Abstract

Verfahren zur Herstellung von Fluormethyl-2,2,2-trifluor-1-(trifluormethyl)ethylether (Sevofluran), umfassend das Umsetzen eines Gemischs, das 1,1,1,3,3,3-Hexafluor-2-propanol (HFIP), Formaldehyd und Wasserstoff umfasst, in Gegenwart oder unter anschließender Zugabe eines Lösungsmittels, das selektiv Sevofluran extrahieren kann.

Claims (11)

  1. Verfahren zur Herstellung von Fluormethyl-2,2,2-trifluor-1-(trifluormethyl)ethylether (Sevofluran), umfassend das Umsetzen eines Gemischs, das 1,1,1,3,3,3-Hexafluor-2-propanol (HFIP), Formaldehyd und Wasserstoff umfasst, in Gegenwart oder unter anschließender Zugabe eines Lösungsmittels, das selektiv Sevofluran extrahieren kann.
  2. Verfahren zur Herstellung von Fluormethyl-2,2,2-trifluor-1-(trifluormethyl)ethylether (Sevofluran), umfassend das Umsetzen eines Gemischs, das 1,1,1,3,3,3-Hexafluor-2-propanol (HFIP), Formaldehyd und Fluorwasserstoff umfasst, in Abwesenheit eines dehydratisierenden, protonierenden oder Fluoridionen erzeugenden Mittels, aber in Gegenwart oder unter anschließender Zugabe eines Lösungsmittels, das selektiv Sevofluran extrahieren kann.
  3. Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei das Lösungsmittel aus der Gruppe ausgewählt ist, die aus Chlorfluorkohlenstoffen, Chlorkohlenwasserstoffen, Perfluorkohlenwasserstoffen, Perfluorethern und Kohlenwasserstoffen besteht.
  4. Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 3, wobei es sich bei dem Lösungsmittel um HC-0.8-Öl handelt.
  5. Verfahren gemäß einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, wobei das Gemisch einen oder mehrere Polyether der allgemeinen Formel R1O(CH2O)nR2 umfasst, wobei n = 1 oder 2 ist und R1 und R2 unabhängig aus der Gruppe ausgewählt sind, die aus Wasserstoff, Alkylgruppen und Halogenalkylgruppen besteht, wobei aber R1 und R2 nicht beide Wasserstoff in derselben Formel sind.
  6. Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 2, umfassend: a) Umsetzen von HFIP mit Formaldehyd und Fluorwasserstoff in Gegenwart oder unter anschließender Zugabe von HC-0.8-Öl, was eine HC-0.8-Öl-Lösung ergibt, die Sevofluran, Bis{[2,2,2-trifluor-1-(trifluormethyl)ethoxy]methyl}ether, Formaldehyddi[2,2,2-trifluor-1-(trifluormethyl)ethyl]acetal, Formaldehydmethyl[2,2,2-trifluor-1-(trifluormethyl)ethyl]acetal und Formaldehydfluormethyl[2,2,2-trifluor-1-(trifluormethyl)ethyl]acetal umfasst; b) Abtrennen von Sevofluran aus der HC-0.8-Öl-Lösung durch Destillation unter Bildung von Sevofluran und restlicher HC-0.8-Öl-Lösung; und c) Zurückführen der restlichen HC-0.8-Öl-Lösung in das Verfahren
  7. Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 6, das weiterhin das Herstellen von Sevofluran durch Umsetzen des Bis{[2,2,2-trifluor-1-(trifluormethyl)ethoxy]methyl}ethers mit Fluorwasserstoff in Gegenwart oder unter anschließender Zugabe eines Lösungsmittels, das selektiv Sevofluran extrahieren kann, umfasst.
  8. Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 6, das weiterhin das Herstellen von Sevofluran durch Umsetzen des Formaldehyddi[2,2,2-trifluor-1-(trifluormethyl)ethyl]acetals und des Formaldehydfluormethyl[2,2,2-trifluor-1-(trifluormethyl)ethyl]acetals mit Fluorwasserstoff und Formaldehyd in Gegenwart oder unter anschließender Zugabe eines Lösungsmittels, das selektiv Sevofluran extrahieren kann, umfasst.
  9. Verfahren gemäß einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, wobei Wasser als konstant siedendes Gemisch mit Fluorwasserstoff aus dem Reaktionsgemisch entfernt wird.
  10. Verfahren zum Abtrennen von Fluormethyl-2,2,2-trifluor-1-(trifluormethyl)ethylether (Sevofluran) aus einem Gemisch, das Sevofluran, 1,1,1,3,3,3-Hexafluor-2-propanol (HFIP) und Fluorwasserstoff umfasst, wobei das Verfahren Folgendes umfasst: a) Bereitstellen eines Gemischs, das Sevofluran, HFIP und Fluorwasserstoff umfasst; und b) Extrahieren mit einem Lösungsmittel, das selektiv Sevofluran extrahieren kann.
  11. Verfahren zum Entfernen von Wasser aus einem Gemisch, das Fluorwasserstoff und Wasser umfasst, wobei das Verfahren Folgendes umfasst: a) Bereitstellen eines Gemischs, das Fluorwasserstoff und Wasser umfasst; und b) Entfernen von Wasser aus dem Gemisch als konstant siedendes Gemisch mit Fluorwasserstoff.
