Abstract
Description
Claims (5)
- LED(Light Emitting Diode)와, PWM 신호에 대응하여 상기 LED에 흐르는 전류의 크기를 조정하는 전류조정부를 갖는 LED구동장치에 있어서,상기 LED에 걸리는 전압을 검출하는 전압검출부와;상기 전압검출부로부터 검출된 검출전압과 소정의 기준전압을 비교하여, 상기 검출전압이 상기 기준전압보다 작은 경우, 상기 PWM 신호가 상기 전류조정부에 인가되는 것을 차단하는 PWM 차단부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 LED구동장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 전압검출부는 저항을 이용하여 상기 LED에 걸리는 전압을 검출하는 것을 특징으로 하는 LED구동장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,상기 PWM 차단부는 트랜지스터를 포함하며;상기 트랜지스터는 상기 전압검출부에 연결된 베이스단과, 상기 PWM 신호가 입력되는 이미터단과, 상기 전류조정부와 연결되어 상기 PWM 신호를 인가하는 콜렉터단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 LED구동장치.
- 제3항에 있어서,상기 PWM 차단부는 상기 베이스단에 걸리는 전압과 상기 이미터단에 걸리는 전압의 전위차가 상기 기준전압보다 작은 경우, 상기 전류조정부에 인가되는 상기 PWM 신호를 차단하는 것을 특징으로 하는 LED구동장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 PWM 차단부로부터 상기 PWM 신호가 차단된 경우, 상기 전류조정부의 접지를 위한 풀-다운저항을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 LED 구동장치.
