Description
- Die Erfindung betrifft eine Ölzusammensetzung zur Kälteerzeugung, insbesondere ein Schmieröl für eine Kühlanlage oder ein Kühlmaschinenöl, umfassend ein hydriertes Fluorethan.
- Die Verwendung von Dichlordifluormethan (R-12) in Kühlanlagen und Klimaanlagen für Automobile wurde kürzlich beschränkt und wird in Zukunft verboten sein, um die Ozonschicht zu schützen. Daher wurden verschiedene Fluorethan-Kältemittel als Ersatz für R-12 entwickelt, welche die Ozonschicht nicht zerstören.
- Da diese Fluorethan-Kältemittel eine höhere Polarität als diejenige von R-12 besitzen, weisen sie eine niedrige Kompatibilität mit Schmiermitteln auf, die gewöhnlich als Kältemaschinenöl verwendet werden, wie Naphthen-Minerealöl, Poly-α-olefin oder Alkylbenzole. Dadurch wird eine Phasentrennung bei niedrigen Temperaturen bewirkt. Falls dieses Phänomen auftritt, verschlechtert sich der Ölrücklauf und ein dicker Ölfilm haftet um einen Kühler oder einen Verdampfer als Wärmeaustauscher, wodurch eine Wärmeübertragung verhindert wird und zu hauptsächlichen Defekten, wie schwache Schmierung, Blasenbildung beim Start usw., führt. Demgemäß können herkömmliche Kältemaschinenöle nicht als Kältemaschinenöl in einer Atmosphäre dieser neuen Kältemittel verwendet werden.
- Bezüglich der Schmiereigenschaft ist R-12 wirksam insofern, als es partiell zersetzt ist, um Wasserstoffchlorid zu erzeugen, das mit der Friktionsoberfläche unter Ausbildung eines Chloridfilms reagiert, welcher seine Schmiereigenschaft verbessert. Da Fluorethan-Kältemittel, die ein Chloratom(e) enthalten, wie Pentafluorethan, 1,1,1-Trifluorethan oder 1,1-Difluorethan, solch eine Wirkung nicht erwarten lassen, muß ein Kältemaschinenöl, das in Kombination mit diesen verwendet wird, eine höhere Schmiereigenschaft als diejenige herkömmlicher Kältemaschinenöle besitzen.
- Weiterhin muß das Kältemaschinenöl eine hohe Stabilität in einer Kältemittel-Atmosphäre besitzen und nicht irgendwelche nachteilige Wirkungen auf organische Materialien, wie Isoliermaterial, das für eine Kühlanlage oder einen Schlauch für die Verwendung in Autoklimaanlagen verwendet wird, zu erzeugen.
- Um das Problem der schwachen Kompatibilität des Schmieröls mit den Fluorethan-Kältemitteln zu lösen, wurde ein Polyether- Schmieröl vorgeschlagen. Da dieser Typ eines Schmieröls eine höhere Polarität als diejenige eines Naphthen-Mineralöls besitzt, weist es eine gute Kompatibilität mit diesen Kältemitteln bei niedrigen Temperaturen auf. Wie jedoch in US-Patent Nr. 4 755 316 beschrieben ist, ist das Polyether-Schmieröl insofern nachteilig, als bei Anstieg der Temperatur es leicht eine Phasentrennung verursacht, so daß es nicht zuverlässig als Kältemaschinenöl verwendet werden kann.
- Für das Polyether-Schmieröl existieren noch einige andere Probleme. Eines davon ist, daß es aufgrund seiner hohen Polarität mit dem in der Kühlanlage verwendeten Material, wie einem PET- Film, wechselwirkt und nachteilige Effekte verursacht. Ein weiteres Problem liegt in seiner hohen Hygroskopizität. Die Feuchtigkeit in diesem Schmieröl verringert seine thermische Stabilität in einer Kältemittel-Atmosphäre und verursacht eine Hydrolyse des organischen Materials, beispielsweise des PET-Films.
- Des weiteren besitzt das Polyether-Schmieröl keine vollständig zufriedenstellenden Schmiereigenschaften. Im Vergleich mit dem herkömmlichen R-12-Naphthen-Mineralölsystem besitzt das Fluorethan-Kältemittel-Polyether-Schmierölsystem nur eine schwache Schmiereigenschaft.
- Verschiedene Verfahren der Verwendung von Estern in Kombination mit Fluormethan wurden vorgeschlagen und sind offenbart in beispielsweise den japanischen Patentoffenlegungsschriften Nr. 131548/1981, 133241/1981, 181895/1986 und 592/1987. Die Verwendung von mit einem anderen Schmieröl gemischten Estern ist offenbart in den japanischen Patentoffenlegungsschriften Nr. 125494/1981, 125495/1981 und 62596/1986. Weiterhin ist die Verwendung von Estern zusammen mit Additiven in den japanischen Patentoffenlegungsschriften Nr. 155093/1980, 36570/1981, 125494/1981, 15592/1983, 103594/1983, 171799/1986 und 292895/1987 beschrieben. Jedoch sind sämtliche dieser Verfahren nach dem Stand der Technik auf Systeme gerichtet, die in Kombination mit Dichlordifluormethan(R-12 ) - oder Monochlordifluormethan( R-22)- Kältemitteln verwendet werden, erwähnen jedoch nicht das Fluorethan-Kältemittel. Darüberhinaus ist das Ziel dieser Verfahren die Verbesserung der thermischen Stabilität in einer R-12- oder R-22-Atmosphäre. Die japanischen Patentoffenlegungsschriften Nr. 143609/1978 und 164393/1984 erwähnen die Kompatibilität mit R-12 oder R-22 zusätzlich zu der Verbesserung der thermischen Stabilität in R-12- oder R-22-Atmosphäre. Jedoch ist die erstere auf die Verhinderung einer überschüssigen Auflösung in R-12 und die letztere in R-22 gerichtet. Mit anderen Worten, sie erwähnen nicht eine Verbesserung der Kompatibilität mit dem Fluorethan-Kältemittel.
- Wie vorstehend beschrieben, ist der Stand der Technik nicht auf die Entwicklung eines Kältemaschinenöls mit ausgezeichneter Kompatibilität, thermischer Stabilität und Schmiermitteleigenschaften in einer Fluorethan-Kältemittelatmosphäre gerichtet.
- Demgemäß ist Aufgabe der Erfindung, ein Kältemaschinenöl zu schaffen, das eine genügende Viskosität und hohe Kompatibilität mit dem Fluorethan-Kältemittel sowohl bei niedrigen und hohen Temperaturen und eine ausgezeichnete thermische Stabilität und Schmiereigenschaften in dieser Kältemittelatmosphäre besitzt.
- Als Ergebnis intensiver Untersuchungen haben die Erfinder festgestellt, daß bestimmte Arten von Esterverbindungen die vorstehend genannten Ziele erfüllen können.
- Die erfindungsgemäße Ölzusammensetzung für die Kälteerzeugung umfaßt (1), ein hydriertes Fluorethan, und (2), eine Esterverbindung, erhalten aus (2-a), einem aliphatischen mehrwertigen Alkohol mit 1 bis 6 primären Hydroxydgruppen, (2-b), einer gesättigten aliphatischen Monocarbonsäure mit 2 bis 9 Kohlenstoffatomen, gerade oder verzweigt, oder einem Derivat davon und (2- c), einer gesättigten aliphatischen Dicarbonsäure mit 2 bis 10 Kohlenstoffatomen, gerade oder verzweigt, oder einem Derivat davon, wobei die Esterverbindung eine kinematische Viskosität bei 100º C im Bereich von 1 bis 100 x 10&supmin;&sup6; m²/s (cSt) besitzt.
- Es ist bevorzugt, daß das Gewichtsverhältnis von (1) dem hydrierten Fluorethan zu (2) der Esterverbindung im Bereich von 10/1 bis 1/5, insbesondere von 5/1 bis 1/2 liegt.
- Die vorstehend genannte Zusammensetzung kann weiterhin ein anderes Schmiermittel in einem Gewichtsverhältnis zu der Esterverbindung von bis zu 95 Gew.-% enthalten.
- Die Esterverbindung kann eine kinematische Viskosität bei 100º C im Bereich von 1 bis 20 x 10&supmin;&sup6; m²/s (cSt) oder 20 bis 100 x 10&supmin;&sup6; m²/s (cSt) besitzen.
- Eine bevorzugte Esterverbindung wird erhalten aus (2-a), einem aliphatischen zweiwertigen Alkohol mit 1 bis 2 primären Hydroxylgruppen, genannt (d); (2-b), einer gesättigten aliphatischen Monocarbonsäure mit 2 bis 9 Kohlenstoffatomen, gerade oder verzweigt, oder einem Derivat davon; und (2-c), einer gesättigten aliphatischen Dicarbonsäure mit 2 bis 8 Kohlenstoffatomen, gerade oder verzweigt, oder einem Derivat davon, genannt (e).
- Die Esterverbindung kann erhalten werden aus 1 Mol (2-a), 4 Mol oder weniger (2-b) und 0,9 Mol oder weniger (2-c). Die Esterverbindung kann einen Verseifungswert von 330 mg KOH/g oder mehr besitzen. Das hydrierte Fluorethan kann 1,1,1,2-Tetrafluorethan sein.
- Daher schafft die Erfindung ein Kältemaschinenöl für die Verwendung in einer hydrierten Fluorethan-Kältemittelatmosphäre, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es ein Basisöl, einen Ester enthält, erhalten aus:
- (a) einem aliphatischen mehrwertigen Alkohol mit ein bis sechs primären Hydroxylgruppen;
- (b) einer C&sub2; bis C&sub9; geradkettigen oder verzweigten gesättigten aliphatischen Monocarbonsäure oder deren Derivat; und
- (c) einer C&sub2; bis C&sub1;&sub0; geradkettigen oder verzweigten gesättigten aliphatischen Dicarbonsäure oder deren Derivat.
- Der aliphatische mehrwertige Alkohol als Komponente (a), der für die Herstellung des in der Erfindung verwendeten Esters verwendet wird, repräsentiert solche mehrwertigen Alkohole, bei denen eine bis sechs Hydroxylgruppen unter sämtlichen Hydroxylgruppen primäre sind. Bestimmte Beispiele davon umfassen gehinderte Alkohole, wie Neopenthylglycol, 2,2-Diethyl-1, 3-propandiol, 2-n- Butyl-2-ethyl-1,3,-propandiol, Trimethylolethan, Trimethylolpropan, Trimethylolnonan, Pentaerythritol und Dipentaerythritol; und mehrwertige Alkohole, wie Ethylenglycol, Diethylenglycol, Polyethylenglycol, Propylenglycol, Dipropylenglycol, Polypropylenglycol, 1,3-Propandiol, 1,2-Butandiol, 1,4-Butandiol, 1,6- Hexandiol, Glycerol, Diglycerol, Polyglycerol, 1,2,4-Butantriol, 1,2,6-Hexantriol, Sorbit und Mannit. Die Zahl der Kohlenstoffatome dieser aliphatischen mehrwertigen Alkohole liegt im Bereich von 2 bis 30, vorzugsweise 2 bis 20, insbesondere 2 bis 10. Falls die Zahl der Kohlenstoffatome höher als 30 ist, wird die Viskosität hoch und die Kompatibilität mit dem Fluorethan-Kältemittel nimmt ab. Falls die Zahl der primären Hydroxylgruppen höher als 6 ist, wird die Viskosität exzessiv hoch. Vom Aspekt der Wärmebeständigkeit aus betrachtet, sind gehinderte Alkohole insbesondere bevorzugt.
- Die Carbonsäure oder deren Derivat, die für die Herstellung in der Erfindung verwendeten Esters verwendet wird, umfaßt geradkettige und verzweigte gesättigte Monocarbonsäuren und deren Derivate als Komponente (b) und geradkettige und verzweigte gesättigte aliphatische Carbonsäuren und deren Derivate als Komponente (c).
- Die Zahl der Kohlenstoffatome der Monocarbonsäure als Komponente (b) liegt im Bereich von 2 bis 9, vorzugsweise 5 bis 8. Falls die Zahl der Kohlenstoffatome höher als 9 ist, wird die Kompatibilität mit dem Fluorethan-Kältemittel erniedrigt. Bestimmte Beispiele dieser Monocarbonsäuren und deren Derivate umfassen Essigsäure, Propionsäure, Buttersäure, Isobuttersäure, Valeriansäure, Isovaleriansäure, Pivalinsäure, 2-Methylbuttersäure, Capronsäure, 2-Methylvaleriansäure, 3-Methylvaleriansäure, 4- Methylvaleriansäure, 2,2-Dimethylbuttersäure, 2-Ethylbuttersäure, tert-Butylessigsäure, Enanthsäure, 2,2-Dimethylpentansäure, 2-Ethylpentansäure, 3-Ethylpentansäure, 2-Methylhexansäure (Isoheptansäure), 3-Methylhexansäure, 4-Methylhexansäure, 5-Methylhexansäure, Caprylsäure, 2-Ethylhexansäure, 3,5-Dimethylhexansäure, 2,2,-Dimethylhexansäure, 2-Methylheptansäure (Isooctansäure), 3-Methylheptansäure, 4-Methylheptansäure, 2-Propylpentansäure, Pelargonsäure, 2,2-Dimethylheptansäure, 3,5,5-Trimethylhexansäure, 2-Methyloctansäure, 2-Ethylheptansäure, 3-Methyloctansäure und deren Methylester, Ethylester und Säureanhydride.
- Die Zahl der Kohlenstoffatome der Dicarbonsäure der Komponente (c) liegt im Bereich von 2 bis 10. Falls sie höher als 10 ist, nimmt die Kompatibilität mit dem Fluorethan-Kältemittel ab. Bestimmte Beispiele dieser Dicarbonsäuren und deren Derivate umfassen Oxalsäure, Malonsäure, Methylmalonsäure, Bernsteinsäure, Ethylmalonsäure, Dimethylmalonsäure, Methylbernsteinsäure, Glutarsäure, Adipinsäure, 2,2-Dimethylbernsteinsäure, 2,3-Dimethylbernsteinsäure, 2-Methylglutarsäure, 3-Methylglutarsäure, Butylmalonsäure, Diethylmalonsäure, 2,2-Dimethylglutarsäure, 2,4-Dimethylglutarsäure, 3,3-Dimethylglutarsäure, 2-Ethyl-2- methylbernsteinsäure, 3-Methyladipinsäure, Pimelinsäure, Suberinsäure, 2,2-Dimethyladipinsäure, Azelainsäure, Sebacinsäure und deren Methylester, Ethylester und Säureanhydride.
- Die in der Erfindung verwendeten Ester werden durch Umsetzen der Komponenten (a) bis (c) zusammen erhalten.
- Die Kompatibilität des in der Erfindung verwendeten Esters mit dem Fluorethan-Kältemittel bei niedrigen Temperaturen nimmt im allgemeinen mit zunehmender Viskosität ab. Demgemäß ist die kinematische Viskosität des Esters bei 100º C, vorzugsweise nicht niedriger als 1 x 10&supmin;&sup6; m²/s (cSt) und nicht höher als 20 x 10&supmin;&sup6; m²/s (cSt), insbesondere ist sie nicht niedriger als 1 (cSt) und nicht höher als 15 x 10&supmin;&sup6; m²/s (cSt). Falls die kinematische Viskosität bei 100º C höher als 20 x 10&supmin;&sup6; m²/s (cSt) ist, nimmt die Kompatibilität mit dem Fluorethan-Kältemittel bei niedrigen Temperaturen ab. Andererseits ist der in der Erfindung verwendete Ester bezüglich der Schmiereigenschaft in einer Atmosphäre des Fluorethan-Kältemittels einem Polyether-Schmieröl überlegen. Unter den in der Erfindung verwendeten Estern besitzen solche mit einer höheren Viskosität bessere Schmiereigenschaften. Solche Ester mit einer kinematischen Viskosität von mehr als 20 x 10&supmin;&sup6; m²/s (cSt) bei 100º C sind besonders bevorzugt.
- Unter Betrachtung der Kompatibilität sind solche Ester, deren kinematische Viskosität bei 100º C nicht höher als 100 x 10&supmin;&sup6; m²/s (cSt) liegt, bevorzugt. Die in der Erfindung verwendeten Estern mit einer kinematischen Viskosität von mehr als 20 x 10&supmin;&sup6; m²/s (cSt) bei 100º C können als Basisöl und ebenso in einer Mischung mit den in der Erfindung verwendeten Estern, deren kinematische Viskosität bei 100º C nicht mehr als 20 x 10&supmin;&sup6; m²/s (cSt) beträgt, und mit anderen als den in der Erfindung verwendeten Estern oder mit synthetischen Ölen, wie Polyethern, verwendet werden. Falls die in der Erfindung verwendeten Ester in dieser Weise gemischt werden, kann die Schmiereigenschaft der in der Erfindung verwendeten Ester, deren kinematische Viskosität bei 100º C nicht höher als 20 x 10&supmin;&sup6; m²/s (cSt) liegt, der anderen Ester als in der Erfindung verwendet oder der synthetischen Öle, wie Polyether, verbessert werden. Betreffend der in der Erfindung verwendeten Ester, deren kinematische Viskosität bei 100º C höher als 20 x 10&supmin;&sup6; m²/s (cSt) liegt und deren Kompatibilität mit Fluorethan-Kältemittel bei niedrigen Temperaturen schwach ist, kann deren Kompatibilität mit dem Fluorethan-Kältemittel bei niedrigen Temperaturen verbessert werden durch deren Mischung mit den in der Erfindung verwendeten Estern, deren kinematische Viskosität bei 100º C nicht höher als 20 x 10&supmin;&sup6; m²/s (cSt) liegt, wie vorstehend beschrieben.
- Unter den in der Erfindung verwendeten Estern zeigen solche, erhalten aus einem zweiwertigen Alkohol (d) mit 1 bis 2 primären Hydroxylgruppen unter der Komponente (a), der C&sub2; bis C&sub9;-geradkettigen oder verzweigten gesättigten aliphatischen Monocarbonsäure (b) oder deren Derivat und der C&sub2; bis C&sub8;-geradkettigen oder verzweigten gesättigten aliphatischen Dicarbonsäure (e) oder deren Derivat unter der Komponente (c), eine ausgezeichnete Kompatibilität mit dem Fluorethan-Kältemittel bei niedrigen Temperaturen und ausgezeichnete Schmiereigenschaften.
- Bestimmte Beispiele der vorstehend beschriebenen Komponente (d) umfassen zweiwertige Alkohole, wie Ethylenglycol, Diethylenglycol, Polyethylenglycol, Polypropylenglycol, Dipropylenglycol, Polypropylenglycol, 1,3-Propandiol, 1,2,-Butandiol, 1,4-Butandiol, 1,6-Hexandiol und 2-Ethyl-1,3-hexandiol; und gehinderte Alkohole, dargestellt durch die folgende Formel (I). Die Zahl der Kohlenstoffatome des aliphatischen zweiwertigen Alkohols liegt im Bereich von 2 bis 30, vorzugsweise von 2 bis 20, und insbesondere von 2 bis 10.
- Der gehinderte Alkohol, dargestellt durch folgende Formel (I) zeigt eine ausgezeichnete Wärmestabilität.
- worin R&sub1; und R&sub2; jeweils eine C&sub1;- bis C&sub6;-Alkylgruppe bedeuten.
- Bestimmte Beispiele der vorstehend beschriebenen Komponente (e) umfassen 0xalsäure, Malonsäure, Methylmalonsäure, Bernsteinsäure, Ethylmalonsäure, Dimethylmalonsäure, Methylbernsteinsäure, Glutarsäure, Adipinsäure, 2,2-Dimethylbernsteinsäure, 2,3-Dimethylbernsteinsäure, 2-Methylglutarsäure, 3-Methylglutarsäure, Butylmalonsäure, Diethylmalonsäure, 2,2-Dimethylglutarsäure, 2,4-Dimethylglutarsäure, 3,3-Dimethylglutarsäure, 2-Ethyl-2- methylbernsteinsäure, 3-Methyladipinsäure, Pimelinsäure, Suberinsäure und 2,2-Dimethyladipinsäure.
- Im Vergleich zu den anderen in der Erfindung verwendeten Estern zeigen die aus den Komponenten (b), (d) und (e) erhaltenen Ester eine ausgezeichnete Kompatibilität mit dem Fluorethan- Kältemittel bei niedrigen Temperaturen, falls die kinematische Viskosität hoch ist. Selbst wenn die kinematische Viskosität bei 100º C höher als 20 x 10 &supmin;&sup6; m²/s (cSt) liegt, ist die Kompatibilität ausgzeichnet. Bezüglich der Schmiereigenschaft ist dieser Ester besser als jene die aus tri- oder höherwertigen Alkoholen des gleichen Viskositätsgrades unter den in der Erfindung verwendeten Estern erhalten werden.
- Für die in der Erfindung verwendeten Ester ist irgendein Alkohol, eine Monocarbonsäure und Dicarbonsäure als Ausgangsmaterial bevorzugt, welche eine verzweigte Struktur vom Aspekt der Korrosionsbeständigkeit gegenüber Metallen und der Hydrolysestabilität aus betrachtet besitzt. Vom Aspekt der Kompatibilität mit dem Fluorethan-Kältemittel beträgt der Verseifungswert des Esters in der Erfindung vorzugsweise wenigstens 330 mg KOH/g und mehr, insbesondere wenigstens 350 mg KOH/g. Falls der Verseifungswert niedriger als dieser Wert ist, nimmt die Kompatibilität mit dem Fluorethan-Kältemittel ab.
- Die in der Erfindung verwendeten Ester umfassen wenigstens eine Art des mehrwertigen Alkohols (a), wie vorstehend beschrieben, wenigstens eine Art der Monocarbonsäure, deren niederen Alkylester oder deren Säureanhydrid (b) und wenigstens eine Art der Dicarbonsäure, deren niederer Alkylester und deren Säureanhydrid (c), und ist erhältlich durch eine gewöhnliche Veresterung oder Umesterung. In diesem Fall werden bis zu 0,9 Mol Dicarbonsäure oder deren Derivat mit 1 Mol des mehrwertigen Alkohols umgesetzt. Falls die Menge der Säure mehr als 0,9 Mol beträgt, wird die Viskosität hoch. Der Säurewert des sich ergebenden Esters ist vorzugsweise so niedrig als möglich und beträgt nicht mehr als 5 mg K0M/g, vorzugsweise nicht mehr als 1 mg KOM/g, insbesondere nicht mehr als 0,2 mg K0H/g.
- Das in der Erfindung verwendete Kältemaschinenöl enthält den vorstehend beschriebenen Ester als Basisöl und kann weiterhin Mineralöl und synthetisches Öl, wie Poly-α-olefin, Alkylbenzol, andere als vorstehend beschriebene Ester, Polyether, Perfluorpolyether, Phosphorsäureester oder deren Mischung enthalten.
- Jedoch ist das synthetische Öl nicht auf die vorstehend beschriebenen beschränkt. Das Gewichtsverhältnis in der Mischung des Esters in der Erfindung zu dem anderen Schmieröl kann willkürlich sein solang die Leistungsfähigkeit, wie Kompatibilität mit dem hydrierten Fluorethan-Kältemittel, nicht herabgesetzt wird. Im allgemeinen beträgt das Gewichtsverhältnis 100/0 bis 5/95, vorzugsweise 100/0 bis 10/90, insbesondere 100/0 bis 30/70.
- Der in der Erfindung verwendete Ester zeigt eine ausgezeichnete Leistungsfähigkeit bezüglich des Fluorethan-Kältemittels und schafft ein Kältemaschinenöl, das eine ausgezeichnete Kompatibilität, thermische Stabilität und Schmiereigenschaften zeigt, insbesondere wenn es in einer Atmosphäre eines hydrierten Fluorethan-Kältemittels verwendet wird. Beispiele des hydrierten Fluorethan-Kältemittels umfassen 1,1,1,2-Tetrafluorethan (R- 134a), 1,1,1,2-Tetrafluor-2-chlorethan (R-124), Pentafluorethan (R-125), 1,1-Difluor-1-chlorethan (R-142b), 1,1,1-Trifluorethan (R-143a) und 1,1-Difluorethan (R-152).
- Es ist möglich, gewöhnliche Schmieradditive, wie ein Antioxidans, ein die Öligkeit verbesserndes Mittel, ein Entschäumungsmittel, einen Metalldesaktivator und ähnliche zu dem Kältemaschinenöl der Erfindung, falls notwendig, zuzugeben.
- Beispiele der Antioxidantien, die verwendbar sind, umfassen phenolische Antioxidantien, wie 2,6-Di-t-butyl-4-methylphenol und 4,4'-Methylenbis(2,6-di-t-butylphenol); Aminantioxidantien, wie p,p-Dioctylphenylamin, Monooctyldiphenylamin, Phenothiazin, 3,7-Dioctalphenothiazin, Phenyl-1-naphthylamin, Phenyl-2-naphthylamin, Alkylphenyl-1-naphthylamin und Alkylphenyl-2-naphthylamin; Schwefel-enthaltende Antioxidantien, wie Alkyldisulfid, Thiodipropionsäureester und Benzothiazol; und Zink-Dialkyldithiophosphat und Zink-Diaryldithiophosphat.
- Beispiele für Extremdruck-Additive und die Öligkeit verbessernde Mittel, die verwendbar sind, umfassend Zinkverbindungen, wie Zink-Dialkyldithiophosphat und Zink-Diaryldithiophosphat; Schwefelverbindungen, wie Thiodipropionsäureester, Dialkylsulfid, Dibenzylsulfid, Dialkylpolysulfid, Alkylmercaptan, Dibenzothiophen und 2,2'-Dithiobis(benzothiazol); Phosphor-haltige Verbindungen, wie Triarylphosphate, wie Tricresylphosphat und Trialkylphosphate; Dialkyl- oder Diarylphosphate; Trialkyl- oder Triarylphosphite; Dialkyl- oder Diarylphosphite; Monoalkyl- oder Monoarylphosphite; Fluorverbindungen, wie Perfluoralkylpolyether, Trifluorchlorethylen-Polymere und Graphitfluorid; Siliciumverbindungen, wie Fettsäure-modifiziertes Silikon; Molybdendisulfid, Graphit und ähnliche.
- Beispiele für verwendbare Entschäumungsmittel umfassen ein Silikonöl, wie Dimethylpolysiloxan und Organosilikate, wie Diethylsilikat. Beispiele für Metalldesaktivatoren, die verwendbar sind, umfassen Alizarin, Chinizarin und Mercaptobenzothiazol. Weiterhin können Epoxyverbindungen, wie Phenylglycidylether, Alkylglycidylether, Epoxystearinsäureester und epoxidiertes Pflanzenöl, Organozinnverbindungen und Borverbindungen als Additiv zum Stabilisieren der Kältemittel zugegeben werden.
- Das im Einklang mit der Erfindung verwendete Kältemaschinenöl besitzt eine genügende Viskosität, hohe Kompatibilität mit den hydrierten Fluorethan-Kältemitteln und eine ausgezeichnete thermische Stabilität und Schmiereigenschaft in dieser Kältemittelatmosphäre.
- Im folgenden wird die Erfindung unter Bezugnahme der Beispiele genauer beschrieben, obwohl sie nicht auf diese Beispiele beschränkt ist.
- Ein Rührer, ein Thermometer, eine Stickstoffeinleitung und eine Entwässerungsröhre, ausgerüstet mit einem Kühler, wurden an einem 1-Liter-Vierhalskolben angebracht. Anschließend wurden 104 g (1,0 Mol) Neopentylglycol, 116 g (1,0 Mol) Capronsäure und 66 g (0,5 Mol) Glutarsäure in den Kolben zur Durchführung der Veresterung bei 240º C für 10 Stunden in einem Stickstoffstrom eingefüllt, um den Ester als Produkt Nr. 1 der Erfindung zu erhalten.
- Ähnliche Reaktionen wurden unter Verwendung der in Tabelle 1 aufgeführten Alkohole und Carbonsäuren und der in der Erfindung verwendeten Ester Nr. 2 bis 14 durchgeführt, und die Ester Nr. 1 bis 7 der Vergleichsprodukte wurden erhalten.
- Die in der Erfindung verwendeten Ester 1 bis 14, die Vergleichsprodukte Nr. 1 bis 13 wurden untersucht, um die kinematische Viskosität bei 40º C, bei 100º C und einen Viskositätsindex gemäß JIS K2283 und anschließend einen Stockpunkt gemäß JIS K2269 zu bestimmen. Die Ergebnisse sind in Tabelle 1 aufgeführt. - Um die Kompatibilität jedes der Produkte Nr. 1 bis 8 und 10 bis 14, die in der Erfindung verwendet werden, und der Vergleichsprodukte Nr. 1 bis 13, die in Beispiel 1 erhalten wurden, und des Produkts Nr. 15, das in der Erfindung verwendet wurde als Mischung des Produkts Nr. 9, das in der Erfindung verwendet wurde (10 Gew.-%), und des Produkts Nr. 1, das in der Erfindung (90 Gew.-%) verwendet wurde, mit 1,1,1,2-Tetrafluorethan (R- 134a) zu prüfen, wurden die Temperaturen zur Phasentrennung sowohl bei niedriger und hoher Temperatur für jede Probe in einer Konzentration von 10 Vol.-% für 1,1,1,2-Tetrafluorethan gemessen.
- Bei Vergleichsprodukten mit einer ungenügenden Phasentrennungs- Temperatur bei niedriger Temperatur, wurde die Messung der Phasentrennungs-Temperatur bei hoher Temperatur weggelassen.
- Die Ergebnisse sind in Tabelle 2 angeführt.
- Wie aus Tabelle 2 klar zu entnehmen ist, besaßen die in der Erfindung verwendeten Estern eine ausgezeichnete Kompatibilität mit 1,1,1,2-Tetrafluorethan bei niedriger Temperatur und die Kompatibilität wurde nicht verringert, selbst wenn die Temperatur erhöht wurde. Unter den in der Erfindung verwendeten Estern hatten solche, die erhalten wurden aus den Komponenten (b), (d) und (e) (die Produkte Nr. 1, 2, 3, 10 und 11 gemäß der Erfindung) eine ausreichend hohe Kompatibilität, selbst wenn die Viskosität hoch war. Der in der Erfindung verwendete Ester mit einer kinematischen Viskosität von mehr als 20 x 10&supmin;&sup6; m²/s (cSt) bei 100º C (das Produkt Nr. 9 der Erfindung) kann die Kompatibilität mit dem Fluorethan-Kältemittel verbessern, falls er gemischt wird mit den Estern mit einer kinematischen Viskosität von nicht mehr als 20 x 10&supmin;&sup6; m²/s (cSt). - Die Belastungsbeständigkeit jedes in der Erfindung verwendeten Produkts Nr. 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11 und 12 und der Vergleichsprodukte Nr. 8 bis 11 wurde unter Durchführung des Falex-Tests untersucht.
- Genauer ausgedrückt, während 1,1,1,2-Tetrafluorethan (Flon 134a) mit einer Rate von 150 cm³/min eingeblasen wurde, wurde die Rotation unter Nichtbelastung für 10 Minuten durchgeführt, und anschießend, nachdem eine vorläufige Rotation bei 200 lb für 5 Minuten bewirkt wurde, wurde die Last um eine 50-lb-Last alle 2 Minuten erhöht, um die Festfressbelastung zu prüfen.
- Die Ergebnisse sind in Tabelle 3 aufgeführt.
- Wie aus Tabelle 3 klar ersichtlich ist, besitzt das Naphthenöl (Vergleichsprodukt Nr. 8) eine niedrigere Belastungsbeständigkeit wenn 1,1,1,2-Tetrafluorethan eingeblasen wurde (450 lb) als wenn Dichlordifluormethan (R-12) eingeblasen wurde (Bezugsbeispiel 1: 600 lb). Der Belastungswiderstand von Poly- -olefin (Vergleichsbeispiel Nr. 9) und der Polyether (Vergleichsprodukte Nr. 10 und 11) war nicht größer als 550 lb wenn 1,1,1,2-Tetrafluorethan eingeblasen wurde, so daß diese eine schlechtere Belastungsbeständigkeit besaßen. Andererseits war die Belastungsbeständigkeit jedes der in der Erfindung verwendeten Ester nicht niedriger als 600 lb wenn 1,1,1,2-Tetrafluorethan eingeblasen wurde, was deren überlegene Belastungsbeständigkeit zeigt. Die Ester mit einer kinematischen Viskosität von mehr als 20 cSt bei 100º C (Produkte Nr. 9, 11 und 12 der Erfindung) zeigten eine besonders hohe Belastungsbeständigkeit. Die Belastungsbeständigkeit jedes der zweiwertigen Alkoholestern (Produkte Nr. 1, 2, 4, 11 und 12 gemäß der Erfindung) war höher als jene der dreiwertigen Alkoholester. - Die Verschleißbeständigkeit jedes der Produkte Nr. 2, 3, 5, 6, 9 und 11 der Erfindung und der Vergleichsprodukte Nr. 8 bis 11, erhalten in Beispiel 1, des Produkts Nr. 16 der Erfindung als Mischung aus Produkt Nr. 3 der Erfindung (70 Gew.-%) und des Produkts Nr. 11 der Erfindung (30 Gew.-%), und des Produkts Nr. 17 dieser Erfindung als Mischung des Produkts Nr. 5 der Erfindung (60 Gew.-%) und des Produkts Nr. 9 der Erfindung (40 Gew.-%), wurden unter Durchführung des Falex-Tests untersucht.
- Die Nicht-Belastungsrotation wurde 10 Minuten durchgeführt während 1,1,1,2-Tetrafluorethan (R-134a) mit einer Rate von 150 cm³/min eingeblasen wurde, und anschließend wurde eine vorläufige Rotation bei 200 lb für 5 Minuten bewirkt. Anschließend wurde die Rotation bei 350 lb für 60 Minuten durchgeführt und die Abriebmenge vom V-Block und der Pins nach dem Betrieb wurde untersucht.
- Die Ergebnisse sind in Tabelle 4 aufgeführt.
- Wie aus Tabelle 4 klar verstanden werden kann, zeigten die in der Erfindung verwendeten Ester eine höhere Verschleißbeständigkeit als jene des Naphthenöls (Vergleichsprodukt Nr. 8), des Poly- -olefins (Vergleichsprodukt Nr. 9) und der Polyether (Vergleichsprodukte Nr. 10 und 11) und die Verschleißbeständigkeit war gleich oder überlegen derjenigen, wenn Dichlordifluormethan (R-12) in das Naphthen eingeblasen wurde (Referenzbeispiel 1). Unter den in der Erfindung verwendeten Estern zeigten insbesondere solche mit einer kinematischen Viskosität von mehr als 20 x 10&supmin;&sup6; m²/s (cSt) bei 100º C (Produkte Nr. 9 und 11 gemäß der Erfindung) eine hohe Verschleißbeständigkeit. Die Verschleißbeständigkeit könnte verbessert werden durch Mischen der Ester mit einer kinematischen Viskosität von mehr als 20 x 10&supmin;&sup6; m²/s (cSt) mit den Estern der Erfindung mit einer kinematischen Viskosität von nicht mehr als 20 x 10&supmin;&sup6; m²/s (cSt) (Produkte Nr. 16 und 17 der Erfindung). Die zweiwertigen Alkoholester (Produkte Nr. 2, 3 und 11 der Erfindung) besaßen eine höhere Verschleißbeständigkeit als solche der dreiwertigen Alkoholester. - Der abgedichtete Röhrentest (175º C x 14 Tage) wurde unter Verwendung von Eisen, Kupfer und Aluminium als Katalysator durchgeführt, um die thermische Stabilität der Produkte Nr. 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 11 und 13 der Erfindung, erhalten in Beispiel 1, in einer Atmosphäre von 1,1,1,2-Tetrafluorethan zu untersuchen.
- Die Ergebnisse sind in Tabelle 5 aufgeführt.
- Wie klar aus Tabelle 5 ersichtlich ist, besaß jeder der erfindungsgemäßen Ester ein gutes Erscheinungsbild, ergab jedoch keinerlei Ausfällung und besaß eine gute thermische Stabilität. Tabelle 5 Erscheinungsbild Niederschlag Erfindungsgemäßes Produkt gut nichts
- Die Hygroskopizität jedes der Produkte Nr. 1, 2 und 5 der Erfindung und der Vergleichsprodukte Nr. 10 und 11, erhalten in Beispiel 1, wurde untersucht.
- Genauer gesagt, die Feuchtigkeitsänderung im Verlauf der Zeit unter der Bedingung von 25º C und 80 % Feuchtigkeit wurde mittels der Karl-Fischer-Methode bestimmt.
- Die Ergebnisse sind in Tabelle 6 aufgeführt.

Claims (9)
1. Ölzusammensetzung für die Kälteerzeugung, umfassend (1) ein
hydriertes Fluorethan; und
(2) eine Esterverbindung, erhalten aus:
(2-a) einem aliphatischen mehrwertigen Alkohol mit 1 bis 6
primären Hydroxylgruppen;
(2-b) einer gesättigten aliphatischen Monocarbonsäure mit 2
bis 9 Atomen, gerade oder verzweigt, oder einem Derivat
davon;
und (2-c) einer gesättigten aliphatischen Dicarbonsäure mit
2 bis 10 Kohlenstoffatomen, gerade oder verzweigt, oder
einem Derivat davon;
wobei die Esterverbindung eine kinematische Viskosität bei

2. Zusammensetzung nach Anspruch 1, wobei das
Gewichtsverhältnis von (1), dem hydrierten Fluorethan, zu (2) der
Esterverbindung im Bereich von 10/1 bis 1/5 liegt.
3. Zusammensetzung nach Anspruch 1, die weiterhin ein anderes
Schmiermittel in einem Gewichtsverhältnis zu der
Esterverbindung bis zu 95 Gew.-% umfaßt.
4. Zusammensetzung nach Anspruch 1, wobei die Esterverbindung
eine kinematische Viskosität bei 100º C im Bereich von 1 bis
20 x 10&supmin;&sup6; m²/s (cst) besitzt.
5. Zusammensetzung nach Anspruch 1, wobei die Esterverbindung
eine kinematische Viskosität bei 100º C im Bereich von 20
bis 100 x 10&supmin;&sup6; m²/s (cst) besitzt.
6. Zusammensetzung nach Anspruch 1, wobei die Esterverbindung
erhalten wird aus:
(2-a) einem aliphatischen zweiwertigen Alkohol mit 1 bis 2
primären Hydroxylgruppen;
(2-b) einer gesättigten aliphatischen Monocarbonsäure mit 2
bis 9 Atomen, gerade oder verzweigt, oder einem Derivat
davon;
und (2-c) einer gesättigten aliphatischen Dicarbonsäure mit
2 bis 8 Kohlenstoffatomen, gerade oder verzweigt, oder einem
Derivat davon.
7. Zusammensetzung nach Anspruch 1, wobei die Esterverbindung
erhalten wird aus 1 Mol von (2-a), 4 Molen oder weniger von
(2-b) und 0,9 Molen oder weniger von (2-c).
8. Zusammensetzung nach Anspruch 1, wobei die Esterverbindung
ein Verseifungswert von wenigstens 330 mg KOH/g besitzt.
9. Zusammensetzung nach Anspruch 1, wobei das hydrierte
Fluorethan 1,1,1,2-Tetrafluorethan ist.
