Abstract
Un compuesto organometálico adecuado para utilización como uncatalizador para la preparación de un éster que comprende el producto de la reacción de un ortoéster condensado de titanio, circonio o aluminio, un alcohol que contiene por lo menos dos grupos hidroxilo, un compuesto organofosforoso que contiene por lo menos un grupo P-OH y una base. Un proceso para la preparación de un éster que comprende calentar una mezcla de dos ésteres, en presencia de un catalizador (que comprende el producto de la reacción de un ortoéster u ortoéster condensado de titanio, circonio o aluminio, un alcohol que contiene por lo menos dos grupos hidroxilo, un compuesto organofosforoso que contiene por lo menos un grupo P-OH y una base) y retirar un producto volátil éster.
