Claims (4)
- 回転側部材に嵌合固着され金属材からなるスリンガと、固定側部材に嵌合固着される芯金と、上記スリンガに弾性摺接する複数のシールリップ部を備えて上記芯金に固着された弾性シール部材とよりなり、これらが組合わさって、上記固定側部材と上記回転側部材との間を密封するよう構成される密封装置であって、
上記スリンガが、上記回転側部材に嵌合される嵌合円筒部と、該嵌合円筒部の被密封部位に対して外側に位置する一端部にその径方向に延出形成された鍔状部とよりなり、上記芯金は、少なくとも上記固定側部材に嵌合される嵌合円筒部を備え、該嵌合円筒部の被密封部位に対して外側に位置する一端部は、上記スリンガにおける鍔状部の被密封部位側内面位置より外側に突出し、且つ上記複数のシールリップ部のうち、ひとつのシールリップ部は、上記スリンガの上記鍔状部の延出端面に弾性摺接するよう形成されていることを特徴とする密封装置。 - 請求項1に記載の密封装置において、
前記鍔状部の前記延出端面が、テーパー面とされていることを特徴とする密封装置。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の密封装置において、
前記鍔状部の延出側先側部分を、更に前記被密封部位側に屈折して、前記スリンガの前記嵌合円筒部と同心状の第2円筒部を形成したことを特徴とする密封装置。 - 請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の密封装置において、
前記スリンガにおける前記鍔状部の外面には、周方向に沿ってN極、S極が交互に着磁され、固定側に固設された磁気センサーとにより磁気エンコーダを構成するトーンホイールが貼着一体とされていることを特徴とする密封装置。
