Abstract
【解決手段】車輪2のキャンバー角がネガティブキャンバーに調整されると、第1トレッド21の接地圧が増加されると共に、第2トレッド22の接地圧が減少される。これにより、高グリップ性が発揮される。一方、車輪2のキャンバー角がポジティブキャンバーに調整されると、第1トレッド21の接地圧が減少されると共に、第2トレッド22の接地圧が増加される。これにより、低転がり抵抗となり、省燃費が達成される。このように、車輪2のキャンバー角を調整することで、高グリップ性と省燃費との背反する性能の両立を図ることができる。

Claims (3)
- 車輪と、その車輪のキャンバー角を調整するキャンバー角調整装置とを備える車両に対し、前記キャンバー角調整装置を作動させて、前記車輪のキャンバー角を制御する車両用制御装置であって、
前記キャンバー角調整装置の作動状態を制御する作動制御手段を備え、
前記車輪は、第1トレッドと、その第1トレッドと特性が異なる第2トレッドとを少なくとも備え、前記第1トレッドが前記車輪の幅方向において前記第2トレッドよりも前記車両の内側又は外側に配置され、
前記第1トレッドは、前記第2トレッドに比して、グリップ力の高い特性に構成されると共に、前記第2トレッドは、前記第1トレッドに比して、転がり抵抗の小さい特性に構成され、
前記作動制御手段が前記キャンバー角調整装置の作動状態を制御して、前記車輪のキャンバー角を調整することで、前記車輪の前記第1トレッドにおける接地圧と前記第2トレッドにおける接地圧との比率を変更することを特徴とする車両用制御装置。 - 前記作動制御手段は、
前記車両の対地速度を判断する対地速度判断手段と、
その対地速度検出手段により前記車両の対地速度が所定速度以下であると判断される場合に、前記第1トレッドにおける接地圧が少なくとも増加するように、前記キャンバー角調整装置を作動させて前記車輪のキャンバー角を調整する低速時作動制御手段と、を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の車両用制御装置。 - 前記作動制御手段は、
運転者が操作する操作部材の操作状態を判断する操作状態判断手段と、
その操作状態判断手段により前記操作部材の操作状態が所定の条件を満たしていると判断される場合に、前記第1トレッドにおける接地圧が少なくとも増加するように、前記キャンバー角調整装置を作動させて前記車輪のキャンバー角を調整する操作時作動制御手段と、を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の車両用制御装置。
