Abstract
【解決手段】 大気圧解放用のバルブを備えた耐圧容器内に木材を密封し、該耐圧容器に流体を加圧充填し、流体の臨界点以上に温度・圧力を一定時間保持した後、耐圧容器の大気圧解放用バルブを解放し内部圧力を大気圧まで減圧することを特徴とする木材の乾燥方法。

Description
(1)大気圧解放用のバルブを備えた耐圧容器内に木材と流体を挿入し、流体の臨界点以上に温度・圧力を一定時間保持した後、耐圧容器のバルブを解放し内部圧力を大気圧まで減圧することを特徴とする木材の乾燥方法。
(2)流体が液体もしくは気体の二酸化炭素または窒素であることを特徴とする(1)に記載の木材の乾燥方法。
(3)大気圧解放用のバルブを備えた耐圧容器内に木材を密封し、該耐圧容器に流体を加圧充填し、流体の臨界点以上に温度・圧力を一定時間保持した後、耐圧容器の大気圧解放用バルブを解放し内部圧力を大気圧まで減圧して処理した木材に液状の薬剤を浸透させることを特徴とする木材への薬剤浸透方法。
(4)流体が液体もしくは気体の二酸化炭素または窒素であることを特徴とする(3)に記載の木材への薬剤浸透方法。
(5)木材を収容する耐圧容器と、耐圧容器に備えられた大気圧解放用バルブと、流体を充填した充填容器と、該充填容器から耐圧容器に流体を加圧注入する空気圧ポンプと、耐圧容器内を加熱する加熱器を備えたことを特徴とする木材の乾燥装置。
(1)40℃程度の低温処理でも木材を乾燥させることができるため、加熱乾燥する従来法よりもエネルギー消費量を大幅に削減することができる。
(2)1回の処理にかかる時間はトータルで1時間程度と非常に短時間処理でありながら含水率を数十パーセント低下させることができる。この本発明方法を取り入れることにより従来法では最低でも数日かかっていた乾燥工程を大幅に短縮できる。
(3)本発明方法で乾燥させた木材は水浸透性が大幅に向上するため、乾燥処理後の防腐剤・防蟻剤等の薬剤注入処理で薬剤が木材の中心部まで十分に拡散浸透でき、耐朽性の高い木材を製造することができる。
5〜60分、好ましくは10〜40分、さらに好ましくは20〜40分である。
試片はそのまま室内に放置し、処理30分後、1時間後、2時間後、24時間後の重量も測定して含水率を算出した。その結果を表1に示す。

Claims (5)
- 大気圧解放用のバルブを備えた耐圧容器内に木材を密封し、該耐圧容器に流体を加圧充填し、流体の臨界点以上に温度・圧力を一定時間保持した後、耐圧容器の大気圧解放用バルブを解放し内部圧力を大気圧まで減圧することを特徴とする木材の乾燥方法。
- 流体が液体もしくは気体の二酸化炭素または窒素であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の木材の乾燥方法。
- 大気圧解放用のバルブを備えた耐圧容器内に木材を密封し、該耐圧容器に流体を加圧充填し、流体の臨界点以上に温度・圧力を一定時間保持した後、耐圧容器の大気圧解放用バルブを解放し内部圧力を大気圧まで減圧して処理した木材に液状の薬剤を浸透させることを特徴とする木材への薬剤浸透方法。
- 流体が液体もしくは気体の二酸化炭素または窒素であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の木材への薬剤浸透方法。
- 木材を収容する耐圧容器と、耐圧容器に備えられた大気圧解放用バルブと、流体を充填した充填容器と、該充填容器から耐圧容器に流体を加圧注入する加圧ポンプと、耐圧容器内を加熱する加熱器を備えたことを特徴とする木材の乾燥装置。
