Claims (5)
- 内周面に複列の外側転走面が一体に形成された外方部材と、
外周面に外側転走面に対向する内側転走面が形成された内方部材と、
外方部材と内方部材のそれぞれの転走面間に転動自在に収容された複列の転動体と、
シールリップが形成されているシール板が外方部材の開口部に嵌合され、スリンガがシール板に対向するようにして内方部材の外周部に嵌合され、シールリップがスリンガに接触することで外方部材と内方部材との間をシールしているシール部材と、を備えた車輪用軸受装置において、
スリンガが外方部材の開口部端面を覆うように形成されるとともにスリンガに内方部材の軸方向に延びる円筒状の壁部が設けられ、
該壁部は、外方部材とシールリップとの間に配置され、
外方部材とスリンガと壁部によって、
外方部材の外周面とスリンガとの間隙からなり且つ内方部材の軸方向に延びる第1通路と、
該第1通路と連通し、外方部材の端面とスリンガとの間隙からなる第2通路と、
該第2通路と連通し、外方部材の軸方向に対して平行な部位を有する該外方部材の内周面と壁部との間隙からなる第3通路とを有するラビリンスが構成され、
前記壁部の先端外径が基端外径以上の大きさになるように形成されている車輪用軸受装置。 - 前記壁部が軸方向断面視で基端から先端に向かって軸心から離間するように形成されている請求項1に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記壁部に周方向に沿う環状の凹部または凸部が形成されている請求項1または請求項2に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記シール板のリップシールの先端が前記壁部の先端よりも基端側になるように形成されている請求項1から請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記外方部材の外周面に周方向に沿う外溝が形成され、前記スリンガに外溝を覆う円筒状のカバー部が形成される請求項1から請求項4のいずれか一項に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
