Abstract

Motores de combustão interna de pistões apostos, conjuntos e trem de engrenagem respectivos, máquina, veículo, ferramenta elétrica, gerador de eletricidade e respectivos métodos de operação e de resfriamento. Num motor de combustão interna de dois ciclos de pistões opostos, são acoplados pistões opostos dispostos num cilindro a um par de eixos de manivela montados na lateral pela conexão de bielas que são sujeitas a forças substancialmente elásticas agindo entre os pistões e os eixos de manivela. Esta geometria reduz ou elimina as forças laterais entre os pistões e o orifício do cilindro. O cilindro e os pistões são resfriados independentemente, para reduzir a deformação cilíndrica causada pela expansão térmica durante a operação do motor.
