Abstract
センサによる検出精度を向上させた磁気エンコーダを備えた、信頼性の高い密封装置を提供する。
【解決手段】 外部側に設けられるセンサ6により検知される磁化された被検知部3aを環状部材2の内部側に備えるとともに、環状部材4に設けられ環状部材2に摺動自在に密封接触するシールリップ5a,5bと、シールリップ5a,5bよりも外部側に設けられたラビリンスシール部8(微小隙間8a,8b)とを有するシール部を備える。

Description
互いに同軸的に相対回転自在な2部材のうちのいずれか一方の部材に嵌着される第1の環状部材と、該2部材のうちのいずれか他方の部材に嵌着される第2の環状部材と、該第1及び第2の環状部材間に設けられて該2部材間の環状隙間をシールするシール部と、を備えるとともに、
非密封対象流体側に設けられる検知手段により検知される磁化された被検知部を前記第1の環状部材の密封対象流体側に備え、前記2部材の相対回転を検出可能とする密封装置であって、
前記シール部は、
前記第1及び第2の環状部材のうち少なくともいずれか一方に設けられ、該第1及び第2の環状部材のうち少なくともいずれか他方に密封接触するシールリップと、
前記シールリップよりも非密封対象流体側に設けられ、前記第1の環状部材が前記第2の環状部材と前記他方の部材とのうち少なくともいずれかに近接することにより形成される微小隙間と、
を備えることを特徴とする。
前記一方の部材は、前記他方の部材の内周側に設けられ、
前記第1の環状部材は、前記検知手段に近接して設けられる軸方向部を、該検知手段よりも外周側に備えることも好ましい。
向部2eの内周面2gと環状部材4の径方向部4bの外径側端部に焼付け成形されたゴム材5の外径側端部5eとにより形成される微小隙間8bにより構成される。

Claims (2)
- 互いに同軸的に相対回転自在な2部材のうちのいずれか一方の部材に嵌着される第1の環状部材と、該2部材のうちのいずれか他方の部材に嵌着される第2の環状部材と、該第1及び第2の環状部材間に設けられて該2部材間の環状隙間をシールするシール部と、を備えるとともに、
非密封対象流体側に設けられる検知手段により検知される磁化された被検知部を前記環状部材の密封対象流体側に備え、前記2部材の相対回転を検出可能とする密封装置であって、
前記シール部は、
前記第1及び第2の環状部材のうち少なくともいずれか一方に設けられ、該第1及び第2の環状部材のうち少なくともいずれか他方に密封接触するシールリップと、
前記シールリップよりも非密封対象流体側に設けられ、前記第1の環状部材が前記第2の環状部材と前記他方の部材とのうち少なくともいずれかに近接することにより形成される微小隙間と、
を備えることを特徴とする密封装置。 - 前記一方の部材は、前記他方の部材の内周側に設けられ、
前記第1の環状部材は、前記検知手段に近接して設けられる軸方向部を、該検知手段よりも外周側に備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の密封装置。
