Definitions

  • the invention relates to a sliding door system with a frame which receives one or more sliding doors which are mounted in or on the frame and can be moved horizontally along the frame.
  • a sliding door system with a frame which receives one or more door elements which are guided in the frame and are each horizontally displaceable along the frame from a closed position to an open position, the door elements in the open position out of the frame plane, ie from a parallel to the frame position, can be pivoted into an open position, the sliding door system having a releasable locking arrangement at least in the area of the top of the door element and the frame, which has an unlockable locking element, which when the door element is shifted horizontally into the open position, interacts with a corresponding counterpart and forms a form fit and blocks horizontal displacement of the door element in the frame and at the same time enables the door element to pivot out of the plane of the frame, ie from a position parallel to the frame.
  • blocking means are provided in the form of a metal bracket which allow the folding door elements to be laid flat on top of one another at the distance formed by the metal bracket.
  • a disadvantage of these sliding door systems is that in addition to the bearing rollers on which the door elements are movably mounted in the guide rails, a large number of components and assemblies must be provided, such as locking devices for locking the Door element against shifting in the guide rail when the door element is open to prevent tipping. This makes the overall construction and assembly very complex.
  • Folding door systems are also known in which a plurality of door elements are hinged to one another in the manner of an accordion, the door elements being arranged to be movable in a frame.
  • these are not sliding door systems, as it is not possible to move and open individual elements as all door elements are coupled to one another.
  • Such folding doors are coupled on one side to the frame, so that an opening is only possible in one direction, but the folding door elements are not freely displaceable.
  • Another disadvantage of folding door systems is that they are very difficult to handle due to the coupling of all door elements with one another, and in some cases they can even be operated by only two people.
  • folding door systems Another disadvantage of such folding door systems is that the individual door elements cannot be cleaned from the outside, since individual elements cannot be opened. With such folding door systems, cleaning from the outside is therefore only possible if the entire folding door system is freely accessible from the outside.
  • the object of the invention is to overcome the disadvantages mentioned and to develop a sliding door system of the type mentioned in such a way that it is easy to move the door elements horizontally along the frame from a closed position to an open position and vice versa, and to pivot the door in the open position is possible in an open position with a secure hold of the door, without the door can tilt at the moment of pivoting, the door system should have a simple overall design and the number of components and assemblies is reduced.
  • the sliding doors are designed as folding door elements, in which two door elements on one centered between the Door elements perpendicular to the hinge line are articulated to one another by means of a hinge arrangement, the hinge arrangement being pivotable out of the frame plane, so that the two door elements can be opened perpendicular to the frame plane and lie flat on one another in an open position.
  • a shifting of the folding door elements in the horizontal direction along the frame into a desired opening position or vice versa from the opening position to the closed position is easily possible, since the folding door elements are movably supported in or on the frame.
  • all sliding door elements are next to one another in the plane spanned by the frame and form a closed wall, in the case of glass doors a closed glass wall, as can be provided, for example, in winter gardens.
  • bolts can be arranged which come into engagement in the closed position of the respective folding door element and securely lock the folding door elements.
  • frame level means the level spanned by the outer frame that accommodates the sliding doors.
  • a folding door element has been moved from its closed position into the desired open position, the door elements hinged to one another can be pivoted out of the plane of the frame.
  • the hinge action of the hinge arrangement thus allows the two door elements to be pivoted out of the frame plane, so that the door elements can be pushed together on one side of the frame to form a package, so that the entire width of the frame, which in the fully closed position of the folding door elements forms a closed wall, can be opened. This is particularly advantageous, for example, in a winter garden or an entrance area of a shop or the like.
  • the frame plane denotes the plane spanned by the frame of the sliding door system in which the folding door elements lie in the closed position. In the open position, the door elements of the folding door elements are perpendicular to this plane and form a package pushed to the side so that the widest possible, i.e. maximum opening is achieved.
  • a very favorable height-width ratio of the folding door elements can be achieved. Because two door elements are always connected to one another in an articulated manner on a hinge line running vertically in the middle between the door elements, the folding door is twice as wide as a single door element, so that tilting and tilting is reliably prevented when the folding door element is moved along the frame , while the door elements when they are displayed, i.e. when the hinge line, on which the two door elements are connected to one another, is pivoted out of the frame plane, do not take up much space and can be pushed together to form a package whose extension perpendicular to the frame plane is only half the width of a folding door element , namely corresponds to the width of a single door element.
  • each door element is swiveled back into the frame plane from the swiveled-out position, ie from the position perpendicular to the frame plane.
  • the sliding doors thus have two door elements which are connected to one another via a central joint with a vertical pivot axis and thus form a folding door element.
  • a guide element is in alignment with the pivot axis of the central joint in engagement with a guide rail of the frame, whereby by disengaging this guide element a pivoting out of the frame plane is possible, in particular a folding of the folding door is possible at any position of the frame is.
  • the sliding doors can be mounted in or on the frame in a hanging or standing position.
  • guide elements are preferably arranged at the lower end of the folding door elements forming the sliding doors, which engage in the lower frame in order to pivot the folding door elements perpendicular to the frame plane, ie on a circular arc around the upper support. to prevent.
  • At least one guide element is preferably arranged at the upper end of the folding door elements, which engages in a guide rail on the upper frame and reliably prevents the folding doors from tilting out of the plane of the frame.
  • the sliding doors have on their left side and on their right side above and / or below movable bearings in a guide rail of the frame on, in particular rollers and / or sliders, by means of which they are movably mounted in a guide rail of the frame.
  • the folded door elements are each arranged on the left side and on the right side, there is overall maximum stability of the mounting of the folding door elements in or on the frame. This effectively prevents the sliding doors from tipping when they are moved.
  • the hinge arrangement has a lock which is formed by a bracket which is hinged to a door element and whose free end is guided by means of a link guide in relation to the other door element, the link guide having at least one locking position in which the bracket releasably engages , so that the hinge arrangement is locked in at least one intermediate position between the closed position and complete opening, in particular with an acute angle between the two door elements, so that a further pivoting movement of one door element against the other door element is blocked in this intermediate position.
  • the sliding doors can be moved in any direction along the frame and can be folded up both at the left end of the frame and at the right end of the frame.
  • the wing packages can thus be moved in both directions along the frame.
  • all folding door elements can be pushed together on the left side or can be pushed together on the right side of the frame or part of the folding door elements can be placed on the left side in the open position, while the remaining folding door elements on the right side of the frame in the open position can be parked folded up in order to achieve maximum opening of the frame.
  • the sliding door system preferably has a rotary wing and / or sliding rotary wing, in particular in the form of a glass door, on the left and / or right side, the rotary wing being linked to the frame by means of hinges.
  • the rotating sash which is linked to the frame by means of hinges, can be opened inwards and / or outwards, i. H. it can be swiveled out into a position in which it forms a 90 ° angle to the frame plane, so that after opening this rotating sash, the folding door elements can also be pushed into an open position on the side and displayed, so that the door elements as a whole are a flat package on the Form side of the frame, this package being perpendicular to the frame plane.
  • a single rotating leaf linked to the frame by means of hinges is arranged on one side of the sliding door system, with all further leaves in turn being arranged in packages of two leaves each foldable and displaceable.
  • the folding door elements can be pushed together on the side on which the rotating sash is arranged.
  • different arrangements are also possible.
  • the indication inside or outside means the view of the sliding door system, with the sliding door system separating an inner area from an outer area, such as a winter garden or a balcony. If a fixed railing is still arranged on the outside of the sliding door system, as in the case of a balcony, both optional rotating sashes and the folding door elements can only be opened to the inside, since the outer area is limited by the fixed railing.
  • the rotating leaves and the folding door elements can be arranged and designed so that they are either pivoted or folded to the inside or pivoted and folded to the outside, or they can be opened and folded both to the inside and to the outside to allow. This achieves maximum flexibility of the system.
  • the various configurations can be implemented by correspondingly designing the bearings of the door elements in or on the frame and the joint arrangement between the two door elements.
  • the sliding doors and / or rotating leaves preferably have a safety device, in particular a pin safety device and / or a catch against unintentional opening.
  • a lock in particular a lockable lock, in particular a circular bolt lock and / or a tongue lock such as a mailbox lock, can be arranged cumulatively or alternatively.
  • a lock is preferably arranged on the rotary vane.
  • each folding door element can be locked and folded individually in any position by locking and unlocking.
  • the sliding doors are preferably movably mounted in the area of the joint arrangement, in particular in the axial alignment of the axis of rotation of the joint arrangement, by means of a roller and / or a slider in a guide rail of the frame, the guide rail having a recess in an open position of the sliding door so that the the roller and / or slider arranged in the area of the joint arrangement, in particular in the axial alignment of the axis of rotation of the joint arrangement, perpendicular to the frame plane from the guide rail and thus from the frame plane.
  • the sliding doors in the area of the hinge arrangement are movably engaged in a guide rail of the frame by means of a roller and / or a slider and / or a pin roller and / or slider and / or pin arranged in the axial alignment of the axis of rotation of the joint arrangement can be disengaged from the guide rail, so that the area of the joint arrangement can emerge perpendicular to the frame plane from the guide rail and thus from the frame plane.
  • each wing package can be individually disengaged from the guide rail in any position by locking and unlocking, and thus foldable and open.
  • Both door elements of the folding door elements are particularly preferably designed as glass doors, in particular as frameless glass doors. Alternatively, it is also possible that other materials, such as aluminum doors or the like, are used.
  • the door elements of the folding door elements are designed as glass doors, these are preferably made of safety glass and / or insulating glass.
  • the sliding folding door systems according to the invention can also be used in the warm area, i.e. for example in heated winter gardens or as a living room closure to the terrace.
  • the use of the sliding folding door systems according to the invention is not restricted to this, since use in the cold area, that is to say in unheated winter gardens and the like, is also possible.
  • the sliding folding door systems according to the invention can thus also be used in the warm area, ie for example in heated winter gardens or as a living room closure to the terrace.
  • the glass doors have double glazing.
  • the insulating glazing can be frameless or insulating glass panes can be arranged in frames which form the folding door elements. In order to achieve optimal insulation and sealing, these frames can have seals.
  • the seals can in particular be designed in such a way that a rubber lip or the like on the one door element engages in a U- or V-shaped recess or groove on the articulated connection of the two door elements and / or a pinch seal is arranged to close the folding door element in the closed state to be sealed against the environment in the area of the articulated connection of the two door elements.
  • Such sealing arrangements from a lip and a U- or V-shaped Recess or groove and / or pinch seals are preferably also arranged on the outer edges of the folding door elements in order to ensure effective sealing of the entire system in the closed state of the sliding folding door system.
  • these seals cause the folding door elements to be sealed against one another in the contact areas, and also to seal the folding door elements against the frame.
  • the folding door elements or the two door elements forming the folding door elements can be designed in almost any height / width ratio. Preferably, however, the maximum height-to-width aspect ratio for a single door element is equal to 5 to 1.
  • the frame is formed by several frame sections that have one or more angles, so that several frame planes are formed that enclose angles with one another, with the sliding doors in particular being movable beyond the angles along the frame sections, in particular by the hinge arrangement leaves the frame plane of a first frame section when the sliding doors have been moved horizontally along the first frame section up to the angle and the direction of travel is changed from the frame plane of the first frame section to the frame plane of the adjoining frame section until both sliding door bearings are in the frame plane of this second frame section .
  • the frame sections are particularly preferably connected to one another in such a way that the folding doors can be moved beyond the angle between the frame sections, for example by making the guide rail continuous and in particular having a radius instead of a sharp bend.
  • Moving the folding doors beyond the angle is particularly possible in that the hinge arrangement leaves the frame plane of the first frame section when the sliding doors have been moved horizontally along the first frame section up to the angle and the direction of movement is from the frame plane of the first frame section to the frame plane of the subsequent second frame section is changed until both bearings of the sliding door have entered the frame plane of this second frame section and thus the hinge axis between the two door elements has also entered the second frame plane.
  • This movement process thus describes the shifting over an angle when the folding door element is not folded
  • the folding door element can be set up before the angular range is reached, in that the hinge arrangement is pivoted out of the first frame plane. The folding door element is then moved beyond the angle into the second frame level in the folded, i.e. opened state.
  • the angles included between the frame sections can be right angles. However, any angle deviating from a right angle is also possible; in particular, interior angles of 135 ° can be formed like a stop sign. However, interior angles can also be formed which are smaller than a right angle if this is structurally desired. Such angular systems preferably have any interior angles in the range from 90 ° to 180 °.
  • the folding door element By pivoting the hinge arrangement out of the frame plane until, for example, an acute angle is included between the door elements, the folding door element can be moved along the frame and beyond an angle without the rails of the frame outwardly in the area of the angle be swept over by the folding door element.
  • This arrangement is therefore also suitable for balconies in which a parapet is arranged on the outside of the frame and the folding door elements can be moved over the angles.
  • a plurality of folding door elements are preferably provided in the sliding door system, which can be moved to an opening position on one or both sides along the frame plane, the folding door elements being openable by pivoting the respective hinge arrangement out of the frame plane so that the folding door elements on one or both Sides of the frame in the open position form a package of door elements lying flat on top of one another.
  • this rotating sash can, in the open position, form the first layer of such a package of door elements lying flat on top of one another.
  • the hinge arrangement has an additional lock, by means of which the hinge arrangement can be locked independently of the angle, in particular at an acute angle between the two door elements, so that a pivoting movement of one door element against the other door element is blocked.
  • the two door elements of the folding door element are connected to one another in an articulated manner on the hinge line running vertically in the middle between the door elements, the two door elements can be blocked and fixed in any desired position, for example in order to only prevent large wind loads to open a gap and prevent further automatic opening under the wind load, if this is desired.
  • Such a locking of the hinge arrangement can also block the folding door element in a certain opening position, for example at an acute angle enclosed between the door elements, for example 30 °, in order to facilitate the displacement of the folding door element along the frame and to prevent the folding door element from tilting. which could possibly occur with complete opening, ie when the two door elements lie flat or almost flat against one another. It has been shown that moving along the frame is facilitated if a certain acute angle between the two door elements is not undershot, and a complete pivoting into the open position, in which the two door elements run parallel or almost parallel to one another, only takes place, when the desired parking position in the frame is reached.
  • This locking is preferably designed in such a way that the door elements are automatically and releasably blocked at an acute angle of, for example, 30 °, in order to facilitate the displacement of the folding door element along the frame and to prevent the folding door element from tilting, with the door element being locked at an acute angle when moving Door element against the frame on the side or against another door element already in the parking position on the side of the frame automatically releases the lock so that the door elements can be pushed together until they lie flat against one another.
  • the lock can be formed by a scissors system, whereby when the door elements are set up a latching takes place when the door elements have reached a certain acute angle, a release mechanism being actuated when the folding door element against the frame or against an already in the open position, ie Folding door element displaced in the parking position is displaced so that the lock is released and the folding door element can be pushed together flat.
  • the locking can be manually unlocked in any position of the folding door element within the frame.
  • the hinge arrangement preferably has an additional lock, by means of which the hinge arrangement can be locked at an angle between the two door elements of 180 °, so that a pivoting movement of one door element against the other door element is blocked.
  • This bracket is preferably designed in such a way that by means of this bracket a releasable locking of the hinge arrangement at an angle of 180 ° between the two door elements and at at least one further angle, in particular an acute angle, in particular in the range of 30 ° to 60 ° between the two Door elements a releasable locking of the joint arrangement can take place.
  • the slotted guide can be realized by a pin arranged at the free end of the bracket, which engages in a slotted guide on the hinge part or a frame part of the second door element, this slotted guide having a locking position or detent position, so that a releasable locking in the desired angular position of the two Door elements to each other is created.
  • the joint arrangement preferably has an additional locking device, which is formed by an axially displaceable, in particular spring-loaded, hinge pin which is arranged in a rotationally fixed manner with respect to a first hinge part and has a feather key which, in the disengaged axial position, engages in a groove of a second hinge part and locks the joint arrangement, so that a pivoting movement of one door element against the other door element is blocked.

  • the angular position of the groove in the second hinge part, into which the feather key of the axially disengageable hinge pin moves and locks the hinge arrangement, is chosen so that the lock engages at the desired angle between the two door elements.
  • the axially disengageable hinge pin and the hinge parts forming the hinge are preferably designed in such a way that by means of this arrangement a releasable locking of the hinge arrangement both at an angle of 180 ° between the two door elements and at at least one further angle, in particular an acute angle, in particular in the area from 30 ° to 60 ° a releasable locking of the joint arrangement can take place between the two door elements.
  • the hinge arrangement has an additional locking device, which is formed by a flexible band which encompasses the hinge arrangement on the outside and which is attached to a door element and the free end of which has a latching element which, in at least one intermediate position, is inserted into a recess on the other door element releasably retracts, so that the hinge arrangement is blocked in at least this intermediate position between the closed position and complete opening, in particular at an acute angle between the two door elements, so that a further pivoting movement of one door element against the other door element is blocked in this intermediate position.
  • an additional locking device is formed by a flexible band which encompasses the hinge arrangement on the outside and which is attached to a door element and the free end of which has a latching element which, in at least one intermediate position, is inserted into a recess on the other door element releasably retracts, so that the hinge arrangement is blocked in at least this intermediate position between the closed position and complete opening, in particular at an acute angle between the two door elements, so that a further pivoting movement

  • the locking element can be formed, for example, by a bolt running transversely at the free end of the band, which protrudes beyond the band on both sides. Such a bolt is therefore suitable for use as a locking element and retracting into a correspondingly arranged recess and blocking further movement.
  • an acute angle has been shown to be the included angle between the two door elements, in particular an angle in the range from 30 ° to 60 °.
  • the hinge arrangement preferably has at least one pretensioned spring, in particular a leaf spring and / or torsion spring, which, when the opening angle between the two hinged door elements falls below 180 °, reduces the angle enclosed between the two hinged door elements and thus automatically folds the Folding door element causes.
  • the hinge arrangement between the two hingedly connected door elements is preferably releasable in order to be able to set up the two door elements independently of one another and to be able to move them along the frame.
