Definitions

  • the invention is based on an electrical installation kit according to the type of the independent claim.
  • the invention has for its object to design an electrical installation kit of this type so that the quickest possible, clear and error-free electrical installation of machines and systems is possible, directly at the control cabinet or at the installation site.
  • the installation kit should enable assembly and maintenance that does not require specially trained specialist personnel.
  • a multi-pole electrical connector which is used to lead a wiring harness through the partition between the engine and passenger compartments of a vehicle.
  • the known connector has as a basic element an insertable into the through opening of the partition and this tightly closing multi-pin connector receptacle, which is firmly connected to one strand of the wiring harness and is equipped with contact sockets and contact pins such that, depending on the vehicle type, one or more, with or plug parts connected to further sections of the wiring harness can be inserted in the correct position.
  • This version offers only a limited number of slots, which obviously cannot be enlarged arbitrarily because of the different design of the contact elements, without the clarity being lost.
  • an installation kit composed of the plug-in connection elements shown could obviously not offer the variety of installation tasks required for machines and systems.
  • a similar embodiment shows and describes GB-A 13 93 059, in which a plurality of strip-shaped plug-in modules, each with a row of connector receptacles, can be fastened next to one another on a flat support and together form a grid of contact sockets with the same spacing in both coordinate directions of the grid.
  • Individual contact elements are connected to one or more other contact elements in accordance with a specific contacting task, but apparently no measures have been taken to ensure the correct assignment of plug parts and plug receptacles.
  • This version would also lack the clarity required for the electrical installation of machines and systems with a greater number of slots.
  • an electrical connector device with several, multi-pole connector receptacles in which the internal wiring between the connector receptacles can be easily changed.
  • This device has a container-like housing, on the side walls of which the plug receptacles are seated, the individual contacts of which are connected to plug contacts fastened to the housing base via printed circuits mounted on curved carrier plates. These are grouped together into plug modules and are connected to each other via individual wires, the ends of which are provided with contact pins, depending on the specification of the application.
  • This version requires specialized specialists for individual wiring and is obviously not suitable for installations via which higher electrical power is also to be transmitted.
  • FIG. 1 shows the plugged and linked use of all the individual modules belonging to the installation kit 10. All modules are matched plug-in modules which have matching plug parts provided with contact pins and / or plug receptacles provided with contact sockets.
  • the central element of the kit 10 is a plug distributor 20, which carries a total of eight 7-pin plug receptacles 21 as well as a 40-pin connector 22 common to all plug receptacles 21 or a corresponding socket, which is centered between two parallel rows with four plug receptacles 21 each is arranged.
  • the connector plug 22 is of a conventional type. A known plug, which is provided with corresponding sockets, can be inserted therein and is electrically connected to a switch cabinet, not shown, via cables.
  • Fig. 1 shows that, as an alternative to the connector 22, a cable 23 can lead directly into the plug distributor 20.
  • the connections of both the connector 22 and all eight connector receptacles 21 are combined on a common circuit board 24.
  • the two-part housing 25 of the plug distributor 20, which is made of plastic in particular, has a continuous seal 27 on its upper side 26 for four plug receptacles 21, which is glued on.
  • the seal 27 is recessed substantially at 28 for the passage of each connector part to the interior of each connector receptacle 21.
  • Each individual plug receptacle 21 of the plug distributor 20 is assigned an approximately square protective cap 29, which is placed on the individual plug receptacle 21 when it is not in use and covers it with compression of the seal 27, in accordance with the respective required degree of protection, in a moisture-proof manner.
  • Two molded, z. B. diametrically arranged, centering pins 19 engage positively in two associated contact sockets 30 and ensure a perfect fit.
  • the individual contact sockets 30 of each individual plug receptacle 21 are located in the housing 25 and end shortly before the upper side 26 thereof.
  • the seven contact sockets 30 of each individual plug receptacle 21 of the plug distributor 20 are grouped along a rectangular line. In the center of the plug receptacle there is a firmly inserted threaded bushing 31. If the plug receptacles 21 are closed by protective caps 29, a threaded screw 32 held on the protective cap 29 engages with its threaded shoulder in each threaded bushing 31. When the threaded screw 32 is tightened, the seal 27 is pressed together and the protective cap 29 is held tightly against the plug receptacle 21. The threaded screw 32 is axially secured against displacement and at the same time captive on the protective cap 29 by means of a snap ring 33.
  • the basic structure is similarly designed as a further plug-in module belonging to the kit 10, a coupling 12 (Fig. 16-18), which is provided with an electrical supply line 13 (Fig. 1).
  • a coupling 12 (Fig. 16-18), which is provided with an electrical supply line 13 (Fig. 1).
  • the feed line is still missing. It is to be led through a housing opening 14 into the interior of the housing 15 and to be electrically connected.
  • the coupling 12 is provided with only a 7-pin plug receptacle 21, which is designed in exactly the same way as each plug receptacle 21 of the plug distributor 20.
  • a seal 27 with a rectangular recess extends around the plug receptacle 21 on the upper side.
  • a fixed threaded bushing 31 is located in the center of the plug receptacle.
  • the plug receptacle 21 of the coupling 12 can be closed by means of the protective cap 29 when not in use.
  • a plug is inserted into the plug receptacle 21, the plug position of which is then additionally secured by screwing the threaded screw into the threaded bushing 31.
  • the same reference numerals are therefore used as for the plug receptacle 21 of the plug distributor 20, in order to make it particularly clear that each plug receptacle 21 of the plug distributor 20 with regard to the design and arrangement of the contact sockets 30 of the plug receptacle 21 the clutch 12 is designed entirely accordingly.
  • the kit 10 also includes adapters 34 (Fig. 1) and 35 (Fig. 12-15).
  • the adapter 34 has a 7-pin connector part fixed to the housing with contact pins protruding from the adapter housing.
  • the adapter 34 is provided with an electrical supply line, which in the example in FIG. 1 consists of the supply line 13 leading to the coupling 12 in one case or of the supply line 36 which leads to a motor 37, which is only indicated schematically.
  • the adapter 34 with a 7-pin plug part is inserted into an assigned 7-pin plug receptacle 21 of the plug distributor 20.
  • the adapter 35 has two or even four plug parts 38 of identical design, each of which has seven contact pins 40 protruding from the adapter housing 39.
  • the contact pins 40 of each connector part 38 are also grouped along a rectangular line (FIG. 13), so that the contact pins 40 of a connector part 38 when attached gene of an adapter 34 or 35 on the plug distributor 20 engage in a precise fit in a plug receptacle 21 or two plug receptacles located next to one another, the adapter 35 then being aligned parallel to the row with four plug receptacles 21 of the plug distributor 20.
  • the adapter 35 In the center of the plug part 38, the adapter 35 carries a screw 41, which is threaded at least at the end and which can be screwed into a threaded socket 31 of the plug receptacle 21 when the adapter 35 is inserted. By tightening the threaded screw 41, the inserted adapter 35 is secured in the plugged position.
  • the threaded screw 41 is held axially securely and captively by means of a snap ring 42.
  • the screw 41 helps in such a way that when the screw 41 is loosened, the adapter 35 with its contact pins 40 is pressed out of the contact sockets 30 of a plug receptacle 21 of the plug distributor 20 until the threaded engagement of the screw 41 stops.
  • the adapter 34 (FIG. 1) has only one plug part 38 with seven contact pins 40.
  • the adapter 35 according to FIGS. 12-15 has two such plug parts in a housing 39 38 united.

  • the 4-pin connector receptacles 52 are designed to insert specially adapted individual connectors 80 (FIGS. 19-22).
  • the connector part 51 is constructed in terms of the design and arrangement of its contact pins 53 in exactly the same way as each connector part 38 of the adapter 35.
  • a screw 54 is arranged, which is provided at least at the end with a threaded shoulder and which is held axially displaceably and captively by means of a snap ring 55.
  • the plug-in strip 50 can be inserted with its plug part 51 into one of the plug receptacles 21 of the plug distributor 20, in which case the plug-in strip 50 extends approximately at right angles to the row with four plug receptacles 21, that is to say it projects approximately at right angles in FIG. 1, as on the right is indicated.
  • the connector part 51 and the four connector receptacles 52 of the connector strip 50 are arranged along a row and in succession. All connections of the connector receptacles 52 and of the connector part 51 are combined on a common printed circuit board 56 which has a flexible conductor element 57 which bridges a step arrangement.
  • the contact pins 53 of the plug part 51 protrude from the housing 58 and protrude to one side.
  • the four connector receptacles 52 are located on the opposite side of the housing 58 and are arranged there in a recessed manner. Each connector receptacle 52 is preceded by a receiving opening 59 into which a single connector 80 fits.
  • the four contact sockets 60 of each connector receptacle 52 are along a square line, e.g. B. a rectangular line, grouped symmetrically.

  • the cover cap 62 carries a sealing ring 65, which is designed here as an 0-ring.
  • the sealing ring 65 is seated in the throat area of the cover cap where the section 63 that fits into the receiving opening 59 merges into a larger flange area 66.
  • the cover cap 62 contains a threaded screw 67 which, in the manner already explained, is axially secured by means of a snap ring 68 and held captive.
  • the threaded screw 67 engages in the threaded bushing 61, the sealing ring 65 being deformed when the threaded screw 67 is tightened under sealing pressure between the flange region 66 and the depression 64 and the upper side of the housing 58.
  • Each cap 62 carries two integral, z. B. diametrically arranged, centering pins 73 which engage in two associated contact sockets 60. The centering pins 73 also provide the correct position for the cover cap 62 and facilitate its correct placement.
  • the receiving openings 59 on the one hand and the sections 63 of the cover caps 62 fitting into them on the other hand are each asymmetrical in cross section, for. B. out of round or asymmetrical oval.
  • the latter is the case in the embodiment shown.
  • the oval has two long sides that are roughly parallel to each other and that are connected on one half by a different arc line than on the opposite side. This shape means that only a single insertion position is specified.
  • the housing 58 and, in an associated manner, the cover cap 62 are also provided with a notch 69 and 70, respectively.
  • Each connector receptacle 52 of the connector strip 50 is assigned two light-emitting diodes which are combined to form a component 71 and which are contained in the housing 58.
