Claims (6)
- 内周に複列の外側転走面が一体に形成された外方部材と、
外周に軸方向に延びる小径段部が形成されたハブ輪、およびこのハブ輪の小径段部に圧入された少なくとも一つの内輪を有し、外周に前記複列の外側転走面に対向する複列の内側転走面が形成された内方部材と、
前記外方部材と前記内方部材とのそれぞれの転走面間に転動自在に収容された複列の転動体と、を具備する車輪用軸受装置における前記外方部材と前記内方部材との間をシールするシール部材であって、
前記外方部材の内周面に嵌合されるシール板嵌合部と前記シール板嵌合部から径方向内側に延びる環状の支持部と前記支持部の一側面に設けられる複数のシールリップとを有するシール板と、前記内方部材の外周面に嵌合されるスリンガ嵌合部と前記スリンガ嵌合部から径方向外側に延びて前記支持部と対向する環状の立板部とを有するスリンガと、を備え、
前記複数のシールリップのうち少なくとも一つは、前記立板部の一側面又は前記スリンガ嵌合部の外周面のいずれか一方に接触し、
前記支持部のうち、最も径方向外側の前記シールリップが設けられている位置よりも径方向外側の部分を屈曲させて円環状の溝部を形成し、
前記溝部は、前記シール板嵌合部の端から径方向内側に延びる円環状の底側面と、前記底側面の径方向内側端から軸方向に延びる円筒状の内側面とを有し、
前記立板部の外周部分を屈曲させて円筒状の壁部を形成し、
前記壁部の一部が、径方向視で前記支持部と重複し、
前記溝部に対して前記壁部が全周に亘って非接触の状態で配置され、前記シール板嵌合部と前記壁部との隙間、前記溝部の前記底側面と前記壁部の端面との隙間、及び前記溝部の前記内側面と前記壁部との隙間が、ラビリンスとして構成されているシール部材。 - 前記壁部に非接触の状態で前記壁部の内周面に沿うラビリンスリップが前記支持部に設けられ、前記壁部と前記ラビリンスリップとの隙間がラビリンスとして構成されている請求項1に記載のシール部材。
- 前記壁部に非接触の状態で前記ラビリンスのシール内部側の開口部を覆う樋部が前記支持部に設けられている請求項1に記載のシール部材。
- 前記立板部に非接触の状態で前記立板部の一側面に沿うラビリンスリップが前記支持部に設けられ、前記立板部と前記ラビリンスリップとの隙間がラビリンスとして構成されている請求項1から請求項3のいずれか一項に記載のシール部材。
- 前記シール板嵌合部の長さが、前記支持部と前記立板部との間隔の1.2倍から2.5倍の範囲に含まれるように構成されている請求項1から請求項4のいずれか一項に記載のシール部材。
- 請求項1から請求項5のいずれか一項に記載のシール部材を備える車輪用軸受装置。
