Die erfindungsgemäße Cholinoxydase besitzt die folgenden physiko-chemischen Eigenschaften.
Bei der Oxydation von 1 Mol Cholin wird 1 Mol Betainaldehyd und 1 Mol Wasserstoffperoxid freigesetzt is Das 1 Mol Betainaldehyd wird weiter unter Bildung von 1 Mol Betain und 1 Mol Wasserstoffperoxid oxydiert.
