Abstract
【解決手段】 調光信号kの調光深度k1、k2、…k7に応じて全光時の最大電流に相当する信号値から調光深度が最も深い時の最小電流に相当する信号値まで変化する基準信号Vref1、全光時の最大電流時の負荷電圧に相当する信号値から調光深度が最も深い時の最小電流に相当する信号値まで変化する基準信号Vref2を用意し、調光深度が浅い全光に近い領域では、基準信号Vref1を選択して電流制御モードにより発光ダイオード19〜21を定電流制御し、調光深度が深い領域では基準信号Vref2を選択して電圧制御モードにより発光ダイオード19〜21を定電圧制御する。

Description
まず、本発明の電源装置が適用される照明器具について簡単に説明する。図1及び図2において、1は器具本体で、この器具本体1は、アルミニウムのダイカスト製のもので、両端を開口した円筒状をしている。この器具本体1は、内部を仕切り部材1a、1bにより上下方向に3分割され、下方開口と仕切り部材1aの間の空間は、光源部2に形成されている。この光源部2には、半導体発光素子としての複数のLED2aと反射体2bが設けられている。複数のLED2aは、仕切り部材1a下面に設けられた円盤状の配線基板2cの円周方向に沿って等間隔に配置され実装されている。
次に、本発明の第2の実施の形態を説明する。
次に、第3の実施の形態を説明する。
上述では基準信号Vref1、Vref2のうち大きい信号を優先させて基準信号Vrefを生成するようにしたが、電流制御モードと電圧制御モードの領域の切り替えがスムーズに行かないことがある。そこで、図11(a)に示すように第1の信号発生器55と第2の信号発生器56の他に、基準信号Vref1と基準信号Vref2の中間的ゲインを有する基準信号Vref3を発生する第3の信号発生器59を設け、これら第1乃至第3の信号発生器55、56の基準信号Vref1、Vref2、Vref3をそれぞれダイオード57、58、60を各別に介して出力することにより図11(b)に示す基準信号Vrefを出力させる。このようにして電流制御モードと電圧制御モードの各領域の間で基準信号Vrefaと基準信号Vrefbのそれぞれのゲインの中間的な変化をする基準信号Vref3を介在させることにより、電流制御モードと電圧制御モードの各領域間での制御モードの移行をスムーズにできる。

Claims (6)
- 半導体発光素子を点灯させる直流出力を生成する直流出力生成手段と;
調光深度の異なる調光信号を発生し、前記半導体発光素子の光量を調整する調光手段と;
前記半導体発光素子に流れる電流を一定に制御する定電流制御手段と;
前記半導体発光素子に印加される負荷電圧を一定に制御する定電圧制御手段と;
前記調光手段による調光信号の調光深度に応じて前記定電流制御手段による定電流制御及び前記定電圧制御手段による定電圧制御を切り替える制御手段と;
を具備したことを特徴とする電源装置。 - 前記制御手段は、前記定電流制御手段による定電流制御のための基準信号と前記定電圧制御手段による定電圧制御のための基準信号をそれぞれ有し、前記調光信号の調光深度に応じて前記基準信号を選択して用いることを特徴とする請求項1記載の電源装置。
- 前記定電流制御手段による定電流制御領域と前記定電圧制御手段による定電圧制御領域の中間領域で、前記半導体発光素子に流れる電流と前記半導体発光素子に印加される負荷電圧に基づいて前記半導体発光素子を電力制御する電力制御手段をさらに設けたことを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の電源装置。
- 半導体発光素子を点灯させる直流出力を生成する直流出力生成手段と;
前記半導体発光素子に印加される負荷電圧を検出する電圧検出部と;
前記半導体発光素子に流れる電流を検出する電流検出部と;
調光深度を可変する調光信号を発生し、前記半導体発光素子の光量を調整する調光手段と;
前記調光深度に応じて前記電流検出部の検出信号による定電流性の制御モードか、前記電流検出部の検出信号による定電圧性の制御モードのいずれかが強調されるように制御する制御手段と;
を具備したことを特徴とする電源装置。 - 調光手段からの調光信号に応じて、定電流性の制御モードから定電圧性の制御モードの負荷特性に連続的もしくは階段的に変化することを特徴とする請求項4記載の電源装置。
- 請求項1乃至5のいずれか一記載の電源装置と;前記電源装置を有する器具本体と:を具備したことを特徴とする照明器具。
