Abstract

<B>CATALISADOR E PROCESSO PARA A PRODUçãO DE ACETATO DE VINILO<D> Um catalisador para a produção de acetato de vinilo por reação de etileno, oxigênio e ácido acético como reagentes que compreende um suporte poroso, sobre as superfícies porosas do qual são depositadas quantidades cataliticamente eficazes de paládio e ouro metálicos e um terceiro metal selecionado do grupo que consiste em magnésio, cálcio, bário, zircónio e cério, como seu óxido ou mistura de óxido e metal, tendo o catalisador sido preparado por qualquer de dois métodos específicos (A) ou (B). O uso do catalisador resulta em uma reação de atividade relativamente elevada e/ou baixa seletividade para sobras pesadas.
