Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. プロセス制御環境を構成するための方法であって、前記プロセス制御環境 が、ディスプレー装置と接続したプロセッサを備えたコンピュータシステムを含 み、前記方法が、 複数の指示セクションを提供し、前記指示セクションがプロセス制御環境の構 成に関連する情報を説明し、 前記指示セクションに関連する、連続する構成画面プレゼンテーションをディ スプレー装置上に表示し、 連続する構成画面プレゼンテーションを介して遂行される質問、応答セッショ ンを介して、プロセス制御環境の構成全体を通してユーザをガイドする、 こをを特徴とする方法。 2. 複数の指示セクションが紹介指示セクションを含み、前記紹介指示セクシ ョンが、プロセス制御環境の構成に関する紹介情報をユーザに提供することを特 徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 3. 前記複数の指示セクションが、コントローラ指示セクションを含み、前記 コントローラ指示セクションが、プロセス制御環境内のコントローラを構成する プロセスを通じてユーザをガイドするための一連の画面プレゼンテーションを提 供することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 4. 前記複数の指示セクションが、コントローラ階層指示セクションを含み、 前記コントローラ階層セクションが、前記プロセス制御環境内にコントローラ階 層を構成するプロセスを通して、ユーザをガイドするための連続する画面プレゼ ンテーションを提供することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 5. 前記複数の指示セクションがワークステーション指示セクションを含み、 前記ワークステーション指示セクションが、プロセス制御環境内にコントローラ を構成するプロセスを通して、ユーザをガイドするための連続する画面プレゼン テーションを提供することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 6. 前記指示セクションが、オブジェクト指向フレームワークを使って実現さ れることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 7. 前記オブジェクト指向フレームワークがクラスを含み、 前記指示セクションは、1セット市販の基礎クラスのから引出されたクラスを 含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の方法。 8. 前記プロセス制御環境の構成がデータベース内に記憶され、前記データベ ースが、プロセス制御環境に関する情報を有し、 構成プロセスを通してユーザをガイドする度に、前記データベースが連続的に 更新されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 9. 前記プロセス制御環境の構成が、プロセス制御環境のエクスプローラ部分 内で反映されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 10. プロセス制御環境を構成するためのシステムであって、前記システムが 、 メモリと接続したプロセッサと、前記プロセッサと接続したディスプレー装置 とを有するコンピュータシステムを有し、 前記プロセッサと接続している複数の指示セクションとをさらに有し、前記指 示セクションが、前記プロセス制御環境に関する情報を説明し、 指示セクションに関する、連続する構成画面プレゼンテーションを、前記ディ スプレー装置上に表示する手段を有し、 一連の構成画面プレゼンテーションを介して実行された 質問と応答セッショ ンを介して、前記プロセス制御環境の構成を通してユーザをガイドする手段を有 する ことを特徴とするプロセス制御環境を構成するためのシステム。 11. 前記複数の指示セクションが紹介指示セクションを有し、前記紹介指示 セクションが、プロセス制御環境の構成に関する紹介情報をユーザに提供するこ とを特徴とする請求項10に記載のシステム。 12. 前記複数の紹介セクションがコントローラ指示セクションを有し、前記 コントローラ指示セクションが、前記プロセス制御環境内でのコントローラの構 成の工程を通じてユーザをガイドする一連の画面プレゼンテーションを提供する ことを特徴とする請求項10に記載のシステ ム。 13. 前記複数の指示セクションが、コントローラ階層指示セクションを有し 、前記コントローラ階層セクションが、前記プロセス制御環境内にコントローラ 階層を構成する工程を通じてユーザをガイドする一連の画面プレゼンテーション を提供することを特徴とする請求項10に記載のシステム。 14. 前記複数の指示セクションが、ワークステーション指示セクションを有 し、前記ワークステーション指示セクションが、前記プロセス制御環境内にワー クステーションを構成する工程を通してユーザをガイドする一連の画面プレゼン テーションを提供することを特徴とする請求項10に記載のシステム。 15. 前記指示セクションがソフトウェア内で実現されることを特徴とする請 求項10に記載のシステム。 16. 前記ソフトウェアがオブジェクト指向フレームワークを使って実現され ることを特徴とする請求項15に記載のシステム。 17. 前記オブジェクト指向の技術がクラスを有し、 前記指示セクションが、1セットの市販の基礎クラスから引出されたクラスを 含むことを特徴とする請求項16に記載のシステム。 18. 前記プロセス制御環境に関する情報を含むデータベースをさらに有し、 前記データベースが、前記構成プロセスを通したユーザのガイドが行われる度 に、継続的に更新されることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のシステム。 19. 前記プロセッサに接続したエクスプローラ部分をさらに有し、 前記プロセス制御環境の構成が、前記プロセス制御環境のエタスプローラ部分 内で反映されることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のシステム。 20. 製品であって、 非揮発性メモリを有し、 前記非揮発性メモリ内に記憶された複数の指示セクションを有し、前記指示セ クションがプロセス制御環境の構成に関連する情報を説明し、 前記指示セクションに関連する一連の構成画面プレゼンテーションをディスプ レー装置上に表示する手段を有し、前記表示手段が前記非揮発性メモリ内に記憶 されており、 前記一連の構成画面プレゼンテーションを介して実行される質問/応答セッシ ョンを介し、ユーザを前記プロセス制御環境の構成を通してガイドする手段を有 することを特徴とする製品。 21. 前記一連の画面プレゼンテーションが順序を有し、前記順序が前記質問 /応答セッションによって定義されていることを特徴とする請求項20に記載の 製品。 22. 前記一連の画面プレゼンテーションが順序を有し、前記順序が前記質問 /応答セッションによって定義されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方 法。 23. 前記一連の画面プレゼンテーションが順序を有し、前記順序が前記質問 /応答セッションによって定義されていることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の システム。 24. プロセス制御環境を構成する方法であり、前記プロセス制御環境が、デ ィスプレー装置に接続したプロセッサを備えたコンピュータシステムを有し、前 記方法が、 複数の指示セクションを提供し、前記指示セクションが、プロセス制御環境の 構成に関連する情報を説明し、 指示セクションに関する一連の構成画面プレゼンテーションをディスプレー装 置に表示し、 前記一連の構成画面プレゼンテーションを介して、ユーザを前記プロセス制御 環境の構成を通してガイドし、 前記一連の賀宴プレゼンテーションを怪異s手実行されるユーザダイアログを 介して、前記プロセス制御環境ための情報を収集することを特徴とするプロセス 制御環境を構成する方法。
