し、前記生成することは、前記選択されたグループのセットの中の1つの又は複数のキューに対応するバックログ情報を、前記選択されたグループのセットに対応するnビットの値の1つにマップして、前記nビットのアップリンクレポートに含められるべきnビットの情報ビットパターンを獲得することを含み、前記生成されるnビットのアップリンクレポートの中のマップされた値の一部の値は、少なくとも2つのキューのトラヒックのバックログを示す
ことを備える方法 - 前記複数のグループのセットの中のそれぞれのグループのセットは、伝送されるべきデータを格納するのに使用されることが可能な通信キューの1つまたはセットに対応する請求項1に記載の方法。
- 優先度が、グループのセットに関連付けられ、前記選択は、前記優先度に応じて実行される請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記優先度は、あらかじめ決められている請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記グループのセットを選択することは、0でない1つのバックログを有するグループのセットの中で最高の優先レベルを有するグループのセットを選択することを含む請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記選択されたグループのセットは、少なくとも2つの伝送キューに対応する請求項1に記載の方法。
- 伝送バックログ情報を通信するように無線通信システムにおいて使用するための無線端末装置であって、
複数のグループのセットから1つのグループのセットを選択して、1つのnビットのアップリンクレポートを用意するための選択モジュールであって、第1の数のnビットのアップリンクレポートの値は前記複数のグループのセットのうちの第1のグループのセットに対応し、第2の数のnビットのアップリンクレポートの値は前記複数のグループのセットのうちの第2のグループのセットに対応している、選択モジュールと、
前記nビットのアップリンクレポートを生成するためのレポート生成モジュールであって、前記生成することは、前記選択されたグループのセットの中の1つの又は複数のキューに対応するバックログ情報を、前記選択されたグループのセットに対応するnビットの値の1つにマップして、前記nビットのアップリンクレポートに含められるべきnビットの情報ビットパターンを獲得することを含み、前記生成されるnビットのアップリンクレポートの中のマップされた値の一部の値は、少なくとも2つのキューのトラヒックのバックログを示す、レポート生成モジュールと
を備える無線端末装置。 - 伝送されるべきデータを格納するための複数の通信キューをさらに備え、前記複数のグループのセットの中のそれぞれのグループのセットは、前記通信キューの1つまたはセットに対応する請求項7に記載の無線端末装置。
- 格納された優先度情報を含むメモリをさらに備え、前記格納された優先度情報は、優先度をグループのセットに関連付け、前記選択は、前記格納された優先度情報に応じて実行される請求項7に記載の無線端末装置。
- 前記優先度は、あらかじめ決められている請求項9に記載の無線端末装置。
- 前記選択モジュールは、0でない1つのバックログを有するグループのセットの中で最高の優先レベルを有するグループのセットを選択する請求項9に記載の無線端末装置。
- 前記選択されたグループのセットは、少なくとも2つの伝送キューに対応する請求項7に記載の無線端末装置。
- 前記複数のグループのセットのうちの少なくともいくつかのグループのセットは、異なる数のキューに対応し、前記複数のグループのセットのうちの第1のグループのセットは、単一のキューに対応し、前記複数のグループのセットのうちの第2のグループのセットは、複数のキューに対応する請求項7に記載の無線端末装置。
- 伝送バックログ情報を通信するように無線通信システムにおいて使用するための無線端末装置であって、
複数のグループのセットから1つのグループのセットを選択して、1つのnビットのアップリンクレポートを用意するための手段あって、第1の数のnビットのアップリンクレポートの値は前記複数のグループのセットのうちの第1のグループのセットに対応し、第2の数のnビットのアップリンクレポートの値は前記複数のグループのセットのうちの第2のグループのセットに対応している、手段と、
前記nビットのアップリンクレポートを生成するための手段であって、前記生成することは、前記選択されたグループのセットの中の1つの又は複数のキューに対応するバックログ情報を、前記選択されたグループのセットに対応するnビットの値の1つにマップして、前記nビットのアップリンクレポートに含められるべきnビットの情報ビットパターンを獲得することを含み、前記生成されるnビットのアップリンクレポートの中のマップされた値の一部の値は、少なくとも2つのキューのトラヒックのバックログを示す、手段と
を備える無線端末装置。 - 伝送されるべきデータを格納するための複数の通信キューを格納するための手段をさらに備え、前記複数のグループのセットの中のそれぞれのグループのセットは、前記通信キューの1つまたはセットに対応する請求項14に記載の無線端末装置。
- 優先度情報を格納するための手段をさらに備え、前記優先度情報は、優先度をグループのセットに関連付け、前記選択は、前記優先度情報に応じて実行される請求項14に記載の無線端末装置。
- 前記優先度は、あらかじめ決められている請求項16に記載の無線端末装置。
- 前記選択する手段は、0でない1つのバックログを有するグループのセットの中で最高の優先レベルを有するグループのセットを選択する手段を含む請求項16に記載の無線端末装置。
- 無線通信システムにおいて伝送バックログ情報を通信するよう無線端末装置を動作させるためのプログラムを記録した記録媒体であって、
複数のグループのセットから1つのグループのセットを選択して、1つのnビットのアップリンクレポートを用意する手順であって、第1の数のnビットのアップリンクレポートの値は前記複数のグループのセットのうちの第1のグループのセットに対応し、第2の数のnビットのアップリンクレポートの値は前記複数のグループのセットのうちの第2のグループのセットに対応している、手順と、
前記nビットのアップリンクレポートを生成する手順であって、前記生成することは、前記選択されたグループのセットの中の1つの又は複数のキューに対応するバックログ情報を、前記選択されたグループのセットに対応するnビットの値の1つにマップして、前記nビットのアップリンクレポートに含められるべきnビットの情報ビットパターンを獲得することを含み、前記生成されるnビットのアップリンクレポートの中のマップされた値の一部の値は、少なくとも2つのキューのトラヒックのバックログを示す、手順と
