Claims (19)
1. Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af struktureret materiale, kendetegnet ved trinnene: (a) tilvejebringelse af cellulosefibre; (b) tilvejebringelse af mindst et fyldstof og/eller pigment; (c) kombination af cellulosefibrene ifølge trin a) og det mindst ene fyldstof og/eller pigment ifølge trin b); (d) fibrillering af cellulosefibrene i et vandigt miljø under tilstedeværelse af det mindst ene fyldstof og/eller pigment, indtil en nano-fibrillær cellulosegel er dannet, hvor dannelse af gelerne er verificeret ved monitorering af viskositeten af blandingen afhængig af forskydningshastigheden, hvor viskositetsaftageisen af blandingen ved trinvis forøgelse af forskydningshastigheden er stærkere end den tilsvarende viskositetsforøgelse ved efterfølgende trinvis reduktion af forskydningshastigheden over mindst en del af forskydningshastighedsområdet, idet forskydning nærmer sig nul; (e) tilvejebringelse af yderligere non-fibrillerede fibre; (f) kombination af gelen ifølge trin d) med fibrene ifølge trin e).
2. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 1, kendetegnet ved, at kombinationen ifølge trin f) er afvandet i afvandingstrin g).
3. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 eller 2, kendetegnet ved, at cellulosefibrene ifølge trin a) og/eller e) er uafhængigt valgt fra sådanne indeholdt i fibermasser valgt fra gruppen omfattende i eukalyptusfibermasse, grantræsfibermasse, fyrretræsfibermasse, bøgetræsfibermasse, hampfibermasse, bomuldsfibermasse, bambusfibermasse, bagasse, såvel som genanvendt og/eller afsværtet fibermasse, og blandinger deraf.
4. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, kendetegnet ved, at cellulosefibrene ifølge trin a) er tilvejebragt i form af en suspension, fortrinsvis som har et faststofindhold på fra 0,2 til 35 vægtprocent, mere fortrinsvis 0,25 til 10 vægtprocent, endnu mere fortrinsvis 0,5 til 5 vægtprocent, i særdeleshed 1 til 4 vægtprocent, mest fortrinsvis 1,3 til 3 vægtprocent, f.eks. 1,5 vægtprocent.
5. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, kendetegnet ved, at fyldstoffet og/eller pigmentet ifølge trin b) er valgt fra gruppen omfattende udfældet kalciumkarbonat (PCC), naturligt jordkalciumkarbonat (GCC), overflademodificeret kalciumkarbonat; dolomit; talkum; bentonit; ler; magnesit; satinhvidt; sepiolit, huntit, diatomit; silikater; og blandinger deraf; og fortrinsvis er valgt fra gruppen af udfældet kalciumkarbonat, som har vateritisk, kalcitisk eller aragonitisk krystalstruktur, i særdeleshed ultrafint diskret prismatisk, scalenohedrisk eller rhombohedrisk udfældet kalciumkarbonat; hvor naturligt jordkalciumkarbonat er valgt fra marmor, kalksten og/eller kalk; og blandinger deraf.
6. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, kendetegnet ved, at fyldstof- og/eller pigmentpartiklerne ifølge trin b) har en gennemsnitlig partikelstørrelse på fra 0,01 til 15 pm, fortrinsvis 0,1 til 10 pm, mere fortrinsvis 0,3 til 5 pm, i særdeleshed fra 0,5 til 4 pm og mest fortrinsvis 0,7 til 3,2 pm, f.eks. 2 pm.
7. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, kendetegnet ved, at før, under eller efter tilføjelsen af yderligere fibre i trin e), men efter trin d) og før trin f), mindst et yderligere fyldstof og/eller pigment er tilføjet, som er fortrinsvis valgt fra gruppen omfattende udfældet kalciumkarbonat; naturligt jordkalciumkarbonat; overflademodificeret kalciumkarbonat; dolomit; talkum; bentonit; ler; magnesit; satinhvidt; sepiolit, huntit, diatomit; silikater; og blandinger deraf; og fortrinsvis er valgt fra gruppen af udfældet kalciumkarbonat som har vateritisk, kalcitisk eller aragonitisk krystalstruktur, i særdeleshed ultrafint diskret prismatisk, scalenohedrisk eller rhombohedrisk udfældet kalciumkarbonat; hvor naturligt jordkalciumkarbonat er valgt fra marmor, kalksten og/eller kalk; og blandinger deraf.
8. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 7, kendetegnet ved, at den mindst ene yderligere fyldstofs- og/eller pigmentpartikel har en gennemsnitlig partikelstørrelse på fra 0,01 til 5 pm, fortrinsvis 0,05 til 1,5 pm, mere fortrinsvis 0,1 til 0,8 pm og mest fortrinsvis 0,2 til 0,5 pm, f.eks. 0,3 pm.
9. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, kendetegnet ved, at fyldstoffet og/eller pigmentet ifølge trin b) og/eller det mindst ene yderligere fyldstof og/eller pigment er associeret med dispergeringsmidler valgt fra gruppen omfattende homopolymerer eller copolymerer af polycarboxylsyrer og/eller deres salte eller derivater såsom estere baserede på, f.eks., akrylsyre, methakrylsyre, maleinsyre, fumarsyre, itaconsyre; f.eks. akrylamid- eller akrylestere såsom methylmethacrylat, eller blandinger deraf; alkali polyfosfater, phosphonsyre, citronsyre og vinsyre og saltene eller estere deraf; eller blanding deraf.
10. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, kendetegnet ved, at kombinationen af fibre og af mindst et fyldstof og/eller pigment ifølge trin b) er udført ved at tilføje fyldstoffet og/eller pigmentet til fibrene, eller fibrene til fyldstoffet og/eller pigmentet i et eller flere trin.
11. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, kendetegnet ved, at fyldstoffet og/eller pigmentet ifølge trin b) og/eller fibrene ifølge trin a) er tilføjet fuldkomment eller i portioner før eller under fibrilleringstrin (d), fortrinsvis før fibrilleringstrin (d).
12. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, kendetegnet ved, at vægtforholdet mellem fibre og fyldstof og/eller pigment ifølge trin b) på en tørvægtsbasis er fra 1 : 33 til 10 : 1, mere fortrinsvis 1 : 10 til 7 : 1, endnu mere fortrinsvis 1 : 5 til 5 : 1, typisk 1 : 3 til 3 : 1, i særdeleshed 1 : 2 til 2 : 1 og mest fortrinsvis 1 : 1,5 til 1,5 : 1, f.eks. 1 : 1.
13. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, kendetegnet ved, at fibrilleringen udføres ved hjælp af en homogenisator eller en ultrafin friktionsknuser.
14. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, kendetegnet ved, at de yderligere non-fibrillerede fibre ifølge trin e) er i form af et fibernetværk.
15. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, kendetegnet ved, at det strukturerede materiale er et papir.
16. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 15, kendetegnet ved, at mængden af gel udtrykt ved celluloseindholdet af gelen i forhold til de yderligere non-fibrillerede fibre (tør/tørvægtsbasis) kan være omkring 0,5 til 20 vægtprocent, fortrinsvis 1 til 15 vægtprocent, 2 til 10 vægtprocent, 3 til 6 vægtprocent, f.eks. 5 vægtprocent.
17. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 15 eller 6, kendetegnet ved, at det samlede indhold af fyldstof og/eller pigment på en tørvægtsbasis af det strukturerede materiale er fra 1 vægtprocent til 60 vægtprocent, fortrinsvis fra 5 vægtprocent til 50 vægtprocent, mere fortrinsvis fra 10 til 45 vægtprocent, endnu mere fortrinsvis fra 25 vægtprocent til 40 vægtprocent, i særdeleshed fra 30 til 35 vægtprocent.
18. Anvendelsen af en nanofibrillær cellulosegel som defineret i et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 17 til fremstillingen af struktureret materiale ved kombination af gelen med yderligere fibre, og efterfølgende afvanding af kombinationen.
19. Struktureret materiale opnået med fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af krav 1 til 17 eller anvendelsen ifølge krav 18, som fortrinsvis er et papir.
